Hey dude Is abec 11 bearing is good for long -board . I am going to buy a longboard and it is come with abec 11 bearing , so would it be a good deal to buy it . Tell me dude
yes, it did. although to note even with the light oil in, the weight from the spinner is generating enough torque to keep it spin quite well, I don't see the need to remove the oil, I found myself keep stopping the spinner and restart the spin constantly which makes improvement almost never needed. The little bit oil in the bearing actual works ok, and you do get the benefit of a little better dust prove. I mean when dust get in and they will get in, they cause vibrations, with the oil, the vibration is much less than without.
Thank you a lot for this comparison. So if i understand you well the abec 11 is the best for fidget toys and they are the best value for the money. And also which metod for cleaning the oil are you using?
After months of testing, I have to say the SS is good enough in most cases, but the tight fitting is not preferred, slightly lose fitting helps the performance so much. The batch SS I have, about 50% of them are really tight fitting, the other half are good. So if you are keen on performance, go with the ceramic instead. The only reason I see for SS is for the lower noise level. And for cleaning up the oil, you need to do the following: 1. Spray WD-40 into the bearing, and spin it, let WD40 soak in for a couple minutes. 2. Use tissue paper to absorb the excess WD-40. 3. dig the bearing into paint thinner for a few minutes. 4. clean up the paint thinner. 5. hot air blow dry the bearing. (don't use heat gun though, too hot). Now you should have a clean bearing.
Hey so I recently ordered a fidget spinner, and its a Si3N4. A lot of videos about that bearing in fidget spinners are saying it is loud. Is that true?
Yeah, that's true, and after a while usage, with little bit dust getting into the bearing, it gets louder, keep the dust shield on if possible to reduce the amount dust gets in. The alternative is rub in a tiny bit hand grease or really thin grease, it'll reduce your performance, but the tiny bit grease will make it almost completely silent. Hope that helps. Thanks.
I bet the dust cap is removed for those. don't mind that too much though, use a bit grease and lose a bit performance is no issue on spinners, nobody holds it and let it spin for long, you'll be pausing and restarting very often, so I would be happy with 20 seconds spin time.
Okay also, in your video the bearings don't have caps, but I made my OWN fidget spinner and they had the red caps, they were from a skateboard so what I'm asking is; that will the fidget spinners bearings have a cap or will it be open so we can see the balls?
I'm not sure, I will guess the red caps will be taken off from the toys from your link, but you can use the red caps from elsewhere, it looks like 608 in the center, your skate bearing cap should just fit. (forgot to say, the ones in my video came with caps too, I remove them so I can clean up the grease)
Ceramic, go for ceramic. All ceramic works better than SS in terms of performance. SiN4 is the best, but if you are on a budget go for ZrO2 ceramic. They are much cheater than SiN4.
Amazon, ebay and China are the places to get them unfortunately. You should be able to buy SiN4 from Amazon with no problem. ebay and china will take more than a month to get them shipped sometimes.
They should be ok, but I don't think they'll do better than your red bones ones. bones makes some pretty awesome SS bearings on the market. If you are really keen to get an upgrade, try these: www.amazon.com/Pacific-Flyers-Si3N4-Skateboard-Bearings/dp/B00KQPJUKA
That depends on your spinner weight and how much dust got in. on a vorso flat top it can get to 3 and half minutes when it's new and clean. with small bit dust in, it lasts around 2 minutes.
@@colore76 For roller skate, you'll be fine with SS bearings, they provide good tolerance to dust, and tbh, all these bearing are SS housing, so in terms of problem with water and rust they won't differ much, that said, unless you go for the full ceramic bearing. The ABEC rating and ball material probably only matters to long board, as you don't lift the wheels off the ground for it, they continue to roll with weight pressure on top. Find a reputable brand ABEC9 SS you won't be disappointed.
608RS ABEC 7 bearings. quiet and will go for ages. very smooth aswell
Hey dude
Is abec 11 bearing is good for long -board .
I am going to buy a longboard and it is come with abec 11 bearing , so would it be a good deal to buy it .
Tell me dude
Yes.
Thanx! Just the comparison i was looking for. Only thing missing from this was full ceramic bearing but i suspect theres not huge difference anyway.
Did you get tremendously better performance from the silicon nitrade after you removed the oil?
yes, it did. although to note even with the light oil in, the weight from the spinner is generating enough torque to keep it spin quite well, I don't see the need to remove the oil, I found myself keep stopping the spinner and restart the spin constantly which makes improvement almost never needed. Yes, doubled on a light spinner, and about 15% spin time increase on vorso flattop mk1

so which one is the best for a hand spinner? because right now i have red bones as a bearing and it spins for 1:20. please help me....

Do you know where i can get a SiN4 or a zr02 bearings? because all i find them at is amazon and some china websites.

Do you think the silver abec 9 on amazon is a good bearing or no??

How long do the Si3N4 usually spin for withought the lube?
That depends on your spinner weight and how much dust got in. on a vorso flat top it can get to 3 and half minutes when it's new and clean. with small bit dust in, it lasts around 2 minutes.
cool can i have a abec 9 set of 8
Idk why in looking for bearing while my skate only $20 lmao
what a pathetic audio quality!
what a crap of comparison. How can you just roll bearings without a load?
lol, this was made years ago, it's for spinner build not for skate board build. Load is irrelevant. Sorry mate, not the content you are looking for.
@@stin11111 ouch ok, got it now! Yeah I was looking for roller skate bearings comparison. sorry man!
