I remember when US college students would volunteer to harvest Cuban sugar cane to help support the Cuban Revolution. We should do that again and more. We should send students to work and learn Cuban tropical organic farming methods.

Their freedom and prosperity is build on millions of dead and suffering people. 60-100 million native americans died , millions of africans were enslaved, millions of Middle-eastern are dead or refugees, the african and South-American continental are kept poor etc etc. Today US also keep their own cityzens in powerty. The wildfires in the west are fought by prisoners earning 2 dollars a day. Human rights, freedom and democracy means nothing to US government.....the government US cityzens choose to vote for.

That is why they put pressure to renew sanctions and place Cuba on the "terrorist sponsoring" list of countries, nothing to do with reality, but just what is needed to put a chill on trade relations with other countries. Closing the US Embassy consular services in Havana has really worsened the situations for many Cubans who were already approved under the family reunification program. The cutting off remittances by Cuban-Americans is another calculated, cruel measure affecting Cuba's economy even more. Just to mention that in the last few days, Cuban website have been under constant attacks, pushing them offline. That is also a form of censorship.
