Hi guys, I’m an applicant in the process of joining the Royal Air Force. I’ll be covering the entire application process on my channel, which may interest some of you. I posted my first video regarding the DAA on Saturday. Please let me know if it was helpful, thank you.

Question 7 seems impossible to complete in 30s. I started to work this out by adding 12% onto £412,500. I had already run out of time by this point and those 30s dont even count the time it takes to read the question.
Hi there, is this aptitude test specifically designed for “aircrew” applicants only or for other officer roles as well? I’ve applied for logistics officer just recently and on the official RAF webpage it states that this particular role “is not aptitude tested at OASC”. You are generally allowed to use pen and paper for calculations, but it's important to verify this by checking the specific guidelines provided by the RAF or contacting their recruitment team. :)
Okay I'm not sure if its just me but Question 9 400 total so I assumed 400/100 = 4 (4 equates to 1 person) The I noticed that 32-28 = 4 so 4x4 = 16? Is this just a fluke or is this a correct way to work this out?
Yes candidates are typically allowed to use pen and paper. This is because the purpose of these tests is to assess your numerical reasoning ability and problem-solving skills, not your ability to perform mental arithmetic alone. Having pen and paper allows you to work through calculations more effectively and reduces the risk of simple errors. :)
Is there a reason why 73.75% is not given as the correct answer to Q6? If your firing trajectory were 0.25% out then you will fail to hit your target. Is precision not required?
A = 720 In order to work out the number of people working in Sales in Year 4, you need to work out the total number of employees in that year. • So, 504 (number of people employed in Finance) × 100 ÷ 21 (percentage of Finance) = 2400. • So, 2400 ÷ 100 × 30 (number of employees in Sales) = 720.
