The remake art style looks amazing
Maybe but it doesn’t look like the manga .
Ehh not really it misses the fine details of the old anime, the facial expressions too.
Seen other scenes where kenshins eyes never turn yellow or his eyes never constrict showing when he is serious or turns into the manslayer again. It is the small details that are missing.
I don't know. It feels flat. I feels much more emotional from the old Kenshin anime.

Jigen ryu have been depicted used with sabers twice in media, although the style use make sense in the meiji era I haven't found real historical accounts of it.

@@yumikumi2you do know those are either them tranforming or saying a catchphrase the only one that makes sense in terms of your arguement is "Hulk Smash" and hulk is usually already about to smash before he screams that out
@@yumikumi2That's not the same and you know it. Here, they're doing nothing but self - aggrandizing/attempting to intimidate. In the other case, it's either a catchphrase, part of a transformation sequence, or a statement of will.

I believe that it was tradition to state your martial arts school name when dueling.

@oceanberserker the time period this takes place, it was not uncommon to duel to the death just a few years ago. So it's probably a habit of that time

the animation is good but the new voice for kenshin and the music is just nowhere near the og
Why watch the remake of this or trigun when the originals are so good
It feels flat. I think the og is way better...
This reboot was mad disappointing in some aspects graphics was a step up in animation giving more fluidity to the fights but the story pacing and character development was sub par like half the time I am not sure where they were going with it.
OST mid at best if they kept the 90’s music 🎵 it would have solidified or even remixed it to make it more modern but hey 👋 they did make it look better
But the remake is closer to the manga.
