Man keep this kind of content coming. This is the stuff that nobody takes the time to teach you on the job. They just assume you will figure it out with enough seat time. That may be true but if I can see someone like you do it and explain what you are doing I can learn it 10 times faster.
I appreciate the feedback! I'm actually changing gears on the channel. The vlog content is moving to a separate channel and I'm doubling down to work on putting out solid Down and Dirty content.
Another great material that I enjoyed watching. 👌🤛
Thanks for watching, brother!
Great tips on getting the concrete in the bucket, quick and to the point, thanks.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Love to 'how to' vids. Keep them coming.
Absolutely brother, thanks for watching!
Excellent video. Thanks for the tip. Greatly appreciated.
You got it. Thanks for watching
Finally I found a video to help pick up small rocks and concrete. Although I operate a Gradall it's basically same technique. Thanks man!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you! This is exactly what I need for my first solo concrete rip up and relocate.
Glad it was helpful!
Another thing you can do to avoid scratching the dipper when doing the sliding down method is if the piece has a narrow end on it, slide down it, and uncurl the bucket slightly so the end goes into the top of the bucket , drop the boom and then curl the bucket. Works well for longer thinner pieces. More stable too
Great tip mike! Thanks for sharing
Excellent! Would love to see how to carry logs/trees when you don't have a thumb. My mini-ex doesn't have one. I use the grapple on my skid steer or sub-compact tractor instead, but would love to learn how to do it with my mini-ex. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Unfortunately I don't know that I'm going to offer up much solid advice. That one is just going to be a challenge due to the nature of the beast. There isn't really a good way to do it without a thumb or a grapple. Thanks for watching Beau!
If you have another person with you it is nice to have a chain or strap that you can crane the trees with into your trailer/bin/dumpbed
I have been tearing out a foundation and a green backhoe operator this video helped tons thanks
Glad it was helpful, thanks for watching!
Wow amazing!! Thanks a lot my man!! For sure I will be using that trick when that situation comes!!
I appreciate the comment as always brother
I dig it brother, always a pleasure watching
I appreciate you watching!
Great video again man, thanks
Thanks for watching, glad it was helpful!
It's good Tip. nowadays We can rarely find the excavators without the thumb in korea. So, sometimes we forget how to do it
That's getting to be the case here in the US. Thumbs have really taken over the market in the last 7-10 years.
@@DieselandIron Now we guys is interested in tiltrotator instead of the thumb So, the market is changing again and getting fast.
Great tips.
Thanks, brother!
Thank you
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Like always, great tips and advice 👌
Appreciate it!
Now you put this out. Thanks!
You got it! 😂
Much love to you all....👷👷
Thanks for watching!
Great material!
Thanks, thanks for watching!
Like the lower comments , such a good video this is the kinda stuff people on site never teach you , great work man 👍🏻
Thanks Jimmy! Happy to help!
Awesome
It always makes me nervous pulling concrete because pieces like to fly every now and then, I also like to try and get off to one side of the concrete when possible so if it pops off it goes over to the side instead of straight back at the cab
Blah blah blah
@@brandonculpepper438 I bow to the master
@@ryangarrett3795 yes, bow to me child.
The key is to use your bucket to pry upwards. That will make the majority of the force go in a direction that isn't towards the cab. If you are really cranking on a piece and it isn't really moving, change tactics. Another common mistake is to continue to put all of that force on the concrete until something finally gives. In that case either the machine will break or the concrete will let loose and shoot in all different directions without any control.
Any tips to pick up like a small pile of dirt when you almost done cleaning up. I almost got it have people with shovels to throw it bucket because if not all i do is chase the pile all over. Lol. 🤦🏼♂️
