    Above the age of consent or not they are still a student of yours and you have a power over them as their teacher that you can use to manipulate them. I was in college in my early twenties and if I slept with one of my professors it would still be inappropriate for the same reason.

      Rocky Horror Picture Show is a great movie, never been to a theater performance of it though, but I doubt the rate isn’t any higher than anything else, you just choose for some reason to hyper focus on it specifically.

    around october 2019 i saw smth online about people overseas getting severely ill and i remember having this awful feeling that something bad was going to happen, that this illness was going to reach my country sooner or later. if i saw it coming then i truly believe that governments around the world knew about c0vid19 waaay before it was declared a global health emergency in march 2020 + before the first reported case in december 2019 and they CHOSE not to do anything about it (my theory is they wanted business to continue as usual because we live in a capitalist society)

      I admittedly don’t know where you are from, but it wasn’t quite like that all over. I know that in the U.S., it was noted early on, but a lot of our politicians like to fight over everything. I can still remember, at least around January of 2020, that then President Trump was trying to block flights from and to China and some people other places to help stop the spread, but opposing politicians just wanted to play games and called him Xenophobic and racist. Every step of the way they fought him, and then when he lost power they not only did a 180, they took it to new lengths. Not praising or condemning either side, but I wanted to point out that in the U.S., our politics is an obvious mess, and although I never have managed to properly stay in touch with the news, that article stays on my mind. Honestly, hiding the news likely had less to do with keeping businesses open than as another card to play in their political game.

    when i was around 7ish, me and my brother used to stay overnight at our grandparent's house pretty often. we were both very scared of the room that we slept in, and every time both of us stayed there, we would either run down to my grandparents room or just all sleep in their bed because of how scared we were. so my grandma would sleep with us in a separate bed, closer to the door. also fyi, my grandparents live 7 houses away from me. one day, me, my mum, brother and grandma were going to my holiday house, and my mum asked me if my brother and i wanted to stay at my grandparents house on the friday night, and go there saturday, or drive up on friday night. obviously me and my brother chose to go up on friday night, because we were petrified of that room and literally avoided it as much as we could. anyways it gets to saturday and we're all up at my holiday house, its like 8-10am, and my grandpa calls us. he tells us to get home as soon as we could (we were only an hour away). we got to my grandparents house and walked into our room, the roof had completely caved in, which would've killed all 3 of us. the roof was on a slant and there was a beam in the middle of the roof. there was a gap between the beam and the roof growing for months and it just collapsed. i remember walking in and seeing that there was debris on me and my brothers bed, it had literally ricocheted off the walls and would've hit us, and my grandmas bed was completely covered with debris. so glad that we never slept in that room. this was around 8-9 years ago.

    2:41 This story just fees off to me. You mean to tell me that you and many others could tell that there would soon be serious supply chain and inflation issues, but none of you shared this, and yet you are still going to complain about the system being broken? If you really could predict what was going to happen but didn’t share this news, then you are literally a part of the problem that you are complaining about. If you shared this with others, then you have every right to complain, but if you kept the news to yourself like the system you despise, then how exactly are you supposed to be any better, or even remotely different?

    • @tyranthet-rex8198
      @tyranthet-rex8198 6 месяцев назад +8

      1. Who would have believed them that could actually do anything? It would be like if your employee came in talking about how they predicted the world ending. They'd be declared uncredible at the workplace at best, and put in a psych ward at worst. In this system, I'd be surprised if the upper management even listened to the employees, even moreso if they actually tried to work against it and 2. The horrible system is the reason it was never talked about. We shouldn't rely on supply chain professionals to risk the above point in order to tell us that our livelihood is going to change for the worse and hope that it reaches the government and they talk about it. The *government* is set in place to protect us and inform us of these things, and they failed

    • @Jacob-he3sn
      @Jacob-he3sn 6 месяцев назад

      @@tyranthet-rex8198 1. That is quite the hyperbole. Comparing news of coming inflation and supply chain issues to news about the end of the world is quite the stretch, not only in scale of how bad each is, but also the situations are radically different. Do you know what a supply chain professional even is? I myself had to look it up, so I’m curious if you have. Here is the beginning of what I found:
      “Supply chain professionals, such as supply chain specialists and managers, work in many industries to ensure that products are available at the right time and place. Their responsibilities can include: *Planning and forecasting. * Predicting supply and demand trends to ensure the right products are available
      You know what that means? It means it would literally place them well within the system that was supposed to alert others about the incoming trouble. Also, it’s not like some random employee came into work going off about the end of the world (something that had been claimed many times over the past few decades but never happened). It is literally a part of this person’s job (a highly trained and skilled professional mind you) to predict supply and demand trends, and supply chain and inflation issues are far from modern problems, they’ve existed throughout our known history. Saying that we’re about to have some more is hardly comparable to saying that something that’s never happened before is about to happen for the first time ever.
      2. Do you really think the government runs the whole economy and everything else? Don’t get me wrong, some part of the government absolutely should have noticed, predicted, and informed the public of the trend, there is no denying this. However, the government doesn’t run the whole economy, they don’t manage all of the stores and businesses, and they don’t have everyone working for them. They can make rules and regulations for the businesses within their domain and indirectly influence the economy, but they can’t and don’t actively run and manage the whole economy. There are many professions that run tangentially with, directly with, or parallel to the government, but remain independent of it. The OP of this story has such a role, although who they work for is unknown.
      3. I want to point out again that OP is essentially either a specialist or a manager, whose role includes helping to predict supply chain issues and preventing them from occurring. The inflation that follows would go hand in hand, and while it technically isn’t their job to predict it, if it is coming with something like supply chain issues then it’s worth mentioning. It is literally their job to warn whoever they work for about these issues. They claim they and so many others saw such issues coming months in advance, but none of them reported said issues, and are blaming the system that they are essentially a part of (if not outright a part of if they are a specialist working for the government) because the public had no warning about the thing they are paid to help predict.

    • @amateurflor13
      @amateurflor13 6 месяцев назад +2

      yeah idk what blaming the workers would do. they could've very easily talked about it with people and got ignored. but even so, what are they supposed to do? environmentalists have talked about us needing to be more green for yearsssss and still barely get listened to/people don't take them seriously. sure, he could've tried extremes like some of them do, e.g., throwing food n stuff at encased art in museums, but then they'll also have criticism for doing something safe to spread a message. the u.s. govt knew 100% and just didn't do its job prior to the pandemic, AT ALL. some officials even convinced people it wasn't a big deal or a hoax. idk what this worker could do🤷🏾‍♀️ not being hostile just saying genuinely it's a bit weird to put the stakes on this guy opposed to the entire governing body of a country

      @Jacob-he3sn 6 месяцев назад +2

      @@amateurflor13 I had made a reply to the other person explaining this more in depth, but RUclips got rid of it despite no problematic language. 🤷‍♂️
      Anyways, the short version of it is that he’s not some average worker. If you look up what a supply chain professional is, you can see that they largely if not exclusively consist of well trained specialists and managers with various tasks, one of which is to literally predict supply and demand trends. Predicting and trying to deal with/account for future supply chain issues is literally a part of this person’s job, and they said they and many others in their field saw this coming. That’s why this feels off- so many professionals in higher up positions supposedly could easily see this coming, but they all stayed back and watched it happen, and then this person complains about the system not doing anything, when it seems to me that he is literally a part of said system. Whether they’re business side or government side I’m not sure, but either way, they are a part of the group of professionals literally meant to look out for this kind of thing.

    How are you dooing sweetie? How are you feeling? In the very first story, she is just the worst because not only was she cheating she got knocked up by one of those blokes too. I seriously hope he divorced her right then and there on the spot. In the second story, that mom is the stuppid one for trying to deny something that her 8 year old child already knew. In the third story, most addicts just can't kick or stop their bad habit no matter what. I lost my Auntie about 7 years ago due to throat cancer because she just wouldn't stop smoking. My mom actually got mad at me because I was pleading and begging with my Auntie to stop smoking. In the fourth story, see women can also be pedos too. This is the biggest double standard in the world and really this sh*t just needs to stop. Unfortunately some of these women pedos get away with their because the system will say that "they're just way to beautiful to go to jail" that is a huge load of crapp if I ever heard it. In the fifth story, well technically he was right because he hasn't been with any other woman but her, but she never said anything about a man though. That just has to be so completely ackward. In the sixth story, the government here in America is just so corrupt because they will try to cover up or hide very important information from the people until it gets very serious. I remember when covvid first began people were going stark crazy buying up all of the water, food, and for some reason the toilet paper too here in America. It's was completely wild!! In the seventh story, now if anybody else would've said this to their dates then they probably would've gotten cussed, hung up on, and blocked too. In the eighth story, so the main protagonist was right all along to be suspicious about Brian. In the ninth story, he was just so in love with her that he just didn't want to believe his gut feeling and so he kept trying to downplay the whole situation in his brain. In the tenth story, so basically he scammed you out of a whole lot of money, and I don't blame you at all here. I love you my friend!! Have a great day!! Stay safe beautiful!!
