I have been using Batana oil for nearly a decade and I do not wash it out until it is wash day. Unless you have straight, fine hair then it can certainly be left in. Everyone should observe what their hair prefers and stick to that. You have beautiful hair and you did a great job of explaining. ❤

Seborrhea dermatitis is actually a fungus. It has nothing to do with dry scalp. It’s an overproduction of oil in the scalp or wherever the breakouts happen which leads to fungus it’s not dry scalp. Some heavy oils will help with the issue. The best thing you can do is keep the area clean. I have it and so does my daughter. We are currently trying to change our diet to assist…Like low sugar and dairy intake.
When I cut out sugar and dairy and ate clean for 21 days was the best my scalp ever looked and feel. So you are on the right track. As soon as I returned to my old eating habits it came back
I keep my natana oil in. Theough my scalp to the ends of my hair. My hair is so thick and long. 4bc texture and all natural. It really helps with split ends. I will do a dusting, because natural hair does not grow even. Thanks to batama, I do not have to dust offen. The key is consistency and you will see results
I bought some in January of 2024 and my hair grew 5-6in. I do not do anything but wear plats. I’ve just put some in my hair in July. I will only comb it out and wash it, some time soon. My hair grows well in humidity. I’ll be clipping my ends, also. My ends are wrecked. It torture what they look like. I get scissor happy on my own hair.😂

That happened to me too. Got a brand called Eelhoe which isn't 100 percent pure. From what I hear there are fake ones so I ordered mine from The Alkaline Brand website, which is pure and sourced directly from the Honduras.
