Просмотров 2657 месяцев назад
NASA has recently sent several spacecraft out into our solar system to explore some of its smaller members: the asteroids. These bodies hold many clues to the formation of our Sun and the whole system. The Lucy mission is on its way to the orbit of Jupiter, to visit a number of asteroids that orbit along with it; in this presentation, NASA Solar System Ambassador Bill Higgins fills us in on wha...

At 19:23, the speaker says "If your job is flying Psyche, at certain times, you're going to be very busy!" Of course he means Lucy, not Psyche, an entirely different spacecraft. One hates to see this kind of thing at this level of play.

Hi, As you know, is it possible to take videos from this cameras (All Sky Camera or homebuilt one) and put in a projector to show on a roof in the night just as a LIVE PLANETARIUM? is the quality enough and is it possible? Thanks for answer

I’m looking to build an all sky cam just to capture meteors. I know that larger pixels are better for that. I’m not really sure if I should get a color or a mono camera for that. My guess is that if no IR cut filter is used then the sensitivity of the color cam would be pretty similar to a mono. I was wondering if a dash cam or a cheap wireless security cam that records motion and is good in low light could be used as a meteor cam too.
