Great video as always. Not sure if I should be mad at you or thank you. I'm about a year away from being done with my current Europa XS project and am already thinking about my next project. I was never interested in helicopters, mostly due to the associated cost of these machines and maintenance BUT ever since I watched your first video on Rotorway/X, I can't seem to stop thinking about their helicopter. What makes it even harder to ignore this is that I live only a 20 min drive away from RotorX HQ. That is a game changer for me. So close to the factory and support. So THANK YOU for your videos on the RotorX models and at the same time, I and my wallet hate you for it. :)
Hard to believe I know, last year I had a Exec 162F given to me by a very nice older couple! I have never flown a helicopter as all my training was in fixed wing. Would like to get some training and fly it one day. Only has 30 something hours on it, but sat for a while. My real dream is to get the new Aventura UL, as I had to sell both my planes while renovating our house. Nice little heli and hope the company keeps up with it as I’ll be ordering some belts and other parts soon enough.
Just wanted to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your channel, been watching it for awhile now, as a fixed wing pilot and career A&P it’s nice coming to a channel and seeing all the experimental aircraft options in one spot…..however I am leaning toward wanting to get into helos, my career in aviation started with working on army UH-60s for 4 years…..I know the experimental rotor world is a lot slimmer than the fixed wing world, but I love the helicopter content and hope u have more to come! Thanks Hansen
glad i watched this video, i have a older scorpion 133 been a while since i was in the air. the exe or talon 600 must be a good design because it is not being changed at this time. i rate the design next to the bell Airwolf design. would love to have one even if it is an older design 162. even thought about up grading my 133 if possible. will be going to the factory asap to visit. again thanks for the video. you have my interest and support.
Living in Mesa Arizona, I’ve long been intrigued with our having a ‘local’ helicopter company in the valley. These are very good looking aircraft. I’m very interested in your engine. I assume it’s very reliable, reasonably lightweight and economical to maintain and repair. Have you considered offering a version of it for experimental fixed wing aircraft?
I'm a senior researcher at Heimkeeper Co., Ltd. Our company has an idea to reduce propeller noise and vibration of helicopters and drones. We're done with the experiment. We have applied for a utility model and a patent As a result of several experiments with small propellers, the current noise and vibration reduction effect is about 30%.Looking forward good news from you soon
I have A&P and 18 years as an AH-64 maintenance supervisor. Would I be able to deal with the maintenance myself? Just curious, as I hear there are constant adjustments and parts Replacements.
Has Rotorway updated their tail rotor drive system? Got away from the belt drive system and went with a driveshaft system? I like the Heli-cycle aircraft.
The guy dragging his skids may need to rethink that 6:30. I would never recommend moving while dragging skids. Just a little bit of momentum can cause a dynamic rollover. Looking hard at this airframe to purchase.
Perhaps you should review dynamic rollover. It was standard practice in Vietnam to “skid” along the PSP in our Cobra that was loaded to the max with fuel and armament to get airborne. Dynamic rollover results from lateral movement or attempting to land on a slope that is too steep.
Almost feels like they have more money than sense and just decided to scoop up what seemed like a good business opportunity and worry about the details later

Cut the 4 rotor / evtol nonsense. Focus on what the company has been doing best and keep improving steadily. This whole evtol hype will deflate sooner or later, don't fall for it.
yeah,it looks like a vertical v dub....serious bunch that can cast their own engine ! should have seen B J's " Windstar " 4 door ! 5 blade main,4 blade tail rotor,6 cylinder, solid rocket fuel backup for engine failure, crt screen with 10 point audio checklist....Never made it into production but it was to be factory assembled ,certified aircraft for 150,000 without avionics....Door slammed like a little Mercedes ! He had Offenhauser design the trans and hired the crew that certified the Bell 206 ! We were # 66 in line to be produced after they reached 100 orders.......Company folded......
Yeah... all those piston powered Bell 47's are just ...crashing right after they get built, that why none survive after the last one was manufactured in 1974 - almost a half century ago.. Oh, wait. That's NOT the case.

Awesome video I did like to see and meet the RotorX team after dealing with them over many years and putting names to faces.

When will it come into market?

@@markwallis7199 good point…

Dang, now I have to get a Helicopter too!... Congrats.... 100K Subscribers! Yee Haww!
That would do very well in the STOL Comps now wouldn't it?!!
YES! Still growing here. Thanks to your support! :-)
How does it get a turbo and require less maintenance 🤔
10:15 How could you not put Suicide Is Painless on the audio track right here???

Yes
I once built my own picnic table…
I’ll stay on the ground.
I had a Tonka truck as a child. Totally awesome.
Wow.. enak ya disana orang bebas memiliki dan menerbangkan helicopter , kyk mobil aja...
What got me is when he said let's step over to the Airplane and no one corrected him! B j Shram probably just shaking his head!!
I heard an old fixed-wing pilot say "Helicopters don't fly, they just beat the air into submission."
As an Ex-Army Guard Crew Chief on an LUH-72 Lakota (EC 145) . . . Can confirm.
A Thousand Moving Parts Trying to Kill You!
An "oldie" but a goodie. The other one I like, "a helicopter is simply a bunch of parts flying in a loose formation."
So is a helicopter pilot just someone who likes to beat off into submission?
yep,
I miss BJ Schram..In Chandler
That warbird engine that flew overhead ?? any ideas?

I was taught to do that in training, it's normal.
Probably the only helicopter I’ll be able to afford tho
Have you done a comparison, Talon T600 or Safari 400?
Those 3 people do NOT emote even a medium sense of confidence in their product! Sorry, but they don't seem to know much of anything for 100% certain.
Yeah, they are'nt as sharp as the origional crew when Stretch was there....

A turbine option will be better.
Again, the host answers his own questions.
Giant VW engine with turbo?
Nah, fit it with a 747 engine, and see it go.

It's a licensed variant of a VW engine with rights to modify and rebrand.
If they got rid of that fiberglass and replaced it with carbon fiber. That would make a lot more power with a lot less weight.
I meant to say power to weight ratio
SAFARI HELICOPTER HAS A MODEL CALLED THE Ssfsri 500 all carbon fiber
My Mom bought me a helicopter when I was a kid.

Really UNINSPIRING Group Of "new owners"
I just got pilots licence to fly planes.next on the list is a licence to fly 1 of these rotoways.
Just a Bunch Rich men and there Expensive Rich TOY,s
I had a rotorway, just to small for the average north American, unpleasant to fly cramped up.
new owner and new brand! and NO customer service
They are nothing more than a Rich mans Toys $112,000.00
It's just another Rice man's Toy
If the helicopter doesn't have a turbine, I ain't a flyin' it! Too unsafe.

i dont like this, ch77 is a much better choice
That bird in the middle is hot
Should have taken the opportunity to reverse the main rotor direction to make it an American helicopter.
And sit on the other side too?
