DO NOT PRE RINSE Your Car PRE SOAK Instead...Here's Proof

- Pre-Rinsing your car literally does nothing. Though this is the standard it really is completely useless. Pre-soaking with a solution on the other hand is very effective.

I always pre soak my truck. As an enthusiast, it saves me time. Especially when I have to wash my wife’s suv as well.
Nice! I’m ready to purchase today!
Can't wait to try this! do you have a name for it yet?
Would love to see a Tough as Shell torture test ONLY with Jimbo's soap and see how many washes it withstand before killing the sealant
I can do that.
Nice to see the foam rinse foam worked out so well !
Foam rinse foam is the way to go 🙌
You are Correct, Foam, Rinse (from bottom up) Foam, then contact wash. I always practice safe washing!
just yesterday i rinsed the truck off with a pressure washer and still had some dirt that was stuck like water spots but darker i laid some meguires ultimate soap over and pressure washed it off and it all came out when before it was not budging at all.
I definitely need to get work soap! Nice 👍🏻 work!
the problem with pre soaking is the chemical on the trim n chrome and platics. it dries it up after repeated rounds. ideally just add some apc to your foamer and use on the bottom half of v the car where most of the dirt is. the top can be foamed with ph neutral soap when you refoam . i detail 50 to 70 cars a month outdoors. using high ph soaps arent great on a regular basis. ise when only on really had paint. if the car is nice its not worth it. just use safe methods and clean mitts. save the strong stuff for wheels and engine bays they don't belong on paint unless you're deconning polishing and coating after. then go nuts why not. on protected cars only the bottom 3rd should ever see acid or alkaline products.
This is about as safe as it gets and its the ideal way to wash a car. As for the plastics and chrome, I think you were letting it dry in the sun or used to strong a soap. But I'd rather the plastics fade and keep the paint in good condition because you can always coat the trims to make them dark again.
Will your soap safe for ceramic coatings? I have crystal serum ultra with exov3 and I top it with C2v3 every 3-4 months.
Yes. Will be safe.
How much will this soap cost? It looks very good with the perfect ph. Very interested
Working on all this right now.
Maybe its just me, but holding a pressure washer nozzle 6" away from the surface should blast everything away regardless of the soap used. I want to see how easy the soap rinses, and the amount of time it took wasnt very convincing.
I think it’s just you.
So.... soaping, rinse, then soaping, rinse, soaping until clean? this is a generic maintenance wash. Do it on a very dirty vehicle now, that's generic dust on that vehicle
Hi where did you get that foam spray bottle from please?
Did you keep it where it's a tire cleaner, rinse less wash from earlier version?
Yes.
Agreed! Pre rinse don't do shit. Especially in winter time where dirt really cakes up everythang. Can you wash with a mitt on the pre soak instead of washing the pre soak off?
I wouldnt, i would pre soak, rinse off then foam again.
@@autodetailingpodcast Ok that makes sense. But I was just trying to save a bit of water lol.
Not sure how it's a collaboration with Amazon. But it's okay I know what you did there 😉 No worries 🤐
Which sprayer is that?
Go 4:1 or 7:1 in foam cannon? Thanks!
4:1
Nice!!!
So $20 and 16oz of Jimbo soap later, we can start contact washing? You guys have some *dirty* cars. :)
Who’s using $20 worth of soap on one wash?!?!
You say dont pre rinse, but you didnt show pre rinsing vs pre washing. You proved nothing.
Well done and congrats on the finished product 👍👍 now we have to get you to 100k
Let’s gooooo!!
Oh wow you bought the hand foamer very nice bro.
ya trying it out.
@@autodetailingpodcast how you like it so far ? I’ve had mine for several months now I love them little foamers, just remember to unload the air out of them when you’re done it’ll bust a seam if you don’t. But other than that I’m having a great time with those. But that’s what I was saying about application method. These little guys can help out a lot.
@@AmirAbdullah so far so good. I did make that mistake one time already. Haha
@@autodetailingpodcast yeah me to.
I agree with the foam/rinse method. Do you think it is ok if the surface is warm?? Also, to show how clean the soap gets the surface wipe a rag across the dirtiest area on each side so the viewers can compare. Looks like you are making great progress!
I would say warm is ok - I wouldn’t do it if it was a steaming hot surface. I would wait for it to cool down
What is is that electric foam sprayer you're using? I need one.
Aliexpress, sounds terrible
Ok how much chemical did you use in that sprayer if I missed where you said it ?
I used about 4oz of chemical...sorry I did not mention in the vdieo.
What’s up Jimbo, what is the PH of your new soap?
9
Jimbo, ph questions. So the soap is 9...then your water is 7 ish likely...once 9ph soap is diluted, now whats the actual ph of the soapy water mix on the surface? This always peaks my interest, because i find it hard to believe the soap is alkaline enough to alter the finished liquid at all. Could you please test it with a ph meter after mixed and sprayed? Thanks! @autodetailingpodcast
@@kirkwilson5900💣🐚
Great question. It was lab tested at 8.5-9 mixed when it hits the surface. I call it 9 because that is the most accurate for when it is actually being used. It is higher inside the bottle at full concentration but it’s not designed to be used like that. Does that make sense?
@autodetailingpodcast good to know thanks for answering
Foams really well. Could you share the link for this foamer?
I legit watched a man rinse a car for 6 minutes straight and loved every bit of it! lol
Which mic are you using?
haha! These mics - amzn.to/3xaAyl3
What’s the PH of the soap gonna be ?
8.5
@@autodetailingpodcast nice will def try it when it’s available..ordered your magic cleaner yesterday what’s the ph level of that ?
I mean that's one smart way to market your product haha. Either way, I think pre-foaming is better than rinsing first, UNLESS the surface is really warm to hot then I would do a quick rinse as the time difference is negligible.
For sure - I would agree to cool down the surface.
Is not it obvious ? one side treated with chemicals twice will be cleaner...
Correct. But that wasn’t the point.
