- In today's episode of #TalkingTimepieces we get shown the latest #Sinn #watches at the company's facility in Frankfurt.
NOTE: I had some issues initially with focus because I was holding the watches with my hand, but they all eventually come into focus. my apologies. i'll use a stand next time

The full lume dial U50 has a very white color, looks nice
They can fill them with oil yet can't get the second hand to hit the minute indices, that would drive me nuts. Nice looking though.
I just got a 556 with the old clasp like two weeks ago... did you happen to ask them, if they will sell those clasps as a replacement part?

Got a similar clasp on a watch from aliexpress. It's hard to go back to a normal clasp after trying a on the fly clasp

I love Sinn, but that Hydro solution is really not convincing me. To send back the watch to Sinn for battery change is quite unconvenient. IMHO.
It's a tradeoff for sure, it depends on how highly you value the Hydro. You can also get Sinn divers without it
Need have better focus camera
It's actually a good camera, I wasn't paying enough attention to ensure it was in proper focus. I had debated not using the content, but that would have been a waste. I'll get a camera crew one day, but for now it's just me

Still beautiful.
While I am still awaiting the delivery of my U50 S L, I have imagined Sinn re-releasing all of their popular U50 series watches (U50-T, S BS, Professional) with the indices and lume marker/pearl all being made out of the same hybrid ceramic material. That way, their 500M dive watches will finally have the same outstanding lume applications as their top competitors (Tudor, Rolex, etc).
I believe that would really cause them to climb up on the watch food chain =).
