I learned about Apples to Apples long after playing Cards Against Humanity multiple times.
If I ever ask someone if they have ever heard of Apples to Apples, most of the time they say no. If I explain to them that it’s a clean version of Cards Against Humanity they say “oh ok I know that game!”
Anyone else have this experience?

The issue with Duelosaur is that it's transparently spreadsheet-like. Once you realize it, you can't unsee it. Everything is just about as good as anything else. My initial thoughts were the same as yours, similar experience with a smaller footprint, but that changed and I had to trade it away.
Apples to apples 🍎 🍏 is fun but for me overstays it welcome very quickly

Apples to apples is good. I remember playing this all the time with friends back in the day.
Personally I disliked apples to apples, but we use the cards to play a game called monikers. I love that game to death!!
