Since you draw and place where ever you want during set up. Theoretically, a player could have a valid 10 day trip just from the beginning? If they're lucky with their placements.
Great video, as always! This looks like a great game to get my kids involved in tabletop gaming while picking up some real-world knowledge (like how Pandemic taught them what happens when we don't wash our hands).
Since a player has to take one of the cards from the four piles, then discard a card, could they take a card from one of the discard piles and then discard the same card they just took? Perhaps if they want to keep their lineup as is in hopes of a future card.
Side note, where did you get that giant Watch It Played icon/meeple thing that's on the shelf behind you? I'd love giant meeples or gaming decor in general.
Appears to be the same game, same rules, but is a new printing with updated graphics. Cards instead of thick tiles. The game was out of print for a long time. I’ll be checking if they’ve reprinted the one for Africa. My old copy has a couple of defective tiles. I’ve always enjoyed this game for its simplicity but with a little tension as players race to complete their trip first.
Hey Rodney, I have noticed that the How to play's videos are being uploaded less frequently. Are they uploaded once a month now? I can't imagine that you aren't getting flooded by publishers to do sponsored videos teaching their games since you are (imo) the gold standard of how to plays.
I'm booked solid. Twelve released since January, and three produced that have to wait for the release date. So that's 3 a month. Maybe you don't have your notifications turned on for our channel?
@@WatchItPlayed ahh that makes sense, thanks for the info. I don't have notifications turned on, I just go to your videos and filter by most recent. Keep up the good work. :D
I love how you explain every single thing, I hope you will also make a video on how to play "Betrayal At house on a hill"
Thanks for the interest!
Great video! These OP games keep looking better and better.
Yeah, they're continuing to step up their game!
i like how simple the game is, great one to teach US geography to kids while having fun too
It also was helpful for me as a Canadian :)

I wonder what the odds would be on that happening :)
Trying to sqeeze a whole countries worth of vacationing into 10 days because your boss only gave you two weeks💀💀💀
Bringing real life to the table!
That's a cute game. Putting cards (with nice art) in order based on certain requirements reminds me of Trekking Through History.

I hope you get a chance to try it with them!

Yep, you'll find that covered here: ruclips.net/video/lHq43L655rU/видео.htmlfeature=shared&t=187
Came for Rodney, stayed to watch it played.

Those were custom made by a friend for the show!
Watching this after 10 days after my trip
Did this get a remaster? Is that why you’re doing a how to play?

Yes, this is getting a fresh presentation and production. I never played the original, but as I understand it, it's been out of print for awhile.
@@WatchItPlayed It’s always nice when games get reprinted. Some older or out-of-print games can be very costly!
i would like to think as if ALASKA and HAWAII are wild as in they are all the colors

So it’s kinda like racko but with states instead of numbers
Ha! I hadn't thought of it that way :)
Love the series. Too bad, they always out of print.
This one isn't! Brand new printing.
