5 Recipes For Awesome Diy Floral Bath Salts!

- Floral Bath Salts! 5 DIFFERENT RECIPES! Scented, moisturizing, bubbling, fizzing, & foaming! All of the bath salt recipes are super easy, simple, quick, & are basically the same with 1-2 additional ingredients for each specific reaction. All of the salts smelled amazing & created a wonderful salt soak. I highly recommend using a base for scenting salts to keep them clump-free. ***OR if you add soda acid (baking soda & citric acid) to make them foam, add the wet to the baking soda, let it dry overnight, then add it to the salts. I’m using Natrasorb for more information, click this video: • The Ultimate Guide To ... Natrasorb bath is a variety of tapioca starch that has unique 'pockets' that can carry oils in powder form. This will keep your bath salts dry, clump-free, & heavily scented! ALSO, depending on how much color is used, add polysorbate 80 {light colors = 1 milliliter * medium= 1.5 milliliters * dark= 2 milliliters} Add the scented base to a ½ cup of Epsom salt. Then rub them between your hands to evenly coat the salt. ***Squeeze salt between hands. If it clumps, add 1-2 tablespoons salt, mixing after each addition. Repeat until clump-free.
SCENTED: ½ cup Epsom salts, 3 grams natrasorb, 3 grams fragrance, & 1 milliliter polysorbate 80. BUBBLING: ½ cup Epsom salts, 3 grams natrasorb, 3 grams fragrance, 1.5 milliliters polysorbate 80, & 1 tablespoon sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (SLSa). Mix SLSa in salts then add mica (makes SLSa blend in better.) ***If you add more than this, salts will look & feel more like powder (rather than salt).
MOISTURIZING: ½ cup Epsom salts, 3 grams natrasorb, 3 grams fragrance, 1 milliliter polysorbate 80, & 3 grams oil/melted butter (I used vitamin E oil). *** I had to add an additional ¼ cup Epsom salt.
The last 2 recipes require “soda-acid”. Sieve together ¼ cup baking soda & ¼ cup citric acid, then mix.
FIZZING: ½ cup Epsom salts, 3 grams natrasorb, 3 grams fragrance, 1 milliliter polysorbate 80. Prepare salts then add ¼ cup “soda-acid” & mix.
FOAMING: ½ cup Epsom salts, 3 grams natrasorb, 3 grams fragrance, & 2 milliliters polysorbate 80. Add ¼ cup “soda-acid” to a bowl & add 5 milliliters ammonium lauryl sulfate (coco betaine will work, just not as good). Mix well (it will puff up) & cure until completely dry (I just left mine out overnight). Once dry, sieve powder into salts. Mix them up, then add color.
PACKAGING: Pour salt in & wiggle jar to fit the rest. Don’t pack it; let the salts remain free-flowing. Garnish the top with more flowers. Choose a color that compliments the salt or the accent color (normally the exact opposite color of the salt).

@@CreativeBathLab is it 3g of natrasorb to every half a cup?
Lovely!! Inspiring videos, thanks for sharing
😉
I'm hooked. 💕
Thank you so much for these recipes! I've just found them again and am so excited! I found it a bit confusing though, because the ingredients are not standardized. I think it would be helpful for us beginners, to either list the ingredients measurements, in either metric or standard, measurements etc. But thank you again for these, I really appreciate it so much!
I love seeing your channel grow! Like someone else mentioned I can't wait for some Christmas videos.
🥰… don’t know what yet, but it’ll be great! (I hope)!

Eres maravillosa!! Feliz Año!😘🥳
¡Muchas gracias! ¡Feliz año nuevo!
Thanks again Dora
You're welcome 😊
I think my fav color/flower combo was the foaming salt blue/yellow. You always get a lot of bubbles with your recipes and that’s what I like about them. I did use dyes w mine instead of micas so the water is colored more n makes it kinda cool to look at :)
That one is gorgeous. My FAV color combo would be that sky blue with deep red roses... I just found it so beautiful! You used powder dyes? I purchased a few dyes or lakes (cant remember) but they have to be bloomed & all that jazz & I'm so stretched on time as it is. But, I will be doing a color tutorial soon!
@@CreativeBathLab try it! It takes an extra min to “bloom” in hot water or alcohol but the results are awesome
I know I know… just not keen on it! lol
Girl your just amazing.
😉
@@CreativeBathLab have you made soap jellies yet? I think they call them shower jellys, I think it's a lush inspired thing 🤔lol you know im ready to watch you make soap jellies lol

Thanks for all the great info! Where do you get your natrasorb at and also your cute glass bottles with cork lids?? Love your channel so much!!
YW. bottles on amazon (its linked in the bottom of description) & natrasorb, try saveoncitric.com
Amazing
Thanks boo!
Mmmm I do love me a good salt bath lol....you always make such amazing videos & products....always making me want to soak into another yummy relaxing bath (even after just getting out of one)! Love love this video....the salts looks so lovely in the bottles...amazing presentation! 😍🥰
Thanks so much. I do the same to MYSELF. I already take 1-2 hour baths. My friends always complain about this. Then when I watch my videos during editing they'll make me want to go run a bath right then and there!
@@CreativeBathLab sigh I can totally relate lol....after making products, I can’t wait until they’re cured & ready so I can use them hahhaha.
Totally!
after getting into taking baths with these items, you get spoiled. i never bathe without something, bubbles or a bomb or salts. just isnt right anymore. LOL a bath without bubbles is kinda sad LOL
You’re telling me! I know! I’m used to using a few items at once, too. If I don’t have anything to put in my bath it feels empty. Like something is missing!
ماهذا الجمال والابداع 😍اتمنى ان يكون هناك فيديوهات لصابونية تفتيح البشرة 🙏

Thank you for sharing! Where did you purchase that beautiful scale? I’ve been looking for one for months… Yours looks great!

Donde puedo conseguir el natrasorb,en amazon no hay y no saben cuando habrá nuevamente
Hi can tapioca starch be substitued with anything? Arrowroot powder- cornstarch ? Thanks for any help
Great video. If you want to double the amount of salts do you double all the other ingredients too?
Love the colors!! Where do u get the jars with a cork???
Thanks so much!
I loved this video how do you get clump free color with liquid soap coloring haven't mastered getting a solid color in my bath salt making yet and not a professional don't have access to polysobate 80 or slsa
A bit of liquid colorant shouldn’t make salts clump; esp if salts are well mixed with color (all salts are evenly coated)
Hi your work os beautiful I wanted to know instead of slsa can we use SCI powder
Thanks! Yes
These look soo nice!! Can I ask what happens if you don’t use polysorbate 80? Do you know if it’s needed or if there’s a natural alternative?
Thank you. If you dont use the polysorbate 80, esp if you use dark micas, your tub will be a mess!
Does the flower petals turn into brown color, like when we add on soaps
Hi,First thank you for the video.is there a calculation to increase the quantity or I just go double.there is nothing on the description .thank you again for all your amazing videos.
YW. No calculator, sorry
☆☆☆☆☆♡♡♡ Love this
😊
Love your videos❤️ what is “soda Acid” and where I buy? Thanks
Thank you! Soda-acid is just baking soda & citric acid (equal parts)
what is an alternative for the natrasorb?
Hello...I'm going to make the scented bath salts but it seems that 3 grams is roughly equal to 3/4 of a teaspoon....it doesn't seem the same as in your video. I've weighed 3 different scales and they all are the same amount. What do you suggest? Thank you.
جميله اليوتيوب المبدعه حبيتي ❤❤❤
شكرا جزيلا لك!
Thanks for all the lovely ideas! Is it also possible to use other types of salt for this? Like dead sea salt for example?
😊. Absolutely!
@@CreativeBathLab Great, thanks!
hello!! good morning! how are you? You know I love your work. and I have a question. can i substitute natrasorb for another starch?
Video coming soon!
Where do you buy your salts in bulk? I have a few suppliers I buy all my other supplies from but wanted to check with you first..love the videos, cant wait to see what you come up with next.
I linked it! I buy Solimo salts- cheapest I found YET!
How do you measure milliliter?
Is there another name for ammonium lauryl sulfate? I can't find it anywhere.
Hi Dora!! I'm completely new to this and have watched numerous videos and yours are by far the BEST!! I'm so glad I found your channel! For the 5 different types of bath salts, you mention using fragrance oil. Is this the same as essential oils? And do you use different fragrances or the same one?
Welcome! So glad to have you. They are not the same. Check out this video. ruclips.net/video/GbDjA_-nqiM/видео.html
@@CreativeBathLab Thank you soooo much for such a timely response and the video link was great!! You're so awesome!!
If I do not have natrasorb😢....then wat should I add instead of it
I just wondered.....with this amazing products off yours......do you sell direct to the public or do you have your own shop where you selling it ? You really have a great idea with this bathproducts. I love your ideas .....always fresh and new. ♡♡♡☆☆☆☆☆
Thanks so much. Unfortunately, I don’t have any extra time sell anything right now.
Hi there can you use corn starch instead of tapioca as an alternative to natrasorb? Can't wait to try this.
Any starch or flour will do!
Love your videos. Question: Do you use dead sea salts? Why or why not? Thank you so much for your informative videos. They are definitely helpful in starting my own business
Awesome! Yes, I do use Dead Sea salt. It’s GREAT for skin!
@@CreativeBathLab Thank you! Continue making great content.
I’ll try my hardest!
They're beautiful, Dora!
Thanks boo!
@@CreativeBathLab Dora, about how many (approximately) mini bottles did you get out of each batch? I think I'm going to try and make some, and then add them to raffle prize boxes, I'm making for an event...thanks!😉🌟
I got 2 bottles & some of them I got 3!
@@CreativeBathLab Thank you! 😉❣
YW!
How do u know how much of each ingredients you need?
is there an alternative i get get to natrasorb cant seen to find it in the uk x
ruclips.net/video/yim9NZ3ZmWM/видео.html
Oh wow I love your techniques still doing an awesome job Dora let me ask you something have you ever used Chuck a dust mold what am I saying of course you do I got them from you LOL they have a birthday present mold it's a nice size mold and it's very pretty but I am lost at how to use it if you get a chance get that mold and do a tutorial on how to make Christmas presents bath bombs if anyone can do it I know you can thank you Dora for all you do
Thanks so much! Always a pleasure hearing from you Nora! Yes, I’ve seen that mold. It’s solid right? If so, should be fairly straightforward. I’ll give it a try!
@@CreativeBathLab Well mine's came the other day and believe me when I say it is not straightforward😵😵
How much is the natrasorb bath? The link won’t work for me
Can we use other alternatives for Epsom salt like sea salt or regular table salt ?
Absolutely!
I am confused as to what the polysorbate 80has todo with the color...or is it being used to emulsify?
In this situation it must be added for mica colorant, especially for bold or darker colors. I learned the hard way. If you don’t have poly, the mica will end up stuck to the sides of the tub
Can you make the bubbly one without the natrasorb
sure
These are so nice! Can one substitute tapioca starch with constarch?
Yes you can!
@@CreativeBathLab Thank you!!
Hi Dora, How are you? I am just making the scented salts & I am using salts that are already scented & adding Icing Colors- water based colour. I find this colour set give me more vibrant colour than using mica.
Do you think that I still need to add polysorbate 80 to the recipe? I am not sure if I just add the polysorbate 80 only when I am using mica?
Poly is also to emulsify the oils (fragrance oil) so they blend with water & don’t sit on top the water. However you’ll probably be ok tho because like you said, I mainly use the poly to emulsify the micas (so that big ugly color ring isn’t left around the tub).
Thanks Dora
How do you preserve the fragrance? How long can you have it before the scent wears off
Great question. The fragrance is held in little natrasorb "pockets" & will remain there until placed in water. The scent doesn't wear off as long as its in a sealed container. I've had salts that have remained fragrant for a few years now so I don't think its anything you have to worry about.
Its hard found natrasorb at here.
Can i change it?
Yes. Tapioca starch or flour is fine
Hello Dora! I'm new to your channel and I just love it!! Im learning so much!❤ I have a couple of questions...for the scented bath, you don't mention adding slsa in the demonstration, but it does say to add it in the description. Should slsa be added to the scented bath salts? Also, you mention that soda acid should be 1/4 cup baking soda and 1/4 cup citric acid...for the fizzing bath salts, the description says to add 1/4 cup soda acid. Does this mean to mix the 1/4 cup baking soda and 1/4 cup citric acid and THEN ADD 1/4 cup of that mixture? Also, the description says if you add soda acid, to add the wet to the baking soda and let it dry overnight, then add to salts. Does this mean to only add to the baking soda, or to both the baking soda and citric acid mix? And what brand of liquid coloring do you use? And are you using Marblers mica? Thank you so much!!
Tenia la misma duda, pero creo que es porque le llama ACIDO-SODA a la mezcla de acído cítrico y bicarbonato... que van por partes iguales, pero no se realmente si sea así
Is there a substitution for the natrasorb
Tapioca starch!
Hello I have a question, what is the color drops you added ?
Hello Davon. I honestly don't recall. But, I have a color tutorial coming out soon & will reveal exactly what I used. Be patient!
So does mica stain without polysorbate
Not stain really, just makes a huge mess!
HI it's so beautiful 1/2 bol it's how much gramms
Hi Dora, these salts look AMAZING!! I was thinking of making them but Natrasorb you recommend is out of stock on Amazon 😏
Is there any other powder you can suggest to replace it.
Thanks!!!
Yes, makeyourownbuzz.com
did you find an alternative x
@@louisadarlington8650 nope!!! 😏
Can you help me to do that on my country ?
I’ll help any way I can!
What if you wanted a 13oz jar? Does a lot change?
Nope
Heyyy...can you tell me an alternative of natrasorb...I can't find it anywhere
tapioca starch!
Hey!! I love your videos!! But I’m having the hardest time finding ammonium lauryl sulfate. Is it the same as ammonium sulfate? I’m only finding sodium lauryl sulfate and ammonium sulfate, but not ammonium lauryl sulfate.
Thanks so much! Honestly I used that bc I had it, however coco GLUCOSIDE, coco betaine, decyl GLUCOSIDE, cocamide DEA, liquid SLS, etc., will work too! Any surfactant will foam! You may just have to use a little more!
Hey, sorry to drop in on this thread. I used Coco betaine with baking soda and Citric acid and it hasn't dried it just went 'chewey' any ideas what might have gone wrong?
It sounds like too much wet. Try mixing baking soda & citric acid then adding wet to it. Wait until it’s completely dry before adding so salts
@@CreativeBathLab thanks so much!! Sorry I'm just now replying!!
What is the purpose of the polysorbate 80
Polysorbate 80 is an emulsifier. An emulsifier helps oils & powder colorants, like mica, mix in the water. With out it, oils & colors separate, float on top the water, & will likely cause a nasty ring around the tub (instead of mixing in with the water & going down the drain).
