Worlds within worlds. I think I get that idea of just falling into following a fish for an hour. As I drop in and follow along with the Wynns for a little while, we all drop in and follow along with the reef for a while. So an old man in Montreal drops in on a couple of Nudibranch living their best lives in the waters off of Fuji. Imagine trying to explain all that to the Nudibranch?
That is awesome! What would we tell the Nudi? Perhaps he didn't want to be filmed, or perhaps he was even filming us so he could show his friends the weird creatures that appeared from thin air while he was looking for dinner on the brain coral?!? 🤯

I'm 72 years old and when I was in my twenties and thirties I used to scuba dive off the coast of Maui Hawaii. Thank you, for bringing back those beautiful memories!!! 😀
So nice to see the Mamanucas and Yasawas in your latest videos! I'm not sure about your flexibility, but if you are all inclined, the diving gets much, much better if you just veer east into Bligh Waters. There are truly epic dive sites along the way to Namenalala like Mount Mutiny, Vatu-i-Ra Channel. Once at Namenalala, you'll be in heaven diving Chimneys and Grand Central (pinnacles on the barrier reef). Continuing east, head to Somosomo Strait to dive the epic Rainbow Reef between Vanua Levu and Taveuni Islands. Then hang out in Taveuni, exploring the rain forest and the waterfalls (Tavoro and the two above it). There are good mooring sites right in front of Makaira Resort --- great snorkeling there too. The bottom half of the east coast of Taveuni (below Lavena) is uninhabited with waterfalls everywhere and spectacular virgin beaches (inaccessible except to boats). You can hire a guide at Lavena to help you find all the cool waterfalls (like swimming through a gorge to see/experience 3 falls falling into what at times can feel like a turbulent toilet bowl). Cruise then a little north east from there to see Qamea and Matangi Islands. Matangi has a very picturesque bay that's featured in "Places to see before you die." And then for some great wall dives, just north of Laucala Island (or "Red Bull Island" -- 7 star resort), there's a submerged atoll called "Motualevu". It's like diving in outer space. . . . I'm sorry to see you've been stuck in the most unpicturesque part of Fiji with muck for beaches, but at least Denarau/Nadi has conveniences. Bula!

One thing that usually helps with the mask fogging is to carefully burn the glass with a lighter. Just don’t burn the rubber... :-) then wash the glass.

what ive been following is an awesome couple, landlocked but able to get through all this thanks to great contacts...the flying, the surfing and now the Z crew. what makes me happy is that you two powered through it with a smile. Your time with the Z's was fun to watch and they were very gracious to get you out of that apartment (wheres the cat?) and into their boat...it gave you a new look at family sailing. I also appreciate how allyou yachties stick together and help each other out...sadly that rarely happens on land right now. hoping your on your boat soon...im all caught up! cheers
The sailing community (in general) takes care of each other. It’s a beautiful thing. Pip the cat was adopted within 36 hours of the video going live. She lives in an amazing home in Fiji and she LOVES it. We’ve shared several photos of her on Instagram. What a sweetheart that cat is!

If you really want to get rid of fog on a new mask you need to remove the thin layer of residual oil left after manufacture. To do that take a lighter and quickly burn the inside of the lens, obviously taking care not to singe the mask skirt. Way more effective than toothpaste 👌😊

lovely nikki, great video to watch. i didn't see enough of you and your beautiful smile. i never spent any time thinking about being under water for any reason. i did do four years with the naval aviation back 79-82 i needed a break from the army. i knew a guy that was x.o. on a nuke sub spent 6 months under water, i like watching uder water, not for me i like fresh air. stay great........be water my friend
We are just a Microsecond in time. WE have the unique ability to see what was left behind from others who came before us and to learn from that experience as so we can pass it on to others who come after us. With that being said. I am happy I am on this journey in this microw second in time with both of you. There can be no greater connection between strangers as you have shown to so many of us who respect you and have a deep connection with you as if your family. Both of you are so much appreciated I can not even imagine that my microsecond in time could even end. Peace love and many blessings to both of you. This world is filled with so much beauty, thank you for showing those awesome beautiful moments.

Looks like a nice new interesting chapter with Zatara. Hey Jason try a flame from a match, candle or lighter on the lens of your dive mask. It does not take much for the silicon film to curl up. Look it up
Beautiful dive! on the mask, try a bit of baking soda, make it into a paste and scrub gently with your finger. If you use a gel toothpaste it won't work.
@@gonewiththewynns you need a mild abrasive to get off the oils and baking soda is everywhere, little trick I learned diving in remote Mexico. Works for cleaning the seal too if you have a leaking mask (and for storage...heck, it's a good all rounder). LOL

Maybe that's the ticket! My normal toothpaste is natural but they don't have it here in Fiji. That makes total sense why it's not working 🤦🏼♂️
