My favourite Police albums are Zenyatta Mondatta and Regatte de Blanc. I hope they will also release box sets of these albums.

Rumors were Sting was blocking any archive Police album box sets…glad that had changed. This should be a great box! Only missing a Dolby Atmos mix. Otherwise this will be amazing

Back in 93, they told us the cd boxset ( message in a box)was EVERYTHING they had. Maybe not
Well, it was everything they had as far as the complete albums was concerned. I don’t recall there being anything else on that set as far as any unreleased material. I have it and I’d have to go look, but I only remember it having all the album tracks. Might have been a few bonus tracks but far from what the new set is offering.
@@TrackXTrack it had the entire albums and all the b-sides, but everything had been released before. I had all the uk 12inchers with the b-sides long before the box came out, but got the box anyway
Did you listen to Sting’s Last Exit demo’s, Eberhard Schoener recordings with the trio, Strontium 90, Brimstone and Treacle, Klark Kent and some of the Andy Summers recordings with Sting or Stew? May not be exactly The Police, there’s alot to check out if you have not already
It's probably filled with 10 versions of bonus tracks of the same song.

Have always felt that Side 1 was practically unlistenable while Side 2 was and is a rock masterpiece. I’ll have to think this one over. Thanks for the info, Kyle.

I could give fk all about vinyl so I really want the cd version, but I can't get an answer as to whether the book is the same size for the cd box as it is for the vinyl. If it's smaller for the cd then I'll buy the vinyl box simply for the bigger book and just throw the LPs away.

Amazon has this on sale for $124. Huge Police fan, and I saw them live about 30 times. I'm good and at that price point I'll pass.
I’d like to see it priced closer to $100 considering what’s offered.
I've noticed the price as gone down on Amazon UK When I first ordered it was selling for just over £100 and now it's just under £70 and from what I've seen of it I think it's well worth it, have also ordered the coloured vinyl and picture disc.

The box is priced like a CD+BR set, but only has CDs. I'm skipping this one unless I find a major deal. It's happened before...
Yeah, I’m prob going to watch the price for a bit. But I do think the volume of music here is very good even without a BR.

Well, in this case, half the music is only on CD, not vinyl.
I don't give a fk how nice the book is. $125 (from Amazon, the cheapest I've seen) for 6 CD is overpriced by at least $40 and a ripoff. Shame on these greedy record companies. Only way I'm considering buying this is hauling stuff for trade in at my local record store.
A bunch of life stuff from the Omni… We’ve been served that up for 40 years. I’m so bored of those live versions pathetic there’s nothing new as far as that goes.
Live tracks are always a lazy sort of thing to include in a box set anyway
