I personally feel like many nail polish youtubers buy way too much polish. They declutter and then buy more polish that looks the same as the stuff that was decluttered. It creates so much garbage when the viewers do the same. I love nail polish but I only own around 40 and I don't declutter. I use them up and replace them when my stock gets low.

Very true! We all have our own hobbies, opinions and lifestyle. I spend my money one way, you spend it another way. I will say though, my hobby and the amount of polish I have should not have an effect on you.
That is so wild how polishes can look the same in the bottle and so different once they are swatched! That gets me every time, LOL! It is nice to see the difference! It must all be in the formula. I am excited to see the next declutter because turquoise/teals are my fav colors! 😊
It IS crazy how they look the same in the bottle but different on the nails! Wait until you see my dark blue drawer when I do all of the blue/purple sparkly night sky polishes 🤣

Thank you! Some people get silly about other peoples declutters. I used to watch a bunch of eyeshadow palette declutters and it was crazy how angry people got in the comments. I thankfully don’t get nasty comments but I still get judgey comments. Ooooo you were able to get open toad shoes! If the formula is a little thick (because it’s old!) add some nail polish base, not thinner, and it will restore it!
Prugly polishes are my favorite, so I'm honestly surprised i dont have more 😂 I do; however, have 2 green drawers, 4 drawers for Turquoise/teal/blues and at least 4 drawers for purples 🙈😂
I love your hairstyle Jackie. Decluttering „just“ one polish means to me that you really shopped well and know what you love. And doesn‘t owning a big collection comes with the territory of enjoying this hobby for many years? I consider this more of „curating a collection“ and I love your series. I am familiar though with the frustration over untrieds

I do get discouraged with the untireds but that’s why I want to get rid of what I don’t love. Some people just don’t seem to understand. I’m not trying to cut my collection in half. I’m in a better place now and realize that I really shouldn’t care what strangers think. But not gonna lie, no one likes to be judged.

Thank you!! 😊 My hair has been getting straighter and straighter over the last couple years so I never wear it down because the roots and halfway down are straight with only wavy ends. So it looks better pulled up with the wavy bits hanging down 🤣 I’ve had too many polish regrets myself which is why I’m sometimes hesitant to declutter something
