When you lack fundamentals and do not respect nor practice your craft then even something as simple as this is well like this....his foot work is his major problem. His kicks are inconsistent, if he is caveman drumming "boom tick boom tick" you can hear his bass drum (despite it not being very prevalent in the overall sound) but as soon as you add double kicks on a single bass drum let alone double bass forget it, it's washed out and unintelligible due to his horrible technique. I have seen several shows on this run it's not that his drum sound is bad, it's his technique that is awful.
I wonder how Lars feels playing this song. Over and over again, like so many other songs. Its got to be like a workout every time.
