      Thanks a lot Mark! New series will start on Monday. Today I'll show a special from an classic car expo that I visited 2 weeks ago. But I am creating these videos from time to time because I only took fotos and it are more than 500. So I sorted it a bit about brands and show it from time to time. So stay tuned ... it's not the last video, hehe.
      Have a great day, too!

      Thanks a lot Brian! And I really feel that you was loving this final episode here. I also had to include some of the previous highlights into the slide show. There were so many great cars on this event!

    The Alfetta is such a great looking car.
    Nice late XJS there and lovely Taunus also.

      The Alfetta is really amazing. Loving these old Alfas with their double headlamps. Looking so amazing!
      I totally like the black tail lights on this later XJS
      Ford Taunus is quite rare in my region. But I was lucky to get 3 or 4 of them in front of my camera.
      But it is also a regional thing like mentioned to one of your other comments. So Mercedes and Porsche is really popular as classic car over here because these were produced here in Stuttgart and close by. From a subscriber who unfortunately passed away in February I am remembering that at his region in North-Rhine Westphalica were Ford and Opel more popular than anything else.

      @@BFDdrives The XJS matured very well, although I do like the very early cars also.
      So Stuttgart is the place to go to see the most classic Mercedes-Benz and Porsche!

      Vielen lieben Dank Seven! Ich hatte am Ende in der Slide Show noch ein paar meiner Favoriten aus den vorherigen Episoden mit beigefügt, damit das Video nicht deutlich ungleich in der Länge war. Dachte mir aber auch, dass das als Recap sicher ein toller Abschluss der Reihe ist. Vielen Dank, dass du es mir so bestätigst! Ich wünsche dir noch ein schönes Rest-Wochenende! Ich arbeite gerade noch weiter an der übernächsten Reihe der Kimmich Open (wobei einzelne Slide Shows von der Retro Classics auch noch immer mal wieder zwischen rein kommen, aber ohne Priorität, sondern wohl verteilt weil ich dort über 500 Fotos geschossen hatte). Mal sehen wie das Wetter morgen wird, ob ich noch auf ein Oldie-Treffen gehe ... wird leider etwas unbeständig.

      @@SevenWelt Vielen Dank, hier regnet es und ist grau und momentan nur 12 °C. Ich denke ich werde heute statt dessen weitere Videos schneiden, aber mal sehen falls die Sonne raus kommt, kann ichs mir immer noch überlegen, aber soll wohl nur 2-3 Stunden zwischen 10-13 Uhr rum trocken sein.

    Really interesting Sven - another Torino, this time a coupe - and the Audi 80, badged as a CD which I don't think we got at that age - it was my GL with the rear headrests etc that was the UK equivalent I think.

    • @BFDdrives
      @BFDdrives  Месяц назад

      Hey Mike!
      It's amazing that I was seeing 4 (!) Torinos at this meet. Usually I can be happy to just see one but this time I was very lucky. So the Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino, then a Torino convertible and the sedan from the early 70s and then this coupe here ... so amazing!
      The CD was the best trim for the Audi 80 B2 over here since 1983. It was limited to the 5 cylinders 1.9L and 2.0L and also the 1.6L Turbo-Diesel. Unfortunately I don't know what extras it had. Perhabs it was the CC trim just limited to these engines. I read that there was also a CS trim that was only sold in Netherlands and Belgium. Some export models also had a really good trim - especially the US versions badged as Audi 4000 had much more stuff than our very basic ones in Europe. The headrests of the back seats were also something I noticed while editing the video. I don't have this in my pre-facelift Audi 80 GL. The CC trim was replacing the GL trim but obviously it had a bit more (even like the GL compared to the previous LS trim as I remember my very first car was the LS which still had the old sensitive seat covers).

      @@user-bj2gb4py3h Здорово, когда можно найти практически правильные оригиналы. Шигули также часто тюнингуют с другими мотоциклами. Хотя зачастую это выглядит вполне неплохо. Но оригинал есть оригинал.

    Think well have to call you the Torino hunter i have never seen so many lately.
    The MGB dates from around 71/72 based on the grille which only lasted for a limited period.
    Love the Orange Porsche.
    Nice Barracuda.
    The XJS you featured the other day just noticed the number i wonder if the named the number Leo (after leo the lion? Big Cat) XJ 95. Interesting.
    Great show Sven

    • @BFDdrives
      @BFDdrives  Месяц назад +1

      I was definately also amazed about the amount of Torinos at this event. Never seen more than one (if any!) at other classic car and US car meetings before. And this time even three or four generations (not sure if the convertible and the 4 door sedan were the same series since I forgot to film also the front of the sedan).
      The MGB is really wonderful. 1971/72 is also some time ago ... more than 50 years ... it's better in shape than I. And I'm a 1975er.
      The orange Porsche 911 is really looking great - also one of my highlights why I did also put it into the thumbnail (as same as the MGB Roadster and the Lada Shiguli - for unknown reason I like these old Ladas, too - but the Alfetta GT, the Citroen ID/DS and the Ford Capri were also one of the cars I was thinking about the front thumbnail from the video clips (not counting the fotos from the slideshow because it also included some of the highlights from the previous episodes of this show ... sometimes it's really a very hard decision - but it was even harder back when I only used one picture instead of 3 for the thumbnail).
      Yep, the XJS was already in a previous episode. I used some fotos from the previous episode so the video isn't too short compared with the others (and currently I notice it could have been no issue to only create these videos in 10 minutes of length because the weather on these Sundays are not as perfect to join the classic car shows with my Audi, now). About the license plate. The first 1-3 letters that appear in front of the two round stickers are the county. LEO stands for Leonberg - I was living there for some years. Actually it's the county of Böblingen but some of the licese plate of old counties which integrated with others are available to the citizen of these parts. LEO is definately a license plate I'd definately also pick for a Jaguar when living in that particular region.
      Thanks a lot for your comment Glyn! Loving these comments with so many parts to take a response. Have a nice rest of the weekend!

      @@BFDdrives Its a long (bank holiday weekend here Sat-Mon) so lots of people go out to make the most of the holiday weekend. I'm not going anywhere and have not booked any shows yet. I have found myself looking at Hot wheels in the shops recently is it something i should be worried about Dr Sven? Ha ha. Have a fine weekend my friend.

      @@TipTopMotors. Have a nice bank holiday my friend! I've a longer weekend as well - I decided to have off for Thursday and Friday. But I'm today also not going anywhere. The weather is not very stable and it's raining. Maybe 2-3 hours will be dry, but gray and cold. I'll better use that time to edit some more videos.
      Hehehe, oh well, you should be worried when you are also buying Hot Wheels especially whenever you are seeing new models and suddenly a big box is full. And if then you're saying you've to stop but simply buying another box to continue ... then it's worrying, hahaha. That's actually where I am, lol. My problem is that there's so much I like. On the other hand these aren't so expensive, I could also sell it without a big loss and perhabs even with profit - or giving it away to a kid or kindergarden to also feel well. Thinking about if one costs me € 1.60 while an 1/18 scaled model costs at least € 50 so I am also not too worried going bankrupcy for buying new Hot Wheels, hehe.
      Have a nice rest of the weekend as well.
