I used to live in an apartment above the parking lot, a magnet for graffiti. Also for men peeing on the wall. The landlord painted it with a special paint coating that repelled moister, and didnt allow paint to stick. It just ran off . Hilariously, it also sprayed the pee right back on the person peeing on the wall! So funny .
Nice one Nick! Like most people, I can't stand graffiti. I wouldn't mind if the people who did had any talent, but they never do and you mostly get those crappy tags everywhere.

Excellent work Nick. You should be extremely happy with that job not just pretty happy! Here in Tassie, if there is a wall that cops a lot of graffiti, someone pays a proper graffiti artist to do the whole wall with a decent image/design that moves the "would be" artists on. Great video to watch 🎉
Looks great! I've never understood why building contractors or estates maintenance scrimp on protection. If its a publically accessed area, just get a coating on the brickwork. It saves a small fortune in the long run! I did the side of my mates house once, that faced an alley, as he was constantly getting graffiti. Once it was done and dried, quick 2 minute blast with a pressure washer when he was cleaning once a month kept it pristine!
MO the owners of the complex should have had the anti-graffiti sprayer crew already booked to spray it on right after, as it was a Friday - by Monday, there was a good chance of more graffiti....Also, Great Job by Prestige External Cleaning!
Of COUSE it will be tagged again! All that was done was to create a fresh canvas for tagging. Perhaps they should paint it BLACK and see how the graffiti types like THAT!
@@SeattlePioneer colourful sprays are not difficult to find. These graffiti were made with green and red and both would have been visible on black wall. The only protection is anti-graffiti coating and cleaning 🤷🏼♀️
Cleaning is providing a fresh canvas for taggers. I suspect that a colorful BLACK would be FAR less of an invitation to taggers than a cleaned wall. Worth a try, I suggest. And fresh coats of black paint covering any repeated tagging should be discouraging for taggers and easy to apply to cover up tagging. But I have no experience with how effective anti tagging paints might be. Perhaps we can agree that simply cleaning a surface, as illustrated in the video, is an invitation for repeated tagging.

Hey Sir Nick. Here in Montreal, I live above a tunnel that leads downhill towards a Metro Station at the bottom. It is a one lane down run with a walk path to one side. Our kids tag the entire length of the walls on both the walk side as well as the car lane opposite wall. Then they have tagged all the pillars as high as they can reach at the bottom of the tunnel that holds up the elevated highway above. They stopped steam cleaning the walls a long time ago. Because every time they clean it, the tags appear almost overnight. So now they just let the taggers run amok, then come back and paint over the tagging, they don't even attempt to clean it because there are so many layers of spray paint on the walls. // Now we will see just how fast the taggers return to tag that wall again. Maybe they should not wait to treat that wall, yes??
You did an amazing job with that tiny compressor. I had a blasting business and ran a 800 CFM compressor, with that kind of air the wall you did would have been done very quickly. But I like seeing how percise your blasting was. Good Job.
I love what you did here! Thanks for sharing that technology. It's mind blowing! I have to deal with graffiti at one of the properties I service, and it's awful stuff. They're lucky to have someone like you to offer this service!

Terrific job of creating a fresh canvas for the graffiti types to paint again. I'm thinking that local residents ought to catch the taggers and spray paint THEM for a change.
I have a 4k psi pressure washer. Added to that is a Venturi sand injector. This will take 30 mesh or 20 mesh bagged sand , sand has to be dry to flow. I remove that graffiti with that. I wonder if this method would work here: Many years ago I read a lengthy article about using light as a cleaner.
