Interesting, I’ve never heard of rusting powder? But the effect is really neat! Malt vinegar here in Canada usually reserved for chips xoxo. Thank you for sharing. Have a Happy New Year!
Oh, I think I lost my comment but anyway it’s gorgeous! I particularly like the abstract look of the paper towels and I am sure that I would try to add some blue-green patina color here and there, perhaps infusions if they have that color but I can’t remember right now. All kinds of things to do with it! Thank you! Possibly balsamic vinegar would have the same brown color? But of course it’s quite pricey. Great work!😊😊😊
Enjoyed watching this process. Thank you for sharing. I was able to play with the powder today on the backs of some postcards I’ll be sending. I’m pretty happy with the results considering it’s my first time! 😊
I love using real rust but the powder would be easier and more concentrated in areas. Can you tell me where to buy this rusting powder in the states? I loved this video and you so I watched several more and many other in my mind to watch. Thanks 😊
Thank you, I find the smell wears off eventually but takes a while . Mostly I incorporate them into my mixed media projects and they end up with a medium such as matt medium on the top. The smell goes when they are coated. I hope that helps
Thankyou. It's lovely to hear your accent as there's so many videos with American accents
Thank you for watching, it's amazing how many viewers comment on my accent. It's so funny because I don't like listening to my voice on the videos😂
I forgot to say your RUST ATC's are perfect!
Thank you 😊
Love the rusty towel and tissue but your ATC’s are really awesome. Thank you for the inspiration.

Can we use apple cider vinegar?
Yes, any cider will work and apple cider vinegar smells not quite as bad as others

Thank you. Seth Apter has it in his shop. Seth Apter.com . Hope that helps
Does the paper once dry, smell like vinegar? I don’t like the smell of vinegar
@@janeruthraphael4644 it does for a while. I just found some odourless vinegar in a UK store. Maybe try to find that 🤔
Love these papers but how long does your paper smell like vinegar?
Thank you, I find the smell wears off eventually but takes a while . Mostly I incorporate them into my mixed media projects and they end up with a medium such as matt medium on the top. The smell goes when they are coated. I hope that helps
Cool!
Have you tried this with rice paper?
Thank you, yes, as long as it isn't too thin, it will work. Have fun
