      It's crazy, but not surprising. She's done the most out of everyone in the restaurant but she makes a few mistakes and viewers want to throw her away smh.
      Carmy was constantly physically, mentally and emotionally not there at the restaurant and Sydney was left to lead.
      Richie was working at the beef for years prior to Sydney and Carmy arriving and it was still the same shit hole. And he was the one person most against positive change for the restaurant and only got better in late season 2.
      Nat wanted nothing to do with the restaurant in season 1, and though she did in season 2, she was pregnant (and I think still working her other job) so even though she helped she wouldn't be there all the time (though this is a valid reason, Carmy and Richie, not at all).
      Then everyone else needed to hone in on their craft.
      There would be no The Bear without Sydney, one of the first things established about Carmy is about how much him and restaurant are struggling. He was there two weeks before Sydney got there and the only thing that changed at that point was how the food was made based on his input, but nothing else. Sydney is the one that got them to where they're at.

      Sydney is not a good character overall she has positive traits however her negatives outway her Positives, she's better than Carmy but that's not saying much.......She's a quitter she loses herself and her cool at the most extreme moments and she's affected afterwards....She's a glass Canon I see through that and I again stand on every word I said about her, please leave your projected insecurities and your sympathy out of my chat..... nothing would insult me more. Life isn't fair..... fair is a place where they judge pigs..... it doesn't exist.

    No. The disrespect you all are showing Syd is way too hard. You’ll see that she was trying to help them get their shit together because that’s gonna be a recurring problem with the restaurant.
    8:00 on is laughable given how hard and how emotional you all get when a woman has to step in between two men having an emotional outburst that - get this - affects their business. She has every right to have a voice and vent. Are you all gonna go this hard on Sugar if she has an attitude? That’s not entitlement.

    • @kionkion1453

      Sydney, Richie and Carmy ARE NOT EQUAL!!!
      Once you understand that this show will make sense then you see how awful the decision is by making her partner when she's a quitter, she loses it at critical moments and it affects her health physically... you know as well as I know she's not ready for that position......... it doesn't matter if I like her or dislike her we both know she's not ready for that Position.............. TELL ME WHEN IM TELLING LIES

    • @Itsupimup
      @Itsupimup 3 дня назад +5

      @@kionkion1453 she’s not ready?? but who was off doing random shit with a girl last season and couldn’t commit to the job? Who just got their shit together half way through season 2? She did quit but she’s developed so much as a character,can’t say the same for Carmy and Richie this episode.
      I want you to seriously think why you can excuse and overlook Carmy and Richie’s negligence,excessive outbursts , and irresponsibility ,but will hold syd to her actions in season 1 when she hasn’t done shit like that again? Unpack those biases/double standards you got ,you and this channel.

    • @rockinstampede
      @rockinstampede 3 дня назад

      @@Itsupimup I’ll go to bat for Ritchie though. I get behind how bad it looks for business for these outbursts, but he’s only pointing at them at Carmy because of their fallout. Like the one outburst in episode 3 when the papers go to the ground and Marcus pulled Ritchie away, Ritchie immediately turned to Syd and apologized to her. Given how the two were at each others throats (and Ritchie’s actual ass) in season 1 to the point that they’re at now, I’d say that’s incredible growth.
      But you’re right in the sense of Carmy who will still melt down hard and berate the rest of the team. At least Ritchie is a bit more… targeted.
      But this Syd shit has really gotta stop with these people. Especially now.

    • @rockinstampede
      @rockinstampede 3 дня назад

      @@kionkion1453 Seriously dude? Have you watched Season 3? All the decisions Carmy makes is ON HIS OWN. Don’t forget the person who probably has the largest stake is Uncle Jimmy. And he’s the only one (and arguably Sugar) full vocal and questioning Carmy’s decisions. On how none of what he’s doing is making them money. And at the very least, it can’t be denied that everyone , at the very least, is questioning him. Worst, doubting him. And it’s so obvious in season 3 alone. Are you gonna go hard on them? Marcus quit too in Season 1. Are you gonna keep the same energy?
      Yet he’s insistent on making the menus different daily and changing the ingredients and listings to how only he wants at the behest of the rest of the team. Then the photographer comes in and he can’t even remember the duck dish. That’s on him. Because he’s the one who made the decision.
      And don’t forget in season 3 when Carmy was yelling at Tina for messing up the dishes, who stepped up and actually built Tina up? Syd did. The same way the super successful Chef Andrea does. They’re firm, but they help. They don’t berate. Not how Carmy puts on his Chef David face and loses his shit and guess who had to tell Carmy that she’s not his babysitter again? Syd.
      Next set of lies?
