The lack of yellow on Robin's cape is abysmal
I think the shading could’ve been done better, but I like the cartoony proportions of the figures!

Josh, I bought a Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Frankenstein from Amazon. Don't judge me! He was only $16.99! I was drunk on impossibly low prices! By the way, I totally get the red and gold tunic. That's what military uniforms looked like when Mary Shelley wrote the novel. Apparently, in the DC Multiverse, Frankenstein may have participated in some mercenary work.

I just need Alfred and Robin. Scooped these up on Target just now! So hyped. BTAS is so awesome. I have a bunch of the DC direct figures. As nice as they were, they are made out of plastic glass lol I know Todds remakes/new figs in this line will be much sturdier. I do like the cell shading but it can use some refinement.
I’m on the hunt for the bat cycle. Hoping that’ll fix Batman’s display prowess, as then he’ll only be visible from the one good side.
I think the cell shading on Mr. Freeze and Scarecrow look really good. Batman and Robin on the other hand are just awful! Condiment King is absolutely fantastic though! So much fun! I do think he is worth picking up the whole wave for. He looks great except for the cell shading on the side of his face. Frustrating that so much paint was used for the cell shading, but then they decide not to paint the ketchup and mustard packets.
I hope McFarland rerelease the Batman Beyond animated figure, since the original released is impossible to get.
The cell shading on these figures ruin them.
Can't wait to see what customizers do with them to make them look how they should.
Think I am going to go with Kenner ones.
When McFarlane makes a whole other unwanted scare crow but doesn't put a Batman with the bat cycle
Awful figures the original dc direct animated figures are so much better
For the looseness of the legs I used nail polish to add some friction

I wish they wouldn't cell shade the re-issues... would love to pick up ones I missed such as Two-Face and Mr. Freeze but can't get with the cell shading. Atleast Alfred will be worth the pick up
I appreciate the review. I actually saw them at Target, but passed on them. My preference is similar to yours in that I want detail...and I love the seven inch Multiverse style.
Damn the cell shading really ruins the figures, I don’t like it at all, the figs do look a bit dated ngl
They are reissues so of course it's dated
@@theotherguy21 no the original dc direct animated series figures hold up extremely well the only thing that’s a little outdated is the articulation
It’s not just the cel shading it’s the glossy paint they are using
They should’ve did like they did for the Walmart box set with no cell shading. Also these all should be box sets because that BAF stuff is trash not to mention I have all the originals but no condiment king. I wouldn’t mind buying them over again but that cell shading so trash I’m not going to even bother with the figures. I did get that bat cycle but I’m using that for Nightwing and I’ll get Alfred because they didn’t make him originally.
Just FYI - DC Direct did make BTAS Alfred but he was only available in the Batcave playset
