People slept on the original Diabotical too and it was incredible already. Shame. Honestly, Diabotical 1 looks better to me, and I wish people still played that, but I will definitely throw them my support.
I think another issue is that the original got stuck on epic game store which isnt good since most people just use it for fortnite or whatever game they got for free. It sucks but seeing how diabotical was f2p its important to atleast have the most availability you can
Did someone say Quake? :o Quake 3 Arena was the first game I played online (and on Sega Dreamcast of all things). After you mentioned Quake I could totally see a bit of that in this game.
This looks exactly like the kind of game a dude that's played too much Autochess and Arena Shooters would make. Sucks they nerfed movement so hard but in return it makes gun fights have that Apex feel, where it's like a roller coaster of tension and release.
Im pretty sure the founder of esports and the person who designed an engine that has better latency than john carmacks engine knows how to handle anti-cheat as well as anyone else.
@@2bnator Nothing like quake? Sure its slower than quake and the rogue-like system make the class/packs more like OW gun types and abilities. However, it's the same arena shooter genre, the map format and modes are from quake, and Diabotical 1 that this game is built from is inspired by Quake.
let them sleep on it. gdstudio doesnt deserve the support. worse movement than original so sucks as both an arena fps and rogue. and its overpriced. just go play quake

This is more like Quake with a twist. However, I do think that a BR with this kind of character format and gun play would be sick.
This isn't a BR and Apex wasn't the 1st to have a perk system or an hero-ability system.

Not really. Their first title was a pure arena shooter. This is a deliberate mix between that, OW/TF2, Apex with a rouge-lite twist.
