This is why I don’t organize by color-I would wake up in the middle of the night to move that one that’s actually yellow and the other that’s definitely blue.
It’s so funny because sometimes I pull a polish out and think, why did I put it here? But then when I try to put it in another drawer, it looks more like it belongs in the other drawer.
Love all those shades of green. The pastels are so perfect for spring. Decluttering seven that you don't want is great; now you have room for seven new polishes! TFS! 💚
lol yes! My hope is to be able to tweak some reorganization. Sometimes a polish won’t fit in one drawer so it ends up in the next. I’d like to be able to have a bit of breathing room.

You’ve mentioned that you don’t like the brushes on the LA color polishes a few times. Have you ever thought about pouring the polish into one of your own bottles? This way you could still use the polish you like but with a better brush/bottle.
I have. But that requires a lot of money for $1 polishes. I have put kbshimmer brushes in a couple of them and they fit but I think they may be too long
Idk if you know this already, but there is another youtuber called "nerdlovesnails", who about 2 months ago did a video of some LA Colors replacement brushes she found on alie express. The video is super informative on replacement brushes in general. And she links the brushes she bought. Because of her, I bought those replacement brushes as well. And super cheap too! 120 brushes for under $6 including shipping!
I would love to see all the green with shimmers (just swatch pictures) next to each other! I think there was at least one dupe, though I can’t be sure because cameras don’t pick up all the nuances of the shimmers

Great work, Jackie! So hard to declutter favourite colour ranges… I’m completely impressed that you were able to reduce by this many. As collectors, there are strong reasons why we choose to make our purchases to begin with, so letting go (especially when it comes to a favourite colour) is a daunting task, for sure! Keep up the good the amazing progress! 💚

I’ve already started doing round two of the previous drawers and have pulled out around 20 more so far (of all the colors) I’ll share those in the final episode!
I thought my Essie Blossom Dandy had a better formula than MCA and I’ve had my blossom dandy for way longer. IDK what it is. But I’m about ready to declutter MCA, again 😅

@NurseJackie2582 Yes, they are smaller/shorter brushes than kbshimmer. Which makes sense since actual kbshimmer brushes won't fit LA Colors bottles.

I think the older Essies all had iffy formulas to begin with! I never understood the hype until a few years ago and now they have much nicer formulas.
