Beaver Trapping 101-The Basic sets Part 4 - Double Dam Break Beaver Set

The double dam break beavers set is a go-to summer damage control set for beavers.
They are very aware of rising and falling water levels, so this set is very effective in the drier months.
Once you've caught all the beavers in the area, the breaks will no longer get fixed. Be aware that an old wary beaver might take longer to catch.... make sure that you've caught at leat 2 adult beaver at all locations.
With the amounted age of the sign on this pond, I expect to catch 5-8 avers of various ages.

I stopped setting in the breaks I make. I use a castor mound (or just a stick with castor lure on it) a few feet away. That gets their attention before they touch the break.
I must admit, your "shelf" at the break is a genius way to do it. Seems everybody throws a MB-750 or TS-85 right in the break and they wonder why it's set off with no beaver.
