In a previous post, you Mr Graves, said: "I don't have as much breath as I used to" well that may be true, but you sir have class, and that does not go away with the years. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
I'm guessing the People listening to you are players, mainly because they understand the uniqueness of your music and how hard it is to become a true master of the sound :) Hooked and inspired.
@Jazzznbluezzz1 Hello Sir: I have played with many local bands in my lifetime, some name, but not many, as you have to travel. I play a 1935 Conn, and also a 1941 Conn, sometime I play a Mark VII selmer, but I prefer the conn. The otto link mp is a four or five year old 7 Star, that I bought new. I like the LaVoz reeds the best. I am now 86 years old and I don't have as much breath as I used to , but I try. Thanks for ;your comment. A.J. Graves
I can get away from your sounds man, i wish you were close to where i leave, you, will be my pal, your music is ispirational and the sound of your horn bring back memory, thanks for your input.Vincent
Vous me donnez un énorme courage Mr Graves...mais votre effrayante facilité de jeu me semble tellement impossible à égaler!!!....Et pourtant, je continue à espérer, je ne renoncerai pas.... MERCI POUR TOUT !!!
Mr. Graves, Thank you very much for your reply. I am playing saxophone for almost 25 years and I listen a lot to other Conn tenor players but you just have THE tone and playing style I am striving for. I hope you keep posting other great recordings.
Wonderful rendition. One of my favorites to play on my very old King tenor sax, although not at your skill level. I would love to hear your version of I'll be seeing you and/or Summertime. Thank you.
Amazing playing Mr.Graves! This is what it is really all about! Please tell me you are a pro musician! I happen to play an old Conn myself. However my tone is different. I know it mostly about the player but what year 10M do you play? And is it a modern New York Link you use?
Idiot. Have watched and listened to you playing sax, mate you are a rank amateur compared to Mr Graves. You have decades of practice to do before you even get to 10% of Mr Graves' talent.

Such accomplished music, played with such ease. You were as good as the best of them. Thank you Aubra for leaving us this magical treasure.
I'm a 72 y/o sax player and when I grow up I wanna play just like you!! WOW!
