This song perfectly sums up the love a mother has for her daughter. Then the daughter grows up and moves away. But then comes back and tells her that she always loved her, even though she left.
I use to have this cat. his name was milkyway & I had him for to years he was like my best friend you know mans best friend but cat version. anyway he use to cuddle with me and do the strangest things. I had him since he was a kitten, but one day he got out and my mom was scared he might have some type of thing like fleas or whatever so he couldn't come in. a few weeks later because he would always come around the house and we would feed him but after I came home from school we found him sick and dying. I wrapped him in a blanket and held him close to me and he looked so happy when I held him. we took him to the vet and they said he was in pain and they had to put him down, this song was probably exactly how he felt.
I know that it's stupid to watch stuff like this when wounds are still open. But this song sums up the story of my wife (well...ex wife now.). If I can offer any kind of wisdom, it would be this; Don't neglect the people you love, and do whatever you can to make them happy. or you'll be singing this song with a lot more feeling than you ever dreamed you would.
Ever since I saw Toy Story 2 all those years ago, I just don't remember a time that I haven't cried listening to this song. I remember watching it and having to leave the room until it finished. 18 years old and I still cry...
This song is so sad it makes me sad when I song it in my choir it makes me think of my mom all the time cause she's been there all my life that is why I love this song so much 😥😥😥😥😂😂😂😞😒😌😔😁😳💔💞💞💞💞💞💕💕💕💕💕💖💕💕💕💕💕💕💜💙💚❤💗💔💜💙💜❤💗
I am actually now understanding that Emily grew out of Jessie. She got older and had no use for her anymore. I am 17 on 15/10 (4 days) and I am starting to feel the same way. I had a stuffed animal, Jessie (named after Jessie from Toy Story) who I used to love and adore, and now it's sitting in my cupboard. It brings me back to the times I used to sit on my bed and watch Toy Story and Toy Story 2 like 3 or 4 times a month. These are precious times we will never get back.
This song is exactly what is going on with me and my girl that I want to have relationship with. Even thou she did not realise. I have always been by her side when she cry, sad and lonely. But she still cannot figured out. Hope one day she will say to me I will always love you T T
@webkinzproductionz22 Thank you!:) that means alot :) i worked really hard and i'm glad people are liking it!!! haha I hope you enjoy the rest of my videos too! -TheNinja97 :)
Got to thinking and realized this song reminds me A LOT of a Pokemon-Creepy-Pasta-Character named BRVR.... his game life was like but then the game-player got an actual friend, and she drifted away... (he's the Pikachu in Pokemon Channel, the Creepy-pasta is called Pokemon Dead Channel).... V.V (probably gave away a spoiler somewhere in all that... I tend to do that a lot...)
+Marvin The Maniacal Dancing Ape yes and no. It's based on a true story about a dog in Japan who always awaits his master at the subway. And when his master passes away from a fatal heart attack, the dog still waits at the subway until he dies of age.

Good old childhood music searching time ♥ I had no idea Sarah is the one who sang this song tho. Now I have a reason to love it that much more!
Saddest song in the history of sad songs. It is so emotional that it leaves you with that empty-hearted feeling in your soul.
My manly tears are melting steel beams, over here.
Sarah McLachlan was an inside job.
You know that feeling that you get when your so sad but happy....💓💓💓💓
Damn, this song hits the heart.
Every time she sings "And I knew.." I start singing "Alleluyah.."
Even if I will be 40, or 80 (I am 17) I will still cry my ass out..
i love this song! great job on the lyrics
I remember crying when I first saw this scene in Toy Story 2. My nana had just died so it hurt so much.
