Very Good presentation on the hardware and software. I just finished getting my camera linked up to the software and I am very excited to put the camera outside and start capturing some time lapse video.
I’m looking to build an all sky cam just to capture meteors. I know that larger pixels are better for that. I’m not really sure if I should get a color or a mono camera for that. My guess is that if no IR cut filter is used then the sensitivity of the color cam would be pretty similar to a mono. I was wondering if a dash cam or a cheap wireless security cam that records motion and is good in low light could be used as a meteor cam too.
Hi, As you know, is it possible to take videos from this cameras (All Sky Camera or homebuilt one) and put in a projector to show on a roof in the night just as a LIVE PLANETARIUM? is the quality enough and is it possible? Thanks for answer
