What a prodigy. Adorable that she didn't yet know how to silence her pointe shoes. Made me cry at the end - her exhilaration plus the wild adoration and encouragement of her little friends and fans!
Lolol physically weightless, acoustically massive. It was hilarious to see that little body go up and down and then hear a solid *thunk* at the landing. And to see how at this stage she's still emphasizing getting to the movement on beat and completing the choreography on time, rather than infusing musicality. GOATs weren't born GOATs! Soooo cute
I studied ballet for 5 years when I was her age, I don't understand how I could imagine reach a good level when I see this, loving so much ballet, I was totally wrong . Vocation is a strong calling, work doesn't do everything, you have to be basically gifted and physically equipped.
@@eat_apples3270 they mean that you need to have the right shape and strength and flexibility and all of the physical things that great ballerinas have.
I personally believe that if you keep working at it, you'll get better. It's not just about being gifted or innate talent because "maybe she's born with it." It's also whether you're dedicated and passionate and willing to put in the hard work to get the results you want. With ballet, you get out of it what you put in. I'm in nursing school right now, and one of my instructors tells us at least once a week: "Practice makes what? Perfect. So practice perfect." It's more than that. One of my favorite terms I learned in psychology is successive approximations. To get from point A to point B is really tough. But rewarding yourself at every step in between really helps your mental approach and how you view it.

Ещё в детстве видно, прекрасный дар прыжок, баллон, прямо зависает в воздухе. Данность, которая очень привлекает, и Наталья прекрасно с этим обращается, и в остальном она очень крутая балерина.
So many people say she is too young to be dancing en pointe.... you DO realize that this is Russia right? Russians take their culture very very seriously and have a lot of pride about their native talent... as they should! We wouldn't HAVE dancers like this if they weren't so rigorous about their ballet training. You can say it's cruel, but to the dancers that go through it... it just isn't. They want it and work for it. Plus you're judging another culture by YOUR standards...
Lady Elizabeth Did you ever practice Ballet? If you did, you should have been told that a girl shouldn't be on pointe at such a young age. No matter how good she could be, she's growing up and she could have problems with her feet in the future because of being a little girl on pointe. It's about health not standars. Anyways, I really appreciate russians and I understand your point of view. Ps: excuse my english, it's not my language
Well, this question would depend on where Lady Elizabeth practiced ballet... Because in VAGANOVA, girls do pointe from the very first year, at 10 years old... And it's been like this for a lot of time. Go tell'em how to teach ballet.
Flora Greystone actually, I have done plenty more than "read something". I'm not saying any of this to sound conceited or anything, just mearly answering your question... Not only have I danced for over 15 years, I have a degree in Sociology and Anthropology/ Geography, I am well - acquainted with human anatomy and physiology, and was also part of a host family in which I met, housed, and learned from over 30 Russians during my adolescence. Just because I'm expressing an opinion regarding cultural relativity that is counter to what you believe, you're getting upset. And that's fine, get upset all you want. But ALL I said was that this view- point(of what the appropriate age should be to begin training en pointe) is, in fact, culturally relative! I understand that there can be health issues if some girls are put en pointe too early, especially if they have a very long career. And by no means do I condone allowing a six- year- old en pointe! But it's not right for anyone to judge another culture by the standards and norms of their own, save for any crimes against humanity. Period. I'm sorry if you disagree. I suggest you read a little something on Cultural Relativity and Ethnocentrism before you speak.
laura Villarreal Please read my reply to Flora Greystone. Thank you. But yes, I've been a dancer for over 15 years. I was only remarking on Cultural Relativity and Ethnocentrism. Good concepts to keep in mind when trying to navigate through this word! I'm glad you understood that point (hehe) at least! And no apology necessary, your English is REALLY great!:)
juan Farina- Thank you, Juan! You seem to be the only person who understood the meaning of my words! Nice to see someone who can step OUT of their own box, or norms, or culture, or whatever you want to call it, and actually see the world's differences as not necessarily or enherently wrong or bad because they are different!! Thanks for clearing that up for us!:) Clearly I'm a bit too verbose because your concise words balked no criticisms as of yet! :)
Simply beautiful 😻 even though she is very young She has a great tequnic and most of all she is able to dance with Music 🎶 hitting all the important notes 📝 Thank you 🙏🏼 Thank you 😊 Amen 🙏🏼
I was just thinking how perfect her timing is... I think she's wonderful but in lots of the youtube videos of her in major roles she seems not quite in time. Almost as if she has the tune in her head but the orchestra isn't keeping up!
I started ballet at 4 and started point work at 10. It is all about gradual, consistent strengthening and training to be ready for pointwork. Never had problems with my feet, but I did dislocate my knee at 15. Perhaps it would have been better to start a few years later, but I had very conservative Cechetti teachers, very strong emphasis on technique.
adorable ! the first part is really very good, the second part, an adaptation of "grand pas classique", is already so difficult for an adult ballerina !
So talented, you can tell she is gifted at balance. Many work very hard and don't have nearly such good balance even years older. I did notice that she doesn't seem to have any demi pointe or roll-through in her pointe shoes. Is this a matter of how they teach young dancers? Or is she in a shank that is too hard for her as such a young, small girl to be able to break it in and be able to roll through the demi up and down?
