Japanese engineering in the house! I worked for a large Japanese manufacturer for 5 years- they are masters in engineering and give the Germans and USA a run for their money!
So why in hells name do they make so many different modifications every single year on motorbikes that have no benefits other than force you to keep buying a new one instead of repairing it. Absolutely ridiculous
So refreshing to see a high capacity drone helicopter built with ICE by Kawasaki. I had no idea what is the H2R until I looked it up. I am an ex-rider for decades.
the range on ev powered flight ✈️ under loads significantly reduces flight time. Look at the Ford’s failed lightning. Fully optioned out pulling a bumper pull camper matching the trucks ability got only 80 miles. Not very practical when there are no charging stations near by. Ford should have included a small v-8 as means to charge the battery and continue to run the electric motor. let’s say 50 gallon fuel tank. Or big propane tank filled at any filler spot.
because i’m glad it’s not battery powered. Range/lift/cargo. isn’t ready for prime time. Ev stuff catches fire too easily. It would not be suitable for a beached ship ferrying supplies. salt water intrusion same with vehicles is equivalent to driving a toaster through a car wash.
Some of the projects, especially EV are really good at sucking in venture capital with very little chance of return. Small ice helicopter is the way to go… but not for delivering pizza!
Lilium declared bankruptcy unfortunately (thanks to the German government which rejected subsidies at the last moment...) Apparently France is very interested in Lilium. However the most important thing is that all the technology and know-how does NOT go to China!!!
Any aircraft that requires a set of dedicated lift engines during horizontal flight to provide lift, is a failed concept! The only viable concept is that craft that uses it lift engines for forward flight! Its not rocket science, you just need a craft with adequate wings to lift a decent payload, and lift/ forward propulsion engines, that some how can transition. The best concept so far, which means it has the chance of being the best craft, when finally realised, is the craft with wings that fold with the engines, and thus can take off vertically, then fly horizontally using it's wings, and then land vertically as the wings fold. The Pterodynamics XP-4 , is the best concept out there, and will be the most successful, as it doesn't carry dead weight vertical lift engines. It truly is, both an airplane and helicopter all rolled into one!
The Kawasaki UAV looks like it could have been derived from the QH-50 GYRODRONE (the DASH UAV). Japan was the most successful user of the DASH naval drone.

What recent *marvels* have they engineered that are use in the U.S.?

Not really right it's too long to explain what's behind together Countries now only more interest than before about that ✌️
Helicopter with H2R engine, wow....Beast can pop a wheelie

It can pick up packages wow
One of my favorite videos you’ve posted. Well done.
stop like bots comment thx
It's will be nice gift from Japan to Amazon
Very uplifting story. Thank you.
This will be very useful for humanitarian relief. North Carolina could use a fleet of these.
That’s cute, Americans needing “humanitarian” relief.
Kawasaki Ninja
very good.
Powered by Ninja H2R engine!

Drug cartels are salivating over this Powerful Cargo Helicopter 😂😂
This is how they should delivery my next Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.
Kawasaki X2
Correct direction.
Ol' Adam Goldstein is about to meet his Doge.
Alright alright hear me out
We've got Robot cops
We've got motorcycle-power in small helicopters
We can make Robocop-ter
Lovely but i still think these are solutions looking for a problem.

My deepest condolences for this battery powered project.
Most, if not all of these prototypes will fail.
This is the way.
Skynet likes the way this is going...... 🤔

Good job . then Dibai also prepare to in this way services peoples and visitor. or vacation there sone peoples 🎉
will only work in polite non nefarious areas
Backyard delivery ?
Lilium is already insolvent - like a lot of other EVTOL companies - afraid the commercial EVTOL revolution is still a long way off
What US core technology was applied to this object?
Too slow for a kamakazi drone. Add a jet engine n it should do the trick.😊😅😅
I was confused discriminating speaking, noise and music.
Expensive junk. Lets see what survives scaled up (none) The 609 made an impressive smoking hole
Lillium is already done, belly up.
If you only read headlines. Actually nothing is final till spring next year. It looks good they will still carry on even in spring 2025.
That makes it unimpressive

😂😂😂😂
