Let me tell you something...There was only ONE TIME that happened to me. I was working at Goodwill, I was off a Friday and Saturday, and was scheduled to come in at noon on Sunday. Sunday came and I was getting calls on why I'm not there yet at 10am, I keep insisting that I'm scheduled to come in at noon. (Assistant manager hates me for whatever reason) Turns out it was this very Assistant Manager who rescheduled me without my knowledge, tried DENYING me a lunch break for being 2 hours late and I Shoved MY copy of MY schedule in her face (Which was done by the MAIN manager) and told her that if I don't get a lunch break at this time, MM will be having a few choice words with her. AM doesn't realize that I have been working with MM for years and that I HAVE to be notified immediately upon ANY schedule changes that involves me, on top of that at the time, I needed to eat at certain times of the day or I will get sick and start puking. So I did get my lunch break and AM was given a write up for her misconduct.

My son's 1st grade teacher bullied him, and four other boys in her class (5 total). Not sure why. But she would yell at them, and call them stupid, and tear up their projects and make them "do it again". We didn't find out till he was in 6th grade. I found out the teacher, the next year (after my son) , was finally called out by some parents to the school. The school here could not fire her, but they had her moved to library duty, and she left the year after that. POS

Why on Earth would anyone do such a thing? Sounds like she had some faulty wiring to be so lacking in empathy.
I can only hope that your son has fully recovered from his experience and managed to build a good relationship with the teachers who followed on.
I'm also hoping that he developed some kind of bond with the other boys who were subjected to the same awful experience.

Schools are ridiculous over medications. When I was in first grade I was having sore throats (not anything related to a viral or bacterial infection - I took a lot of asthma medications that dried me out). But my parents bought me a box of lozenges to take to school. The teacher sent me to the office (school did not have a nurse at the time, I don't know that they did until after I left 5th grade). I had to leave it there, and they called my parents telling them "blah blah, must have doctors note and must be kept in the office". My mother informed them that she was a nurse and more or less called them retarded and said she'll send me in with lozenges if she wants to and dared them to do anything about it again lol... they didn't.

And there was a school that had an indoor pool now this wouldn't have been a big deal except for this school was in the north part of the states. • @NeglectedAglet
      @NeglectedAglet 4 года назад +115

Not signing it doesn’t negate the disciplinary action on your record, it just means that you don’t agree with whatever you’re being written up for. There was a time that I refused to sign a write-up after being accused of not doing something that my boss told me to do (which was a lie). I found later that it was still on my record, they just noted that I never signed it. It sucks, but some bosses like to do that stuff. :/

Landon case I didn’t say anything about not signing a write-up negating it. Refusing to sign it, puts on record, that you disagree with the disciplinary act. Related to the teacher story, I have a story of petty revenge on my second grade teacher! (Didn't have a happy ending though.) Long story:
When I was a kid, I was VERY bright. I took after my dad, and am a FAST reader and can retain what I read pretty well. When I was in kindergarten, I would wander around the 5th grade section of my school library. Because of this, when I was in second grade, I was placed in a 2nd/3rd grade split class, and all the 2nd graders learned 3rd grade curriculum. My teacher was an older/elderly woman. Probably in her late 60's early 70's. And she HATED me! I was a good child, followed the rules, did fantastic on all my school work, and participated a lot in and out of class. Even though I was a good student, my teacher hated me, and I have three of my favorite examples. The third is the petty revenge.
    1. All of our classes at school had to have parents sign a little booklet where students wrote in what our homework was. So the parents can verify that their child did in fact receive homework, and the teacher would check for the signature the next day. My teacher had a system where if all the students in our group of desks got our homework books signed, we would all get jellybeans. I always had my book signed because I wanted that candy! Yet, my teacher would look at my book, look back up at me, then say, "Oh well. Looks like Pennypearls didn't get her book signed! No candy for this table!" I was pissed! And from then on, when our seating chart got rotated, my classmates who got assigned a desk group with me would groan because they knew they would never get candy. This is when I began to be bullied in school. I told my parents about this, and the office, but no one believed me.
    2. Remember when I said all the third graders learned 3rd grade curriculum? Well I was learning long division one day. Something the 3rd graders learned, not the 2nd graders. The teacher was going though a practice division example, and I noticed a mistake early on in the process that would mess up the answer. I raised my hand like a good little girl, and the teacher actually pointed at me, and called on me to state my question. I stated the mistake I saw, and her immediate reaction was to BLOW UP! She shouted at me: "DID I CALL ON YOU? NO! SO DO NOT TALK IN CLASS UNLESS YOU RAISE YOUR HAND AND I ANSWER!" I was stunned! I almost cried. Then after a pause, another girl in my class, a 3rd grader named Hanna (One of my first bullies) raised her hand right after. The teacher calmly called on her, and Hanna pointed out the same thing I did. My teacher then looks at the board and back at Hanna, and in a sweet voice then says: "Oh, it seems that you're right! Why doing you go up and grab a jelly bean!" It was here that I started to cry. Once again, the neither the office or my parents believed me.
    3. Here my FAVORITE example of her hate. The one with petty revenge. Remember how I said I was a fast reader and read way above my grade level? Well this is about my reading. About once every two weeks, our class had "Library time." Where our class would go to the school library, be read a child's picture book by the librarian, and would be given fifteen minutes to pick out a book for us to check out and read. (It was mandatory to check out a book). I of course, went to the 5th-6th grade section. The highest level books in my elementary school. My teacher saw this, and got pissed! She went up to me, dragged me by the wrist to the 1st grade section with nothing but picture books, picked a random one off the shelf, dragged me to the check out desk, and forced me to check that out. Stating/shouting that I was FORBIDDEN to read from the 5th/6th grade section! I was so mad at her over this! So in my child rage, I read that picture book in seconds! And took the ten question computer test we all had to take to make sure we read the book. I aced that computer test. And I did this in the 5 minutes we had left of library time! I took the book back with my to class, then at the next recess, I went to the library, returned my picture book, and checked out the book I wanted to read. It became my favorite book as a child. (Probably because of the revenge mixed in.) It was the first book in the Emily Windssnap series, and was new to my library. That book is over 200 pages. I checked it out, and finished it THAT DAY. I returned it, and took the 25 question computer test on it, and aced that as well. Now all the teachers have to verify all of the tests. So once a child has completed a test, it gets printed and sent to the teacher to sign. For a few seconds, my teacher was impressed! I was happy! Then it was like she flipped a switch, and she was FUMING! She was so mad that I DEFIED HER! I was trying to hold back tears as I returned the book. And once again, my parents didn't believe me, at least finally, not until the present day.
Now the not happy ending part was that this was that teacher's last year of teaching. She passed away that summer, before I started my actual year of 3rd grade. I did hate her, but I was not happy to learn of her passing. The part that makes me feel better though is that NOW my parents believe me! If any of you wondered why the librarian didn't say anything when my teacher DRAGGED me by the wrist to force me to check out a book against my will? It was because she wasn't in the room! She was out on a restroom break and teachers have the authority to use the librarian's computer to check out books in situations like this when the librarian is out of the room. But the reason my parents now believe me, is because of my librarian! In the present day, I work at a popular craft and fabric store. And my elementary school librarian is still that school's librarian, but she also works with me at this store as a second job! It is SO FUN working with her! It took me a while to go from calling her by her last name to get to first name basis, since for 5 years straight I never knew her first name. I brought up my 2nd grade teacher, and she mentioned how sorry she was for me over how I was treated back then. (She saw herself how I was treated, but of course didn't see the wrist dragging). I had told her before of the wrist dragging incident. And she believed me because she saw a glint in my eye of how mad and prideful I was when I was checking out that Emily Windsnap book. Then how sad I was when I was returning it. My mom visited me one time at work, and discovered how my old librarian now works with me. My mom commented on my stories of my old teacher and my coworker confirmed these. My mom was SHOCKED! My stories as a second grader weren't just my imagination!

Omg those stories about health hit me hard I had one teacher claim I wasn’t asthmatic (my PE teacher) because she had asthma and my symptoms didn’t match her. She gossiped about me to the other students while glaring at me. She tried to make me run 25 laps while everyone had to run three. I had a doctors note explaining I wasn’t allowed to do physical activety especially NOT RUNNING. She also took my inhaler off of me and told me it had to be administered at the office IF I needed it. Well I ran half a lap before I felt my lungs BURN from physical activity. I started to feel my chest tighten. My body was struggling to breathe. Kids started tormenting me, telling me to hurry up stop faking it etc. My teacher started yelling at me. I collapsed, my bestfriend at the time began to yell call an ambulance and that’s all I really remember. When I came too I was in the ambulance with paramedics around me checking pulse blood pressure and oxygen mask on my face. I ended up being taken to the local hospital and was released after a few hours. I explained everything to my parents when I got home. My mum went ballistic at the Principal and later told me that she had had it with the school. As I had already encountered MANY instances where they put my life in danger and with bullies. The next day I was taken out of that particular PE class and placed in another one with a much cooler PE teacher who encouraged me to do what I could and not be ashamed of not being able to run laps and do much physical exercise. I have no idea why that teacher thought I was faking asthma. It’s such a stupid thing to fake.

The second grade story reminded me of my own, I was 5 turning 6 in second grade as I had a late birthday and started school early. This woman had it out for me it felt, she’d make comments like “maybe you should go back to homeschooling/ don’t act like you’re a genius/ “etc. she said one thing that stayed with me forever, “no teacher will give you the time of day bc you’re ‘trying’” I always failed in math, she used that to her advantage by saying I can’t move up to the next grade with these grades I’m making, always calling my mom if I went to the bathroom or wandered a question wrong. My mom told her “maybe it’s time you retire if you can’t teach a kid properly” needless to say, she wasn’t there the next year and I’ve passed every class. My first roommate in college told me a story of when she was younger. I get nosebleeds every time my nose gets even slightly dry, so when the first of that year came up, we ended up talking about it. As a child, she'd had a nosebleed one day in class and quickly realized that it meant she got to leave class.
After a little experimenting, she figured out she could stab the inside of her nose just right with her fingernails to cause her nose to bleed. However, before too long, she started to get them more and more even when she wasn't causing them on purpose.
She ended up finding out that repeatedly cutting that area open had permanently damaged the skin inside her nose.
Except the difference in the ones she had caused on purpose and these new ones from scar tissue is that after that, her nose didn't just bleed. After that, her nose would randomly become a damn *geyser* of blood where it would projectile spew out of her nose with little to no notice.
These are something she will continue to have throughout her life, and I witnessed several of them myself. All because she wanted out of class in Kindergarten.

Unfortunately, before I could use it one of the guides (we were on a hike) grabbed my arm and asked me wtf I was doing and why I had a VAPE. I looked at him with solid anger and explained that it was an inhaler for medical use and I could die if I didn’t use it (all with difficulty as I was currently dying) and he spent about 15 seconds looking for my medical paper on the inhaler before another guide pushed him aside and told me to use it quick. The a-hole guide got chewed out by nice-guide and then we went on with our day.

Okay, so I have a story that kinda fits with the little girl and her lip balm and the nose bleed story.
when I was in year three we went on a school camp, and on the first morning there I fractured my wrist on a bush walk (we had made damper (a type of bread) in the bush because Australia. And on the way back for morning tea (as if we hadn't just stuffed our faces with damper...) someone pointed out a dead thing behind me, and I being a kinda dumb, curious kid I looked back trying to see it, tripped on a root and my palm met my wrist... fracturing my wrist. But my teachers just thought I was homesick when I was crying and saying it wasn't okay... and you know, when I didn't show up to the next activity (Id also like to point out that nobody came to find me despite me being a 10 year old in an unfamiliar place... like... what!?).
When we finally got home (the next day) I had been forced to go to the rest of the activities and do the macarena (imagine a chubby ten year old crying every time they move whilst doing the macarena, yeah that's me), and my sister picked me up from the school and was like "why is your wrist bandaged?" probably assuming I was just being a weird ten year old, and I explained to her what happened, she took a look at my wrist, called my mum and took me to the doctor. it was put in a cast and the doctor was angry that I wasn't immediately brought to a doctor...
Now the story mostly ends here for me, except everyone wanting to sign my cast despite me having no friends that year... but my aunt, well she worked for the education department and has been a teacher for... almost 30 years by this point... she had a few choice words for my teachers...
the teacher who was incharge of medical needs (first aid, medication, etc) went on to have an affair with one of my friends' dads, soooo not a great teacher...

I had a splint packed because I kinda had chronic wrist pain. I wore the splint for the rest of the week, even though my hand was swelling up like a balloon so bad the splint actually cut into my skin. I climbed the rock wall that week AND played volleyball out of spite partly. When I got back home and my mom saw my wrist, she was PISSED. I ended up having to have months of physical therapy to get me to be able to use my hand properly lol

While I was in the USAF we deployed a mobile radar to help protect the Vice President. Our group was small and everyone knew everyone. The guy in charge of site security, a Senior Airman (E-4) we called Deputy Fife, decided to that he needed to show everyone who was "in charge" of the site. He decided that he needed to inspect my mobility bag, and proceeded to remove every single item in his search for illicit items and terrorist weaponry. He didn't find anything, of course, and started walking away.
    "Excuse me, Deputy Fife?"
    "Yes?"
    "Aren't you forgetting something?"
    "What?"
    "Your search is complete, right?"
    "Yeah."
"Well, now you get to put back the items you removed from my mobag, exactly in the order they were before you removed them."
    "But...!"
"Get busy, Senior Airman. That's an order, by the way."
He had somehow forgotten that I was the site chief for that deployment. Silly Airman.

That teacher reminded me of my own abusive teachers. (And I mean abusive, one of them got fired after they found out how I was being treated, and another ended up giving me PTSD. I can’t eben watch Umbridge from HP without having a panic attack, and it’s been over a decade)
With the one who was fired, I was usually the punching bag (not that the other kids didn’t get it, but I was the one who got it worst)
She once dragged me through school because someone assumed their candy was stolen (it wasn’t, they didn’t even look) and I happened to be there that day.
Speaking dragging, I had concrete burns on my arms and legs, and all up my back after she dragged me up the steps by my leg. Didn’t stop her from grabbing my injured arm the next day to drag me off the 1m tall climbing frame.
With the other ones, I was in a special needs class (autism, ocd, seizures, you name it) and the teachers clearly shouldn’t have been looking after differently baked people.
One student apparently used to come home every night and act up really badly because of the stress she went through watching the “bad” students being punished every day. (She was one of the well behaved students, so I don’t recall her ever being abused)
We had a student who had some sort of issue with his bladder or bowels, who would literally run out of class into the bathroom, sometimes more than once a class who was banned from using the bathroom (he still used it, though)
One of the girls who had Down’s syndrome would get stood over and mocked until she did her work because she was “too slow”.
Speaking of standing over us, and mocking us, that was two of the teachers’ favourite things to do. The mocking screwed me up so badly I freak out at anyone who uses that particular mocking tone (not sure of the other students), and as for standing over us, that’s probably one of the few things that didn’t leave lasting issues on me... I think, I haven’t had anyone stand over me since I left high school...
You could easily tell who the favourite students were, they never got into trouble. I recall two occasions (minimum) where I was stood down while the other students were barely given a talking to, and on one of them, I wasn’t really even at fault. Someone groped me, I moved to cover crotch, and accidentally kicked them in the head... I was stood down, she got a “no touching” book...
*sigh* As you can tell from the long comment, I’m still not over a lot of what happened there...

That story about the chapped lips reminded me of one time I went in to school and wasn't feeling good. I tried telling the teachers but I can't remember if they didn't care or didn't believe me. So, we got to gym class and I felt the sweats come on - I'd eaten some bad mushrooms on a burger the night before and it was then my body decided to give out on me. Lets just say that I had a bad case of sweats and diarrhea when they finally escorted me out of the school and sent me home. But damn if I didn't get halfway through that workout. Even better was that I'd said something smelled weird about my burger but my dad and I couldn't figure out what, so I just ate it anyways. My stomach handled it just fine, but the rest didn't. I knew something was up, but like a good kid I just went for it and let them deal with the fallout.

I keep hearing all these stories about people getting in trouble for not showing up to be shifts and I feel weird cause the one time that happened to me the boss was super chill.
I was working a summer job as a dishwasher between grades 11 and 12. Our schedules were posted monthly so we had a lot of time to see ahead. I noticed that I had an unusually large gap in my schedule, 4 consecutive days off, but didn't question it as my overall hours weren't cut. I took the opportunity to visit my dad who lived in a different city.
On the second day there my dad, step sister, and I were going bowling and my boss calls me in the car around 2:30.
"Hey man where the hell are you? You're shift was supposed to start a half hour ago?" I had never been late before and his voice was more concerned and confused than angry.
    I say "I have the 13th-16th off."
    "The schedule was changed."
"Oh? Nobody informed me of that, sorry."
"They didn't? Well sorry but is there any chance you could still come in? Where are you right now?"
"Um, I'm in [name of other city]!"
I tensed as there was a brief silence, then my boss just laughed and went "Well today shouldn't be too busy so I think we'll be fine without you. Sorry about the misunderstanding, have a good trip."

My science teacher in 7th grade was an idiot! Literally *_NOBODY_* liked him! Once he said to the entire class when a bunch of kids were talking during class, and I quote, “I have never seen this behavior from university students!” Seriously dude? We were 7th graders! 🙄 He also once told us this story about a time he electrocuted himself unplugging something from the wall the year before and his arm wasn’t working so he went to the doctor who said that it would be like that for about 48 hours. About 48 hours later he was getting upset thinking his arm would never work again! Then his arm started working again! He then said that then he started to wonder if the reason he was so upset was because his arm knew it was going to start working again and kept telling his brain “I’m gonna start working! I’m gonna start working!” and his brain didn’t want to believe it and kept saying, “No it’s not! No it’s not!” As if that wasn’t stupid enough, then he said that he also wondered if the doctor hypnotized him or something and because the doc said it would be like that for 48 hours it started working again 48 hours later! I’m not making this up! Sever students called out “or maybe the doctor was just right!” I think he said something a little dismissive when that was suggested but that part I don’t remember too well! He also once tried to convince us that the reason he was gone for 2 weeks was because he went on a paid research sabbatical to the very bottom of the Mariana Trench with a “vacuum thing” to vacuum up the plastic trash down there! The rumor was that he a *WHITE* teacher had been suspended with pay for saying to one of his black students (who was in my history class that year but had my science teacher a different period) that “your kind doesn’t belong here!” And sent her to the office! Him being suspended with pay was recently confirmed by my dad who was also a math teacher at my school. When asked about the rumor my idiot science teacher said, and I quote, “who’s student?” (Of course I am not going to share her real name for privacy reasons) He also once tried to walk out on us after the supervisor came after he had sent 3 kids out with referrals and lied on them! (I remember the exact things each kid said that caused him to give him a referral: the first girl said “I can go to principal and ask him what SDL (self directed learning) is!” The second kid got a referral for saying “but she didn’t do nothing!” after idiot science teacher said “and I can give you a referral!” Then the second kid read what the referral said out loud to the rest of us. It said “was rude after given warning” which wasn’t true and another girl said “tell them I’m your witness” which won her a referral too!) When the supervisor came Mr Idiotscienceteacher got up, started to walk towards the door while putting on his jacket and said “I’m going to head over to the library you can take care of them they’re all on strike!” There was more than at least 10 minutes before class lol and he actually managed to walk out the door when the supervisor stopped him and they talked for a few minutes (wish I knew what they said but I was basically the closest to the door and couldn’t hear anything) before Mr Stupidhead came back in looking annoyed slightly defeated and with a look on his face that said “I will have the last word!” and “ugh I hate these stupid children and I have done nothing wrong” and it was pretty funny! He even said “there will be no movie on Wednesday” (every Wednesday he would play an episode of this show called Brain Child that none of us even enjoyed)! On Wednesday, he played an episode of Brain Child for us even though he said he wasn’t going to which honestly made me laugh! He was eventually fired more than a month before the last day of school (again confirmed by my dad recently as I am no longer attending that middle school)! Needless to say, nobody missed him! As said in a Grumpy Cat meme I saw which I wish I could print on a card and send it to him because I feel it was perfect for this, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder, of your absence.”
Edit: I just found out he is now the CEO of a new not well know company that he did talk about in class which honestly surprises me

I was allowed to have a ratio of 20 kids by myself, i took care of 24-27 by myself. Out of ratio and ILLEGAL! My coworker worked with 7 and up. Her ratio was also 20 kids...she had 48!!!! I gave them a 2 week notice because i got a new job caregiving a special needs man (still at that job and LOVE IT) BUT! After the first week, i had a vacation already approved the week after. I can completely relate to the first story. the same thing happened to me.
This happened more than 20 years ago, when I was 16. I got my first real job at Pizza Hut. I was working as a cook, and got along with most everyone there. Except the head manager and assistant manager. The head manager was a general bitch to everyone, but there was a special thing between me and the assistant manager. My niece and her son were in either pre school or kindergarten at the time. He had been sexually harassing my niece constantly, wanting her to touch his "pee pee". She knew who I was, so there was a lot of animosity and tension between us.
    But back to the story.
I had been working there for several months and my normal schedule was 5-10 with the occasional 5-close. No big thing. I usually stayed to myself, did my work, and went home. Here's where the problem comes in. The manager would make the schedule every week. I would photocopy it to take home so I knew when I was scheduled to work. It was quicker than searching for a pen and a piece of paper to hand write it on. The managers started changing my schedule *_WITHOUT FUCKING TELLING ME!_* I was pissed. I would come in to work for a 5-10 schedule, and when 10 would roll around, I would get ready to leave. They would try to tell me I was scheduled to close. When I told them that they were wrong, they would just say "If you want to keep your job you'll stay until close." Fine. Bitch. This went on for a few weeks, with me getting more and more pissed as it went on.
    Now for my revenge.
There was one night that was beyond chaotic every year. Homecoming. I was the only cook that wasn't involved, or didn't have a date so they scheduled me to work. Ok. Also homecoming was on a Friday night this year, and Fridays are nuts anyway. I was scheduled to come in at 5. Where was I at 5? Home relaxing. I get a call at 5:10.
Manager - "Where the fuck are you?"
    Me - "Home"
Manager - "Are you coming in?"
    Me - "No"
Manager - "Well thanks for telling us you fucking quit!"
Me - "You shouldn't have fucked with my schedule without telling me then threatened my job, cunt"
That was the last time I talked to them. I heard that both managers had a mild nervous breakdown that night, as they were the only two available employees and couldn't keep up. A lot of customers waited over 2 hours for their food and were pissed. I also called the health department on them for recycling pizza, and they were shut down a month later.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This is crazy because I can totally relate to the 3rd video too.
My second grade teacher had a special hatred for me. I never understood her. She made up stories about me and not only told them to adults, but to the students as well. If I was wiggling my foot, it meant I had "problems". She made me sit in a box for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks she would try to tell me it had only been one week and very loudly call me stupid. I eventually started skipping school and vandalizing the teachers cars and school property. I retaliated like that. I was never officially caught, but they all knew it was me.

How in the world can they expect you to know you have to work if they don't call you? I worked a job where they wouldn't call you if you were late for a scheduled day. I had a no call, no show because of this. It would have been nice to have a heads up. That is what eventually led me to quit that job. My last week of that job was the worst. My last day was supposed to be Thursday. I worked Mon, checked my schedule for the next day, was scheduled to work the next morning. Went in the next morning and I wasn't on the schedule and was scheduled for Friday. Went home, worked my scheduled Thursday and didn't show up Friday. What were they going to do? Fire me?

However, they have never once used this to look at our phones because no one is stupid enough to use them for anything other than music.
