Wow, this is a really good channel with incredible informative content. Regrettably, I only recently discovered it (and "The Grayzone") because of the TYT debacle. Ana Kasparian may not realize this but Ana criticizing a channel is the best recommendation a channel can have. I am really totally impressed with "BreakThrough News" and "The Grayzone". I am ashamed to say I was comfortable watching those more popular channels and am really glad the TYT debacle happened.

For foreign coverage no outlet beats The Grayzone. MintPress News is also very good. Then there are lots of excellent independent journalists like Rania Khalek.

@@NathanShirley Thank-you, I will give them (MintPress News) a try. I have actually learned more in the past couple of weeks than I have in the past couple of years because I had been in a rut viewing the same old same old news from these other more popular channels. It is really hard to know what you don't know. If anyone has other recommendations please inform me here. I think RUclips makes it hard to find these kinds of channels and I normally would not have found them except for the TYT debacle.

    • @NathanShirley

@@excel97lover I've found that following specific journalists rather than specific outlets/publications is generally best. Most outlets have their ups and downs, and it can be hard if not impossible to tell what is being reported accurately and what isn't, unless you know a lot about the topic already, or you know the track record of the journalist doing the reporting. The Grayzone is the only sizable outlet I know of where all of their journalists are excellent. MintPress is almost as consistent. But if you start looking up interviews on RUclips with specific journalists from The Grayzone and MintPress, you can really start finding a lot of other great journalists. I'd start with Max Blumenthal, Aaron Mate, Anya Parampil, Ben Norton, Mnar Muhawesh, Chris Hedges, Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, Seymour Hersh, and there are plenty of great young up-and-coming journalists like R. Khalek, Danny Haiphong (of Black Agenda Report), Kevin Gosztola (of ShadowProof), just to name a few.

@@antonimonti6902 I think that much worse than that is the police state that everyone must be live under. Always being intimidated by their constant arrogant ass hole presence. Treating the city like its their own private parking lot. The most incarcerated and barbarically over sentenced population on the planet. There isn't "A Socialist" anymore than there is "A Capitalist" or "A Leftist" political party form of government. The few and stupidly combated political concepts we have produced so far, are just that: General political concepts. They can produce a well functioning version of governance, as much as they can produce an ill functioning version of governance. Just look at the world and you'll see that.

My greatest hope in the near future lies in Brazil. The reason is that it has never happened before that the largest players in Latin America are on the same side simultaneously, but if Lula comes back to power in Brazil, an alliance with AMLO in Mexico and Alberto Fernández in Argentina (plus the smaller, but non-negligible support of Bolivia) seems quite likely, and that would be a serious threat to the US's grip on the whole region.
