I'm in my first playthrough and realised the sculptor was the demon for a happy coincidence. Right before fighting it i got the Living force ability. In it's description it says: "The Sculptor retired the Shinobi Prosthetic after developing this technique. He'd gone too far, killed too many. The flames of hatred had begun to manifest..". Never pay attention to that before but it was clear as day. Then everything made sense: the merchant saying he left to the battlefield mumbling something about flames, the burned branch i used to rope on right outside the temple, the fact that he thanks you after killing him... Knowing that hit hard. My plan was fighting the demon and completely skip it if it was too hard but now i think i can't. Sekiro owns him that, i'll have to try. Your guide will be for sure my best resource for this. I know i'm 4 years late but thank you so much for putting this guides together. They really are the best

No one else slows things down like you do, to break down your opponent's moves, what to watch out for, and how to respond. It really gives players much-needed confidence. Before, it felt like all his attacks were random. Now I am able to see how I can react to left vs right hand attacks. We're on the same tune. At first, it's a lot of pressure and the boses seems to have unlimited moveset. You're more of a mousquito flying around than a wolf facing them. For exemple, how are you suppose to figure out what blow can be blocked from that fiery giant? I mean unless having you're ass handed to you enough times. But fuck it, what about the third phase? How fuck do you get?! having confidence when fighting makes you focus on how to attain victory, and it's all you need to persevere. Fuzzybarrbarian's video are the best sekiro's walkthrough. And dear God know they're helpfull.

Again, a wonderful guide. I was stuck here for an hour or so, but after learning how to deal with that 4 hit combo and cheese final phase with malcontent, I got this boss on the third try. This was really a battle of endurance for me. I could get him down to the 3rd phase more or less consistently, but got very few flasks left and died while trying to avoid 3 hit combo, or to his ranged attacks coming from the outside of the flame circle. Thanks a lot, man!

I was struggling bad, couldn't even barely get to phase 2. But I took your tips, and went into the fight trying to learn, instead if trying to win. Thanks to your analysis, I was able to anticipate all his moves in the first 2 phases and didn't get hit (except for a bs hitbox from his charge twice lol). Then I used the whistle and survived the rest! I used a Buddha statue, and a divine grass, but I did it first try!!! I am so grateful man, thank you!

Your guides for this game made me sub you. I wasn't into the SoulsBorne genre, I actually dropped BloodBorne as quick as this boss can kill you. Tried Sekiro because people said it is a bit different, and it really is, but I was still very wary. But your guides made me appreciate the game a lot, I soon got addicted, and now I can't stop playing! Defeated this beast today, now on to Isshin Sword Saint for the first clear, and on to NG+ to see how much better I became in older bosses! I am even considering giving BloodBorne, and other Souls like games, another go and try them with your guides as assistance! Thanks for the hard work!
You’ve got the bug now 😎 Definitely give BB another go. The Demon’s Souls remake is a good one too as it’s a bit easier than other souls games IMO, especially if you go with a magic character. Don’t sleep on some indie souls games either, there are some good ones like Ashen, which I loved. And of course we’re only months from the final release of Elden Ring, which I will be utterly immersed in without a doubt!
Great guide, one extra trick: at the beginning of phase 3 you can get very far from him and you will be OUTSIDE the ring of fire, which give better ways to avoid the follow up perilous attacks
Thank you very much for sharing this guide. I watched quite a few guides for this boss fight, and although they also analysed its attacks in detail, I think the way you presented them here, with the simple rule of 'if fire: umbrella, if other arm: deflect' was the breakthrough that helped me make progress on this fight and eventually clear it. Also, I think it's definitely worth it to stay in front, and learn to deflect, than try to keep on the back and get hits there, it might seem trickier, but I think it was worth learning to do it. I honestly thought I would be stuck in this boss but I managed it and it was really rewarding!
I finally ballsed up to fight the demon of hatred after seeing all those death vids, I have to say and this is without egotistical comment here because your guide 100000% paved the way to my understanding of the moves to watch out for, all but a few that I learned on my own because I took the fight in my own pace but after about 5 tries I killed him! Brother thank you so much for your invaluable guide! The level and detail of effort put into this is honestly hands down the best thing I've ever seen! Nice! It's a fun game, I was a bit tired of it after NG7+ but I don't do 7 runs of many games from start to finish with no damage, so yeah, one of my favs for sure!
Great guide man! Took forever… so discouraging when I made it to the final phase 4 times and got too greedy with the attacks and not using malcontent quick enough. What a relief lol
Maybe lost a little less to Genichiro (but not much less). It actually started becoming surreal fighting this one though, and after a while it felt more like a dance with an old friend (love how they did that somehow). When I finally started losing track of the health bars and zoned out, I got him.
@@michaelb2211 Yep. Once you get into the flow (they call it "Satori") it becomes effortless, even when it was previously extremely difficult. That's the zone I aim at for all the challenging stuff I play. It feels good man!

I couldn’t get out of his first stage without blowing through all ten of my healing gourds and not even getting him down to 50% health.... and here you are taking no damage... 🤦♂️lmao. This is a fantastic guide. I've completed every Fromsoft game since the 1st Dark souls. Every boss, and every game. This is the only time I've ever had to watch a boss guide. I didnt know what projected force actually did, and I couldn't figure out wtf to do for his perilous running attack. He killed me every time with that attack. I didn't even think to jump. (Face palm). Hes such a different speed than any other boss in Sekiro. More like bloodborne without the superior dodging ability from the player. . Difficult boss.
I reached this boss yesterday without the umbrella and I decided to practice as much as possible without spirit emblems. I could never survive the second phase long enough to learn any patterns 😅 Since I watched the your guide I except to beat this boss after a few more tries. Thank you!

I wasn't brave enough to use the sugar that halves your health, but even just with Ako's and the confetti he went down pretty easily. Using the Malcontent in the last phase was very cool. He's definitely the most 'Souls-esque' boss in the game, I think. Completely different from the others. Thanks again :)

@@fuzzybearbarian Got to stage three last night three times, so getting close. Lady Butterfly gave me the most fits so far in this game believe it or not. I think I have a "jump button palsy" of sorts. LOL My biggest issue with this guy is I can't get a block up in time for his stomps. It's like there's a built in delay for this fight or something. I'll attack, see a leg go up and instantly hold my block button. Unless I stop attacking before I see the leg raised up, I get squashed every time.
I watched a lot of guides during the last part of Sekiro. My wife would tell me I was cheating until she went up against Genichiro and realized that you still had to actually beat the boss. But I watched katiecakes in depth guide which helped, and cowboys guide to go over what I may have missed but your guides were simplified to where I understood what was coming and how to handle the mechanics. Your guides helped me so much I killed the demon of hatred in 7 tries with no previous experience in any soulsborne games other than ER.
I am pretty late, but I still gotta say this... Before I saw your guide, I was struggling so much. Last night while I searched the entirety of RUclips for guides, I found yours, and I decided to try your strat today...and might I say, I beat him first try! And at the end I still had 6-7 heals left (I took a couple of hits in phase 1) and 6 Spirit Emblems. Honestly, now I think I can defeat DoH pretty easily next time I fight him! I admit, some of it was RNG too, like, the Demon literally didn't do his body slam move at all in 1st phase (maybe because I finished him off quick?) which is why my Confetti buff was active throughout the phase. 2nd phase was obviously less RNG and more your recommendations of dodging (even though I dodged, I still got hit by his fucking dancing meteors (no idea what that move is called so), but wasn't too bad). I avoided his slap moves by running around him though, like, honestly didn't want to risk anything at all. 3rd phase he didn't even get to do anything!! I think maybe that's because I had 14 attack power while you had 12 at this point (I had beaten Isshin, and had left Demon for the last)(btw as a side note, I have no idea why I struggled more with DoH than Isshin, like, I honesty found Isshin so much easier), so with the Yashariku buff I was able to finish him off in the third whistle!! Honestly, now that I know how to fight him, I bet I'm gonna do much much better the next time I fight him (probably in NG+2 or like, at the gauntlets, since I'm planning Shura ending for NG+). I also beat tutorial Genichiro today, btw, with No Kuro's Charm. It was fun, and well, lets see how much of the game I can get easily through without Kuro's Charm...I'm sure to run into trouble at some point, but who knows? So big thank you to you friend. I honestly doubt I'd have been able to beat DoH without your breakdown of the boss. And I sure as hell wouldn't feel so comfortable doing it!! You definitely deserve more subs man. I mean, yes, for sure there's other people out there who have pretty neat strats too, but I honestly found your guide as the safest route to victory. Like, I almost did it no hit on NG!! That has to suggest that your guide was amazing!!

The only thing that I can see that's bad out of this video is that the follow up gets rid of your divine confetti but I'm just about to go into this boss and I'm doing as much research as I can before I attempt it. You have a great way of explaining things and I truly appreciate your help and I hope I can beat him in a few tries! Most cheeses are so tedious or making them fall off a cliff. If I pay $60 for a game I'm gonna beat the boss legitimate no matter how many tries it takes
@@sablemae8853 I love this. I feel the same way. The only time I ever cheesed a boss in any game was in Destiny with soloing some of the early Nightfalls where it was literally impossible to do it solo without cheese. God I hated doing that.

I just did it. I beat the demon and I didn't even use any buffs until phase 3 I use whistle plus yashariku. Could not have beaten him without this guide

Awesome guide, as usual! My tip is to run *immediately* to him once he jumps away. 9 out of 10 you'll make it in time and his fireballs will go over your head. Then you get 5+ safe wipes at his junk, because fireball combo is long. Worked for me in all three phases. That plus umbrella for his vertical jump attack pretty much makes this fight.
Holy sculptures..... that was one of the most messed up fight... Interestingly enough it was the only one messed up not because of the camera - it worked perfectly showing me sculptor's balls for 85% of the battle duration... I must admit, I got damn tired of tickling his balls. Enormous thanks for your guide... I got to 2nd phase myself after 30+ mins, but decided to see what else I'm missing... took me another 2 hours to finally beat him. Among the most painful aspects of the battle was: 1) Sekiro has troubles blocking after running... that becomes painful at times 2) that sudden grab move which he makes almost without telegraphing and also when you notice that Sekiro wouldn't be ready to block after a run 3) sometimes his charge attack doesn't have the sign\sound of perilous attack(after his combo) which really upsets me and when I tried to simply jump after every combo+umbrella - he would stomp me while I'm in the air(like WTF?) I ended up not using sugars\confetti.....mainly because it lasted me for like couple of hits with his jumping away and throwing tantrums... but also because I almost depleted them on this one. I also can't say it was a fight I enjoyed as it y any means was not a fair fight.....but pheew, thanks to you I was able to nail it and I guess that means that now, with your guides, I'll be able to finish the game :) Also last run got me into using bottle only once(apart from tango) in first 2 phases, which is an amazing result by my standards :)
@@fuzzybearbarian Yeah, I don't get that.... like if you want to cheese bosses... not smarty wiggle out their first life or finding approach that makes the fight much easier but using real mechanics - then you probably should avoid the game in the first place :) I mean it's a boss beating game mostly. Normal enemies don't give that much trouble and the number of areas filled with them is certainly low....I'd say lower than bosses number :( I liked Jedi FO in that aspect more as it managed to keep nice balance between bosses and areas with mobs while making areas with mobs challenging and interesting all while not being "stealth game" :) However yeah, shinobi kinda should be stealthy.... anyway, beating bosses is probably the main thing in the game. Although I certainly don't feel like giving it another round :D No sculptor's balls please, not again :D
Tbf this guide is awesome, obviously still takes a few tries (by a few probably like 30) but with the umbrella it feels a lot easier and then the 3rd phase with the yashakiro sugar and malcontent he doesn't even get a chance to attack you.

@@cosmicbilly Nope, I deliberately don't watch other guides when making my guides. I prefer to work stuff out myself, that's a part of the fun of playing the game for me. But also, I feel if I watched other guides I might end up just copying and not offering anything new to the community, whereas by trying to work it all out myself there's always a chance I'll discover something someone else hasn't and be able to help out even more. I read Reddit a bit though, so sometimes I accidentally learn things/spoilers ahead of time, which is a little unavoidable when you're trying to keep up with game stuff. But I do my best to avoid it wherever I can.
There are some attacks that are easy to dodge such as the one in which he swings his left arm over his head and he delivers a slam, so i do not reccommend using the umbrella on those attacks. Overall great video, a very well explained and detailed guide

I can beat all Soulsborne bosses easily … the most without taking any damage. But Owl Father and the Demon are so fucking hard… i had no chance without your guides. Thanks to you they are both dead now :)

I don't like that he's the Sculptor. I feel all kinds of wrong about it. Not quite as bad as being a villain and having to fight Emma, but not good either :/
An observation from my own fight today: In phase 2, he has a habit of following up the perilous charge with the wall of fire attack. I've had the unfortunate experience of dying to the charge and resurrecting straight into the wall of fire, dying again. So it's a good idea to be mindful of what he's about to do if you need to resurrect.
Up to this point the game taught me to deflect, deflect, deflect! Now suddenly I'm supposed to dodge, dodge, dodge! I've struggled with this game, this boss the most yet. Last night it just clicked and I finally beat him! What a great feeling! I'm glad I didn't cheese him. Now on to the last boss...
I personally feel Demon of Hatred is the hardest in the game. I think the boss you're about to do is the best fight in the game though. I had so much fun doing the Isshin fight.
This is a dark souls boss with bloodborne movement not Sekiro. I feel guilty cheesing him but justified. Although thinking about it makes me feel playing unlocked would've been easier.
Not sure if it's been said, but using Projected Force removes your Divine Confetti, so you're kind of wasting that consumable there coming right out the gate with PF. Otherwise great strats mate, good job!
Yes, that's true. It's only worth using for a fraction of extra damage right from the start, so if you are struggling with having divine confetti, don't waste it. I never struggled, I always had plenty, so using it wasn't an issue for me :)
thanks i got him first try cause of your detailed video and just with suzis umbrella, the wistle didnt worked out for me (maybe the timing was wrong) ❤️❤️❤️and i ve changed the strat a lil bit and instead of running away from his far attacks (the fire balls or inbefore his flame wall) i just run into him and got a lot of hits for free
Nice! Yep, running into him to evade the fireball attack is good if you get your timing down. The whistle probably didn't work for you because you might have been using it while he was in motion for an attack or something. It will only stagger him if you catch him in between attacks, while he's paused, or just after or before an attack of his.
Yeah, true, I probably should have mentioned that. That's why divine confetti is only of value at the start of each phase to get a tiny fraction more damage before you use the shield for the first time. I mean, you could apply it again later, but it's not really worth the time/effort to do so. Damn, there's always something to remember to explain!

Thx great vid. Learned his attacks. I just got to him. I’m struggling keeping emblems for 3rd phase-he’s been really defensive in phase 1-after I approach hit 4 times use the flame shield he backs off even after stunning, every time I approach him cycling through all his fire attacks. This has been issue for me. Could be missing a beat on the approach or somewhere along the line idk
He does an Attack i've never seen in any of Guides were he slams his RIGHT HAND, NOT THE BURNING ONE, on the Ground and i Don't know what to do about it.

I wasn't into the SoulsBorne genre, I actually dropped BloodBorne as quick as this boss can kill you. Tried Sekiro because people said it is a bit different, and it really is, but I was still very wary. But your guides made me appreciate the game a lot, I soon got addicted, and now I can't stop playing!
Defeated this beast today, now on to Isshin Sword Saint for the first clear, and on to NG+ to see how much better I became in older bosses!
I am even considering giving BloodBorne, and other Souls like games, another go and try them with your guides as assistance!

You’ve got the bug now 😎 Definitely give BB another go. The Demon’s Souls remake is a good one too as it’s a bit easier than other souls games IMO, especially if you go with a magic character. Don’t sleep on some indie souls games either, there are some good ones like Ashen, which I loved. And of course we’re only months from the final release of Elden Ring, which I will be utterly immersed in without a doubt!

Great guide, one extra trick: at the beginning of phase 3 you can get very far from him and you will be OUTSIDE the ring of fire, which give better ways to avoid the follow up perilous attacks

Thank you very much for sharing this guide. I watched quite a few guides for this boss fight, and although they also analysed its attacks in detail, I think the way you presented them here, with the simple rule of 'if fire: umbrella, if other arm: deflect' was the breakthrough that helped me make progress on this fight and eventually clear it. Also, I think it's definitely worth it to stay in front, and learn to deflect, than try to keep on the back and get hits there, it might seem trickier, but I think it was worth learning to do it. I honestly thought I would be stuck in this boss but I managed it and it was really rewarding!
I love how these guides never account for your nerves and adrenaline making you make a balls of things. But good guide, best one ive seen.
Best tip for nerves: don't have them. Get them surgically removed if possible.
I finally ballsed up to fight the demon of hatred after seeing all those death vids, I have to say and this is without egotistical comment here because your guide 100000% paved the way to my understanding of the moves to watch out for, all but a few that I learned on my own because I took the fight in my own pace but after about 5 tries I killed him! Brother thank you so much for your invaluable guide! The level and detail of effort put into this is honestly hands down the best thing I've ever seen! Now time to take on Isshin... guess who's guides I've been watching on how to beat this boss and get better? ;) Thank you once again Fuzzy!

Maybe lost a little less to Genichiro (but not much less). It actually started becoming surreal fighting this one though, and after a while it felt more like a dance with an old friend (love how they did that somehow). When I finally started losing track of the health bars and zoned out, I got him.
@@michaelb2211 Yep. Once you get into the flow (they call it "Satori") it becomes effortless, even when it was previously extremely difficult. That's the zone I aim at for all the challenging stuff I play. It feels good man!

Best guide compared to other guides, you did complete breakdown of every moveset. Thank you so much, I was able to beat hatred demon easily although it took a couple of tries but I was able to beat him.
This is a fantastic guide. I've completed every Fromsoft game since the 1st Dark souls. Every boss, and every game. This is the only time I've ever had to watch a boss guide. I didnt know what projected force actually did, and I couldn't figure out wtf to do for his perilous running attack. He killed me every time with that attack. I didn't even think to jump. (Face palm). Hes such a different speed than any other boss in Sekiro. More like bloodborne without the superior dodging ability from the player. . Difficult boss.

I wasn't brave enough to use the sugar that halves your health, but even just with Ako's and the confetti he went down pretty easily. Using the Malcontent in the last phase was very cool. He's definitely the most 'Souls-esque' boss in the game, I think. Completely different from the others. Thanks again :)

@@fuzzybearbarian Got to stage three last night three times, so getting close. Lady Butterfly gave me the most fits so far in this game believe it or not. I think I have a "jump button palsy" of sorts. LOL My biggest issue with this guy is I can't get a block up in time for his stomps. It's like there's a built in delay for this fight or something. I'll attack, see a leg go up and instantly hold my block button. Unless I stop attacking before I see the leg raised up, I get squashed every time.
He's toast...... One thing that really helped was not spamming anything. All deliberate button pushes and a ton of patience.

I watched a lot of guides during the last part of Sekiro. My wife would tell me I was cheating until she went up against Genichiro and realized that you still had to actually beat the boss. But I watched katiecakes in depth guide which helped, and cowboys guide to go over what I may have missed but your guides were simplified to where I understood what was coming and how to handle the mechanics. Your guides helped me so much I killed the demon of hatred in 7 tries with no previous experience in any soulsborne games other than ER.

I am pretty late, but I still gotta say this...
Before I saw your guide, I was struggling so much. Last night while I searched the entirety of RUclips for guides, I found yours, and I decided to try your strat today...and might I say, I beat him first try! And at the end I still had 6-7 heals left (I took a couple of hits in phase 1) and 6 Spirit Emblems. Honestly, now I think I can defeat DoH pretty easily next time I fight him! I admit, some of it was RNG too, like, the Demon literally didn't do his body slam move at all in 1st phase (maybe because I finished him off quick?) which is why my Confetti buff was active throughout the phase. 2nd phase was obviously less RNG and more your recommendations of dodging (even though I dodged, I still got hit by his fucking dancing meteors (no idea what that move is called so), but wasn't too bad). I avoided his slap moves by running around him though, like, honestly didn't want to risk anything at all. 3rd phase he didn't even get to do anything!! I think maybe that's because I had 14 attack power while you had 12 at this point (I had beaten Isshin, and had left Demon for the last)(btw as a side note, I have no idea why I struggled more with DoH than Isshin, like, I honesty found Isshin so much easier), so with the Yashariku buff I was able to finish him off in the third whistle!! Honestly, now that I know how to fight him, I bet I'm gonna do much much better the next time I fight him (probably in NG+2 or like, at the gauntlets, since I'm planning Shura ending for NG+). I also beat tutorial Genichiro today, btw, with No Kuro's Charm. It was fun, and well, lets see how much of the game I can get easily through without Kuro's Charm...I'm sure to run into trouble at some point, but who knows?
So big thank you to you friend. I honestly doubt I'd have been able to beat DoH without your breakdown of the boss. And I sure as hell wouldn't feel so comfortable doing it!! You definitely deserve more subs man. I mean, yes, for sure there's other people out there who have pretty neat strats too, but I honestly found your guide as the safest route to victory. Like, I almost did it no hit on NG!! That has to suggest that your guide was amazing!!

I have beat this game so many times but I have never had a no true death run and I am now one boss away from getting it done. Let's help sword saint doesn't beat me. I got this😅
During a perfect battle he can barely do anything special but if you take too long my god he sculpts you into his bitch. Thanks again Fuzzy, when I hear that familiar aussie accent I know everything will be okay. Dissecting the videos like this has really made me appreciate the combat too.

Took me 4 days to before to fight him. After watching this guide, it only took me 3 tries last night. The malcontent on phase 3 was really useful!
The only thing that I can see that's bad out of this video is that the follow up gets rid of your divine confetti but I'm just about to go into this boss and I'm doing as much research as I can before I attempt it. You have a great way of explaining things and I truly appreciate your help and I hope I can beat him in a few tries! Thank you again for this video and wish me luck!!! =)
P.S.- He staggers every time a ⅓ of his health drops, for future attempts, videos, and for anyone else stuck on him. =)

Most cheeses are so tedious or making them fall off a cliff. If I pay $60 for a game I'm gonna beat the boss legitimate no matter how many tries it takes
@@sablemae8853 I love this. I feel the same way. The only time I ever cheesed a boss in any game was in Destiny with soloing some of the early Nightfalls where it was literally impossible to do it solo without cheese. God I hated doing that.

That's a very good overview, thank you! I try beating him without the umbrella, and have all the moves down, except for the slash-slash-stop-slowslash… I'll try practicing the left dodge, as you've shown. Or cave a switch to umbrella - I need to learn using the prosthetics at some point :)
I can do no damage him without the umbrella, but I just find using the umbrella to be so much fun in this fight that I use it no matter what ;)

I just did it. I beat the demon and I didn't even use any buffs until phase 3 I use whistle plus yashariku. Could not have beaten him without this guide

Awesome guide, as usual! My tip is to run *immediately* to him once he jumps away. 9 out of 10 you'll make it in time and his fireballs will go over your head. Then you get 5+ safe wipes at his junk, because fireball combo is long. Worked for me in all three phases. That plus umbrella for his vertical jump attack pretty much makes this fight.

Holy sculptures..... that was one of the most messed up fight... Interestingly enough it was the only one messed up not because of the camera - it worked perfectly showing me sculptor's balls for 85% of the battle duration... I must admit, I got damn tired of tickling his balls. Enormous thanks for your guide... I got to 2nd phase myself after 30+ mins, but decided to see what else I'm missing... took me another 2 hours to finally beat him. Among the most painful aspects of the battle was:
1) Sekiro has troubles blocking after running... that becomes painful at times
2) that sudden grab move which he makes almost without telegraphing and also when you notice that Sekiro wouldn't be ready to block after a run
3) sometimes his charge attack doesn't have the sign\sound of perilous attack(after his combo) which really upsets me and when I tried to simply jump after every combo+umbrella - he would stomp me while I'm in the air(like WTF?)
I ended up not using sugars\confetti.....mainly because it lasted me for like couple of hits with his jumping away and throwing tantrums... but also because I almost depleted them on this one. I also can't say it was a fight I enjoyed as it y any means was not a fair fight.....but pheew, thanks to you I was able to nail it and I guess that means that now, with your guides, I'll be able to finish the game :) Also last run got me into using bottle only once(apart from tango) in first 2 phases, which is an amazing result by my standards :)
Nice one! I think it's arguable that Demon of Hatred is the hardest boss in the game, beating him is a no mean feat (a lot of people cheese him!).
@@fuzzybearbarian Yeah, I don't get that.... like if you want to cheese bosses... not smarty wiggle out their first life or finding approach that makes the fight much easier but using real mechanics - then you probably should avoid the game in the first place :) I mean it's a boss beating game mostly. Normal enemies don't give that much trouble and the number of areas filled with them is certainly low....I'd say lower than bosses number :( I liked Jedi FO in that aspect more as it managed to keep nice balance between bosses and areas with mobs while making areas with mobs challenging and interesting all while not being "stealth game" :) However yeah, shinobi kinda should be stealthy.... anyway, beating bosses is probably the main thing in the game. Although I certainly don't feel like giving it another round :D No sculptor's balls please, not again :D

Tbf this guide is awesome, obviously still takes a few tries (by a few probably like 30) but with the umbrella it feels a lot easier and then the 3rd phase with the yashakiro sugar and malcontent he doesn't even get a chance to attack you.

@@cosmicbilly Nope, I deliberately don't watch other guides when making my guides. I prefer to work stuff out myself, that's a part of the fun of playing the game for me. But also, I feel if I watched other guides I might end up just copying and not offering anything new to the community, whereas by trying to work it all out myself there's always a chance I'll discover something someone else hasn't and be able to help out even more. I read Reddit a bit though, so sometimes I accidentally learn things/spoilers ahead of time, which is a little unavoidable when you're trying to keep up with game stuff. But I do my best to avoid it wherever I can.
There are some attacks that are easy to dodge such as the one in which he swings his left arm over his head and he delivers a slam, so i do not reccommend using the umbrella on those attacks.

I can beat all Soulsborne bosses easily … the most without taking any damage. But Owl Father and the Demon are so fucking hard… i had no chance without your guides. Thanks to you they are both dead now :)

I don't like that he's the Sculptor. I feel all kinds of wrong about it. Not quite as bad as being a villain and having to fight Emma, but not good either :/
An observation from my own fight today: In phase 2, he has a habit of following up the perilous charge with the wall of fire attack. I've had the unfortunate experience of dying to the charge and resurrecting straight into the wall of fire, dying again. So it's a good idea to be mindful of what he's about to do if you need to resurrect.

Up to this point the game taught me to deflect, deflect, deflect! Now suddenly I'm supposed to dodge, dodge, dodge! I've struggled with this game, this boss the most yet. Last night it just clicked and I finally beat him! What a great feeling! I'm glad I didn't cheese him.
Now on to the last boss...
I personally feel Demon of Hatred is the hardest in the game. I think the boss you're about to do is the best fight in the game though. I had so much fun doing the Isshin fight.

This is a dark souls boss with bloodborne movement not Sekiro. I feel guilty cheesing him but justified. Although thinking about it makes me feel playing unlocked would've been easier.

Not sure if it's been said, but using Projected Force removes your Divine Confetti, so you're kind of wasting that consumable there coming right out the gate with PF. Otherwise great strats mate, good job!
Yes, that's true. It's only worth using for a fraction of extra damage right from the start, so if you are struggling with having divine confetti, don't waste it. I never struggled, I always had plenty, so using it wasn't an issue for me :)
thanks i got him first try cause of your detailed video and just with suzis umbrella, the wistle didnt worked out for me (maybe the timing was wrong) ❤️❤️❤️and i ve changed the strat a lil bit and instead of running away from his far attacks (the fire balls or inbefore his flame wall) i just run into him and got a lot of hits for free
Nice! Yep, running into him to evade the fireball attack is good if you get your timing down. The whistle probably didn't work for you because you might have been using it while he was in motion for an attack or something. It will only stagger him if you catch him in between attacks, while he's paused, or just after or before an attack of his.

Yeah, true, I probably should have mentioned that. That's why divine confetti is only of value at the start of each phase to get a tiny fraction more damage before you use the shield for the first time. I mean, you could apply it again later, but it's not really worth the time/effort to do so. Damn, there's always something to remember to explain!

Should mention if you use the projected force while divine confetti is up, the divine confetti goes away. So you shouldn’t use it while you have it up

I’m struggling keeping emblems for 3rd phase-he’s been really defensive in phase 1-after I approach hit 4 times use the flame shield he backs off even after stunning, every time I approach him cycling through all his fire attacks. This has been issue for me. Could be missing a beat on the approach or somewhere along the line idk
