- In this video I unbox and review the Fender Hammerrtone Fuzz pedal. I demo its through a 1976 Fender Champ with a Fender Strat And A Tommy Thayer Les Paul to showcase how the pedal reacts to both single coil pickups as well as hum buckers, Overall , I am very pleased with this pedal. The Octave setting is very cool and comes alive when you use the neck pickup and roll back the tone. For $79 this pedal is an affordable option with some nice fuzz tones and first impressions appears to be built well and should stand the test of time. I hope you enjoy the video. Please subscribe!!

Love the octave switch on this. Fuzz is an effect I gotta dip my feet into.
It's pretty wicked! I stumbled onto the octave trick by luck, when I was messy around with tone and the neck pickup. I will certainly use this pedal for solos!!
@@Ranch5150SkinWalker The octave switch is god awful, you cannot play double stops or multiple notes without a HORRIBLE off key ring modulation type noise. Good fuzz besides that

Really reasonable price on that pedal. Vintage looking knobs, too bad they felt like cheaper plastic. Sounds like you said that they shouldn't break so that's cool. Thanks again 🎸
I guess anyway to keep the cost down is the way to go. Overall it's well built. It's hard not to buy pedals when there are so many good affordable options out there. It's so fun!

So... THAT'S how Kenny Wayne Shepard got the sound for the solo on "Blue On Black". Oh, and one tiny complaint. The two biggest fuzz tone songs of all time are "Satisfaction" and "Sunshine Of Your Love". Not even one five or ten note riff? 😢 Lol. Great vid Marty! Thanks 👍

Cool pedal Marty. I kinda liked the sustain it gave the LP more than the effect it had on the Strat. But I ain't no expert...ask anybody
In review of the video I think I do too! Playing the pedal with both guitars was fun, I kind of enjoy the fight the Strat brings. Lol. But the LP really sings. You can do so trippy stuff with it. I was really impressed with this little pedal overall!

Sounds like it is based on a Foxx Tone Machine. It will be interesting to hear how it does in a full band mix.

Cool pedal man! You could maybe get the Billy Gibbons tone with a little tweaking.

Hi Marty, I am big fan of your videos. You have musicality. You know the theory but you play from your heart not from your head, like so many of these people who have been to guitar college. Just like EVH and Billy Gibbons you have Tone. Your demo of the Fender Hammertone Fuzz has finally made me fall in love with Fuzz. Maybe you should think about getting the Fender Hammertone. Delay Pedal and at end of video combing with
the Hammertone Fuzz. I have been watching your lesson on James Bond theme you did a few months back. Awesome! Keep your videos coming, they brighten up my day.
