Canadian Military Pattern trucks. Built by Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge. Canada produced more trucks than the entire Axis, USSR, and UK combined. These trucks equipped all Allied armies, and were part of the reason why by the end of the war the Canadian Army was the most mechanized army in the world, with 1 vehicle for every 3 personnel.
Please share me your truck photos if possible. I had driven this trucks in 1978.but unfortunately I can't saved images. It was best memory of my life even today some time it cames in my dreams also.
@@JamesPhieffer There is a registration book of model 1941, clearly written of England. Maybe Britain in their time in Indian subcontinent brings these truks on their country named.
My brother Stephen used to have a Ford F60 CMP truck and the email address Bigtruckman - he passed away last month, not sure if he ever saw this video.
CMP trucks; designed in the UK, built in Canada (all RHD). Not sure why you call them BLITZ TRUCK. "Blitz Buggy" was a WW2 slang term for just about any small wheeled vehicle.
I had used and drive this truck
Very Very heart touched in 1978 my life first truck purchase at poona military auction by my dad

They weren't made in Britain. Designed and manufactured in Canada (with a small number apparently assembled in Australia from Canadian parts).
