"I can't today but I can tomorrow" ❤
So true
I love that message ❤
I use that quote now whenever I’m frustrated when I practice something. ❤️
I read it the same time she said.. wow
One of my new favorite quotes
She is the best 💯🌺😍👍
So strange, she lives several years in UK but her English is still so bad
I’m surprise that she’s shy, when I see her dance she gives an aura of strong confidence
That was my impression. She seems fearless the way she attacks a role, her confidence.
Her Kitri variations are wonderful. Never would have guessed she was shy.
Yes, such bravura and panache.
People who are in their element often are
In Coppelia, she looked almost cocky 😀
Never heard her speak English before, I like her personality! Artist indeed!
She´s amazing on stage, it´s very impressive how simple she looks, living very modestly aparently, and appreciating the simple and important things in life. Love her even more.
I love how she still looks healthy (not scary thin) and is still considered one of the best ballet dancers in the world
The best dancers are thin but have muscles
@@luisabritoleite850 they are lean
Because she wouldn't be able to sustain what she loves if her body was suffering
Yeah she actually even have muscles
You can tell how strong she is by her amazing jumps and speed of turns. When I was young I did rhythmic gymnastics and suffered from an eating disorder for a period of time, and the first thing I lost was my jump and stamina. Natalia is so energetic, she has the energy of a child or a squirrel 😊
Her English is hugely improved. Kudos to Osipova for adjusting so well to life in London, and the United Kingdom.
Hmm, now I wonder if she her shoes always look so worn out because she's refused to prepare new ones for years haha
Nathaniel Craig maybe she only prepares one pair of shoes a week or more but certainly not years
Alicia Heyer i think Nathaniel was just making a light joke. 🐱
Hazelnut, Queen of Hell oh ok sorry
Everyone knows that she is the biggest ballet star but she just does her things.
Very inspiring.
So adorable but so powerful on stage
Lovely! Her shoes always look so floppy and her feet so strong I sometimes wonder if she needs them.
They do indeed - her shoes I mean. Such a wonderful dancer and such a thoroughly sweet girl!
There's a Royal Opera video just gone up where you can see - around minute 3, why the shoes always look so strange!..Sorry , it's under "Royal Ballet, Natalia Osipova warm up" on youtube
I love how she is promoting being an honestly nice human, who simply is grateful for what they do and enjoy it. I appreciate how healthy she looks also - she used to be so thin, now she looks so much stronger and healthy 💞
I also noticed the healthy weight gain-she was so thin and frail in the Giselle recording, but looks healthier now. If you go back and see some of her Bolshoi era videos she was also very stick-like and I wonder if they forced her into an unhealthy body image or an eating disorder-not surprising considering that they monitor weight and food intake in Russia. I hope she feels brave enough someday to tell her body image story.
And now speaking English beautifully !!!!!!
Stevie I love her dancing, but her English is awful for somebody living in the UK...
I can understand her just fine...
@@ЕкатеринаАкатьева-б8б I can understand her perfectly!
Accent is just not important, I can understand what she said very clearly
Екатерина Акатьева только русский это мог написать
Beautiful Natalia! She has so much passion and acting while on stage. Her character on stage is what a real dancer should look like. Someone who knows the storyline to the ballet and sends that fiery passion out onto stage. Natalia IS that dancer. She is the dancer of the world. Bravo Natalia!
That was so lovely. I heard a long time ago that she is actually a natural blonde, but she dyes her hair black in homage to Margot Fonteyn. I wonder if this is true?
Interestingly Osipova, David Hallberg and Margot Fonteyn were all born on the same day.
No, she has naturally dark brown hair.
Yes, she has said before that she had blonde hair as a child and dyes it dark brown.
Yes, this is true. Shi is a natural blonde.
My ballet teacher once told us that she started to dye her naturally lighter hair dark, because it creates the best contrast on stage. She was told starting her carrier her hair colour was too close to her skin colour and from far away it would look like she had no hair. I wonder if it's a common advice.
She hardly needs shoes, her feet are so so strong!
Brava! I gotta see her dance before she retires. On my must-do list. Thank you, Ms Osipova.
"I can't today, but I can tomorrow," Natalia Osipova. Never lose hope....you may not jump as high as she does, a few inches on the floor will do. Keep jumping and one day, you probably will too.
You obviously haven't heard English from London's East End or Workington and many other placed in the UK. Her English speaking is comparatively like music to the ears..
One of the best in the world
Natalia- you're amazing! A beautiful dancer and an inspiration for many of us all around the world. Thank you for being amazing!!
She comes off as so sweet and nurturing 😭🥺 she is so right i would’ve never thought her to be shy!
How real and human she seems in this little video! It made me cry, I’m not sure why. Lovely.
The greatest dancer to hit the stage since Sylvie Guillem (in my opionn). Natalia, you are a gift to the world.
My favorite ballerina! ❤️
The “I can’t today but I will can tomorrow” actually was exactly what I needed. Thank you Natalia, you’re so inspiring and the greatest dancer I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t have thought you were shy, after watching you dance, enjoying yourself so expressively or acting just amazing. But I understand it. I criticize myself the worst. If any celebrity deserves the place on my phone-Lock Screen, it’s definitely you (I hope that doesn’t sound weird 😅). Hope I’ll once get the chance to see you life on stage ❤️
I admire her and her dancing so much. Her interpretation of dance touches me deeply. Her technique is impeccable but that special something she has comes deep from within her soul. You either have that or you don't. One can't learn that.
Considering her level of English when she arrived at the ROH ballet in London she has improved so much! We love seeing her here !!!!
Her interpretation of "The dying Swan" is absolutely gorgeous...She IS that swan
She is so disciplined and professional. So hard worker. I just adore her.
I cried when i saw ur Giselle, i have so much respect for you and for the whole part of the show.
So Inspirational!💖Osipova not only is adoring but she's my role model such a strong dancer sweet girl yet human like all of us behind the scenes Bravo!!😄
I have booked to see her next year in Swan Lake at ROH because I have to see her live even if it's just once in my life. She is wonderful and seems very sweet and down to earth.
Way better than roh production lol there's something humane about it. Really enjoyed!
Loved this interview! I love to listen to music too!!!
She doesn't have the typical ballet body which is interesting.
lacouerfairy what do you mean
Rebecca sweet
She isn’t terribly thin where you worry if the dancer hardly eats and uses her muscles for fuel. To me dancing is less about the “thinness”. With proper placement and training and healthy eating you will naturally get a beautiful shape and have a strong body.
If you look at old pictures of ballerinas they weren’t terribly thin less like models with muscles. But they were placed and strong and so were their partners.
To me Osipova is a real role model as I have struggled with eating and body dysmorphia during my training :)
Antonia Yasmin i agree she is very in shape but still healthy looking. I’ve struggled with body dysmorphia too so it’s definitely refreshing to see the dance world becoming more accepting of all body types
@@rebeccasweet9687 The only thing that I can see that's less typical is her large deltoids. Other than that she looks exactly like the lean, athletic professional that she is.
A beautiful and fun insight into one of the best dancers in the world! I WILL see her live one day!!!
Also the piano music is beautiful, does anyone know what it is?
She is a very strong artist
Once in a generation we used to see a dancer like Natalya, but in this generation there have been many great ballerinas. Natalya's performance is for me the one standard of excellence by which all others are compared.
INTERVIEWER: "What's the hardest part of your job?"
NATALIA: "Preparing my ballet shoes (laughter)"
ME: 𝑰𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒍𝒚 𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒓/𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒍
I I WERE HER... Lol, I’d train someone and pay them to do my shoes just right.
You have to do them yourselffffff
Ngl, slightly appalled by this comment
@@carolinaapintoo I think it was just a joke
I SAID I would TRAIN THEM FIRST. And by the way, PAVLOVA had someone do hers. Little ballet fact for ya.
@@carolinaapintoo your easily appalled. I like to save all mine for the big things.
I salute her for saying that she hates preparing ballet shoes 🩰 😂 Never heard that from a professional dancer before.
I like her so much
She is one of the greatest ballet dancers
And I think she tries to tell audience some stories in her performance
So I like her performances
She is the best !!!❤️
Жаль, что нет перевода на русский язык. Очень люблю эту замечательную талантливую балерину
Есть перевод, правда автоматический. Колесико в правом верхнем углу.
'I can't today but I can tomorrow' wtf I'm crying
Natalia you're the best ballerina who ever lived.
Lovely interview. Lovely lady. Sounds like life is on-track again. Happy for her.
I love her :) wish the interview was longer!
The greatest ballerina ever!!
Toni Bittencourt that’s a bold statement
Plisetskaya immediately comes to mind

Мы скажем,что ты лучшая,настоящая💞💞💞💞👍
She is just a beautiful dancer, and a very nice person too ( in this video)...
So inspiring to see someone so passionate about what they do
La mejor bailarina de los últimos 7-8 años !!
I don't get tired of watching this video😍 I don't know anymore how many times I've seen it💯🌺
I LOVE HER!
Wait why am I crying HAHAHAHA. She’s such a sweet and genuine person and so so talented and I want to be exactly like her when I grow up
Великая!!! Великая! Актриса! Танцовщица! Гениальная Наталья!
I love this vídeo 💛
I really want to know more about Osipova, she is an inspiration for me as a dancer
Ballet pizza says hello
She's so sweet, funny, lovely and adorable! i love her so so much!💕
Charm and beauty all around 💖 Natalia is the best! ✨
Такая лапочка🥰
She was perhaps the best actress.
Im gonna quote that, "I can't today, but i can tomorrow" -Natalia Osipova
She's my fave ballerina, her technique is almost perfect... 🥰😍🤩
BRAVA👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What a nice person she is🙂🙂🙂
Просто супер!❤️
Does anyone know what song is playing in the background? I'm starting to learn piano and I fell in love with it. I'd love to know the name of the piece!😍
I also want to know.
It's "A Quiet Departure" by Josh Leake. Shazammed it.
I love her so much
The only thing I will ever have in common with a wonderful ballerina is that I also own Samoyeds!
BRAVISSIMO!🌼🌻🌹🍒🍑🍿🍵☕🌌🌜🌥️🌦️🎆🎇✨🏆📻Ochen Harashow!
thank you for this!
What a beautiful person she is, inside and out. A true idol and my favourite ballerina.
Thank you for this interview.
Какая она хорошая!
She is beautiful ❤
She’s adorable!
Love her, the way she move her whole body so different from the other young ballerina though they also principal but natalia just in different level
I need to see her in a full class 🙏🏾!! She is really incredible
So beautiful and talented. I love watching her dance videos.
She’s an incredible athlete and beautiful. Also - I would die to be flexible like this.
Beautiful person.
A epic beauty, inside and out...
I think she’s the best ballerina in the world: grazia and power!!!!
She is so talented! Just love to watch her dance! 🤗😀❤️
Omg she is my new role model, when I grow up I want to dance like her, I want to have her flexibility, I want to have her flawlessness and confidence in stage, I love everything!
Music. 💆
Amazing …….
Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs from Brasil!!!!!
I would like to ask her how she maintains her core strength? Does she have a maintenance strength building routine, or does her dancing maintain the strength of her core muscles?
you don't have to do any special training to have a strong core, apart from dancing hours and hours every day, I mean. The fad for specialized "core training" is largely to sell Bosu balls and ab roller wheels etc.
Walrus Latte no most dancers do Pilates either at home or take classes
Jody Sheridan another video shows bits of her intense routine for her abs, which included planks and crunches, but she made them like ballet
@@maggie9251 pilates movements are very very much like ballet.
Walrus Latte Pilates are like sit ups and planks so no
Amazing!!!! I love her❤️❤️❤️
Now I know why she always wears dead pointe shoes 😅 She avoids sewing new pairs
She is stunning and her dancing awes.
Wonderful to get a glimpse into the lives of individual ballet stars.
Una verdadera estrella, te amamos
love i will prepare your shoes for you
Ну да, истерики устраивать она горазда
phenomenal dancer snd phenomenal woman 🥰❤️
