Nana O. has really bad attachment issues due to being abandoned as a child and feeling abandoned by Ren when he went to Trapnest. Nana O. tells to Yasu how she wants to keep Hachi in her backyard. Nana was attatched to Hachi. But once Hachi was "taken" by Takumi, Nana felt abandoned again. After THAT EVENT in the manga, thats when Nana O. broke and explains why she disappeared. She couldn't handle it.
so many people have to realize that not everyone in nana is good person, and things like nobu and hachis relationship wasnt as perfect as they thought, and all characters have their good parts and bad parts even with ones like takumi, great video!!
So happy to see people still making content on Nana, truly has to be one of my favorite shows, so real and heartfelt, the emotions were powerful for sure
this video speaks my heart abt what i've been thinking abt Nana. Thanks a lot. And even help me understand more abt some th characters. Keep going, this kind of content suit you so well. I'll hit the subsribe button right away.
NANA is my all-time favorite josei anime/manga. The characters all have so much depth and are flawed in ways that make them feel relatable and realistic. I truly hate how Takumi broke the news to Nobu about Hachi's pregnancy, but it makes sense. Takumi is a manipulative, calculating, and possessive man. It was a complete power move, and it was his way of telling Nobu he's got the means to take care of Hachi and the baby and there's nothing he can do about it. When I watched this show in my early 20s, I constantly judged Hachi for her mistakes, her boy-crazy attitude and her naivety. Now as a 30 something woman, I sympathize with her a lot more after having more dating and life experience under my belt. I know in my heart Ai Yazawa will likely never finish the series, but it'll always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for this review!
I didn't understand the anime ending, as it seemed like all the group was there except Nana, as if something happened to her, or she just didn't want to show up, idk. I thought that was weird. I still cheer up for Nobu and Hachi to end up together!!! I can only wish 🤧 Very nice review! I agree with basically everything ✨ and F the victim blaming they did to Hachi 🫠
Nana isn't there cause of the some things that happen in the manga before they all meet up! its so sad so I won't spoil it for you!! Thanks for watching.
In regards to Nobu finding about Hachi was pregnant, Nobu never knew the situation. He didn't know if Hachi had cheated on him or if this was before they got together. Nobu was not ready to be a father both mentally and financially. He would have to go back to his family business to support Hachi and Hachi knew Nobu had his dreams. He didnt want to go back to being a son of a Ryokan. Hachi chose Takumi as the father because despite being a dick, he had the financial means to take care of Hachi - something Nobu couldn't. In a way I felt like Hachi may have wanted Nobu to stand up, but he didn't. And Takumi stood up despite not knowing if it was his child or not, which is why I can understand why Hachi tried to choose the best option for her baby.
Thank you for making a video about Nana ! It’s my ultimate favorite manga series and I adore the way that the author crafted the relationships in the story. Absolutely love your content ❤
Good job on the video. Might i recommend D.gray-man as a potential series for you to read? If you’re a fan of vampire knight, then you’ll definitely love that one.
