They are ratios. You can use different measurements depending on how much you want to make. so, you could do it all in cups. The "part" means any unit of measurement.
Epson salt is a common product you can purchase in almost any drug store. It's been used forever as a soothing bath soak, and sometimes as a serious laxative. It's not at all expensive.
Amateur Baker different types of salt have different benefits, for example, epsom salt is very good for the skin but idolized salt (cooking salt) is very harsh on skin
Way too fast. Write out the recipe or provide a link! The amount of EO would depend on the amount of other ingredients! What was you measurement? Does 1 Part refer to 1 C or 1 tbsp? EOs would have to be different!
I'm sure you found your answer by now, but a part refers to a ratio. Say 1 part "A" to 2 parts "B". If put in 1 cup of A, then you'll need to add 2 cups of B. The measurement can change, but not the ratio.
You should actually be diluting your essential oils in a carrier like coconut oil or sweet almond oil. Essential oils can burn the skin. Just a heads up!
What a great role model in Martha
love this idea and will have to give them a try.
when they say 4 parts what do the mean like one cup I'm young and want to make this for my mom
I was thinking the same thing but from the video it looks like they’re using a cup and that equals 1 part
One part can be any amount you like-depending on how large a batch you want to make. As long as the ratios stay the same you'll be fine
Does anyone know what exact baking soda to use? Is it just arm and hammer?
Does the food coloring stain skin while bathing?
Does it work with normal salt bc I live in the Netherlands 🇳🇱
love this, thanks y'all!
What is the purpose of adding the baking soda into d salt? Thanks
Apparently to neutralise the bath water 😊
It softens the skin.
How much do you put in your bath
As much as you’d like or feel comfortable with

yes
what does it mean by "parts" like how much do I use
Caitlyn Willingham a "part" is whatever form of measurement you use, e.g. a cup, a scoop, a tablespoon, etc.
I learned it in math like a week ago and now I am proud

Don’t use idolized salt, that is the kind you cook with? Epsom salt you can find in the medicine section at Walmart
Epsom salt is magnesium sulphate which is good for your aches and pains and muscle relaxation
How much do you use in the bath?
seashorecanadian as much as you need
seashorecanadian I recommend only a little though
seashorecanadian I don’t use mine for the bath 🧪💊🤪
@@yungnutsock1314 wtf
Enough for inhalation.
💯
What’s the name of that blue colourant??
Blue Caca.
Just use engine coolant or windshield washer fluid...probably the same toxic effect she's going for with the food coloring.
May I know what's the purpose of ysing different types of salts?

Y'all ungrateful and LAZY MUCH
Even her bath salts are her favorite color lol
Can you use soap coloring .?
that would be better than food colouring
Sweet Rose that's a damn good suggestion
If you want to have a kinda of rose color you can use himalayan salt. :)
como me gustaria que fuera en español
Yup I'm giving up. I'll use kitchen salt. It's all right folks
Can I use iodized salt?
No that would be too harsh for your skin. Coarse Sea Salt and Epsom Salt are not expensive and they are both very easy to find.
thank you.
aygo
Iodized salt and sea salt are sodium chloride. No difference in harshness.
No, no, no. Sorry to Martha but be sure to use skin safe colorants rather than food coloring.
These won't get hard? There was no drying shown here.
But can you smoke it?
Food coloring 😱
Ruined it. I liked it better without. The colour wasn't even pretty.
@@LuxMeow Food coloring kind of defeats the entire purpose. "Relax, detox and retox"...wait, what?
@@michaelscoots Haha good point!

if you are putting them in a bath they will be diluted by the water... they only burn if they are applied neat.
No one asked you KARA! Swear you know everything right? 🥱
