Particularly if they've had to assume some diminutive of their name that they hate because they joined late and all the good ones were taken. E.g. Dick
@@benthekingofking You do know men are far and away the victim of violence much, much more often. In fact, if you include prison, men are also the victim of rape more often. There is no link to violence or society in sexism, sexism is discrimination applied to someone based on their sex. Same for racism. If you actually want equality, start by applying the same definition of hatred to every group and not trying to make excuses for why one group's hatred is not as bad as another's.
OMG I had a similar incident as the first story. This was in 2017. My best friend and I were going to Japan for a month and I had this approved a year in advance. Our company was rearranging stores to be under different area managers and ours got changed to the worst area manager in the company. She's short very hot headed lady that shares the same name is I. She is known in the company for being too strict and only thinks about what benefits her best. Also, her and my manager have a bad history. It was a week before I was set to go, she caught wind of how long I was going to be gone and immediately without thinking to asking any questions said no I cannot go. Sadly, I'm not the type of person to defend myself but I did this time and my manager did as well. I was very upset. I told her it wasn't right for her to come in and deny my vacation time without getting any information that it's already been approved a year ago and she can't just come in here and take that away from me. Luckily, my old area manager had a talk with her too. I got to go but she definitely made my I do not like you list.
The fact that lady still had her job for however long she was pulling her crab just tells me that the company was just covering her and her bullshit until it simply no longer worked for them and negatively effected them.
what I wish I could see was a waitress/cashier "can I speak to your manager?" Karen and a customer "Can I speak to your manager" fight it would be glorious.
My mom worked HR for 40 years, she might be the exception but she would do anything for her employees. There was one guy who was almost fired multiple times and she bent over backwards to get him training and vouch for him. After my mom retired he ended up getting fired and blames my mom. Smh
One thing I did was I was stuck taking notes every meeting. Then my boss told me to make my notes more detailed. So I started writing notes like a romance novel a few lines..."We just opened our first proposal when Anna came late her breast heaving up and down with her heavy breathing raven black hair with a few loose strands against her pale skin was shinning like stars in the sky." He told me I was never to takes notes again.
I was going to school for computer science and on the side I worked at a catering company. I took the job as a favor to my friends dad who was a chef there and was short staffed for dishwashers. This company worked all over the state but it was fine because I could pick the time and places I wanted to work. Was a sweet gig at just over minimum wage in my state. So when my friends dad the chef quit I stayed on because I liked the people. It was 2 months in and I was at the warehouse where the catering company cooked and kept their tables plates, dishwashing etc. I was washing dishes when I was called into the office by the vp. She tells me that she had new network equipment coming in as they were still using dsl and all of management barely knew anything about computers. She had looked at my resume and saw that I was almost complete in my degree as well as me being on the cyber defense team at my University. “So I see here you work with computers, do you think you could set this up for us on one of your shifts?” Other than doing minor jobs for friends I had never worked in my field of study professionally so I was ecstatic to be doing what I loved and to help out the company as I was just starting to feel valued by the chefs and others not including this job I was just now given. So of course I’m like “yea I’d be happy to” and her face lit up as I said this. I went to my buddy’s house 2 days before I was going to be starting the install. I was bragging about all the shiny toys I was gonna get to play with. We’re talking a Cisco ASA fire wall, 24 port managed switch, 2 NASs, 2 server racks, like 400ft of cat6 cable, routers etc and even a mesh WiFi network for the other employees. I was gonna have so much fun tinkering and hardening (make more secure) the network. Now, my buddy that I was visiting is a sales man. So naturally he looks up and his first question is: “Dude that’s awesome, so uh.. what they paying you?” Then it hit me. I was so caught up at being able to work in my field that I completely forgot to make sure I would be compensated properly. Now I know why her face lit up when I agreed to do it. She was playing me to get me to do the work for stupid cheap. I was more than happy to wash dishes for what they paid me, but to work in my expertise that is also happens to be in very high demand in my area. Fat chance. I thanked my friend and I called the vp the next day. I explained that I would be happy to do the install, just not at my normal pay. She was furious to say the least. “How dare you ask for a raise over the phone in this manor! No! You’ve haven’t even been here 3 months and you want more money?” ... “um no, you pay me that wage to wash dishes, this is a bit more technical than that so I just want to be properly compensated for the job at hand, once the job is done and I’m back in the kitchen, I’ll go back to my base pay” ... “I don’t see what the big deal is for such a temporary job” “okay then get any other bus boy to do it instead”... “No! You will do it on your next shift!” and hung up. I was mad at this point, not necessarily because i was hung up on, but that it’s was obvious she was trying to take advantage of me and I wasn’t having it. Especially because I had just landed a job as a IT contractor for the department of defense. I call my buddy who was going to be working with me and I have him do me a solid and call out the day of the install. I had no intention of doing it without written confirmation that I would be paid properly. So I go in the big day and oh no one dishwasher called out so it’s just me (only room for one at this dishwashing station). I quickly clock in and get to work on the dishes About an hour goes by and the vp comes storming into the kitchen. “Why aren’t you working?!?”........”um I am” *with a pot and steel wool in my hands* Note I have a decent ability to keep my cool while being yelled at (thanks dad lol) so I just let her pile on “No your job we agreed on” “I agreed I would do it but we never agreed on a price and that’s going to be in writing before I start” and btw She’s yelling so loud the chefs are now staring at us. “You are the Employee! You will do any job I give you when I give you it!” The chefs look visibly angry now that they see who they are working for. It felt so good to simply say calmly “I took this job as a favor that is long done, I stayed because I liked it here. Not anymore.” I turn to the vp who is red in the face “let’s get this straight right now, you have ZERO right to my services, and now that I see who you are, you have lost them” I take off my apron to clock and walk out. She makes a move towards me to presumably grab me when the executive chef, who is one of the main attractions for the company because he’s held in high regard, grabs her shoulder and growls “you’ve done enough, and you’ll have my 2 weeks on your desk before the end of the day” I couldn’t stop smiling on my drive home. Low and behold I find out later that my friends dad had actually recruited him to work at the country club he does now and the executive chef said he would but just needed a reason to get out of there to uphold his reputation to other chefs and boy did I provide. PS: I’m now properly compensated for my expertise :P
I'm not sure why OP was scared of getting fired for speaking to the VPs? I mean, I would have just attended the meeting and told them I'm sorry, but I was explicitly forbidden from saying anything. That I notified my boss and she screamed at me for agreeing to come to this meeting.
naomi senpai I’ve been there. Make sure you have someone in your life who you feel comfortable talking to about this, whether this is a friend, parent, or someone else. Having someone to talk to has helped me a lot. Remember that you are loved. ❤️
The first one reminds me of the Bruce's sketch by Monty Python "Your name not Bruce then?" "Ah, no it's Michael" "You mind if we call you Bruce, it'd save a lot of confusion"
To this "the law is the law"-thing. Amazingly I think he actually could have said "I am very aware at which speed you WANT me to go, but also there is no legal sign enforcing this speed"
That crazy boss and her "feminism" (which is actually sexism and insecurity) are a perfect example of why people who would happily support equality, are wary as he'll of feminism. She even makes those crazy "masculism rights" people look like they have a point.
I’m sorry, My dad just accepted a job as an SVP (Senior VP)so I’m VERY familiar with the term, and I found it really funny (in a good way) hearing you say it as super VP and by you making me laugh, you’ve really helped me cope with the stress of moving, and turn a bad day around
The last story was kinda nice regarding the "cleverness" towards court/the law, but i hate that people drive too fast and get away with it. One time, ok. Two times, ok. But so many times over a few years? That's not cool. (notice that this is phrased VERY politely, speeding is dangerous most of the time and i hate people who think that this is "cool" or so).
"Ashley.Ashley, Ashley, Ashley... " I have another common name, and I recall that once a doctor called out for my name, and five of us, a nurse, a respiratory therapists, a secretary, a CNA, and a doctor, answered if five-part harmony.
That last story really pissed me off, people who speed are the worst. Like a drunk driver, only giving a shit about yourself instead of the others on the road who you might hurt and possibly kill.
Hi I'm new to ur channel and I've been binge watching for about maybe two weeks and I have to say I love every video so far but my favourite are always r/maliciouscompliance
The dads who kept getting speeding tickets could be putting themselves and other people lives in danger due to their reckless driving. How about just slow down and drive the speed limit.
The speeding ticket stories reminded me of a specific case I transcribed when I did legal transcription 5ish years ago. Long story short, old lady wasn't wearing her seatbelt, refused to swear in to testify (so the judge could literally put ZERO weight to her testimony - hell he didn't even have to let her testify), and her ENTIRE ARGUMENT was basically "Jesus take the wheel".
@@LedgerBalance I know it's Vice Present in this case.... Also aware that SVP is Senior Vice President.... I may be British but I understand American terms 😂
Finally had my own Maliciouscompliance!!! its small, but still felt good. At my job, each person is on different accounts. I take care of account A with one other person here in the office. I also watch the orders inbox for all the accounts and get them out to the other teams. I sent a problem to a co-worker that is on a different account than me, one i dont do anything with and he sent it back saying I should contact the customer to figure out the problem. So i did, but made sure to list the co-workers email address in the body of the email, telling the customer to make sure to contact him with their clarification. Dude, not my job!
I’m confused by the “I didn’t know whom was telling the truth” line in the sexist boss story. What was OP talking about? He never gave any indication that he had been lied to by the VP’s above his own boss.

And when they ask why, say: "I'm not allowed to tell you anything. Boss' orders"
Eben Marco But then he would be talking. He needed something to jumpstart him for him to talk, like how SVP said approval from karen isn’t necessary.
Should have taken a white board and communicated through that. XD

just push play saying, "this is unacceptable and why i wanted to have this meeting."

Karens overtaking the monopoly of the privilege to be talking to managers
I almost thought "sexist" was "sexiest".
Is it just me who is completely appalled with how human respurces, who's job is to take care of employees, constantly fails to do the very job they were formed, created, made to do across the board no matter what job it is?
Hell to the yeah
Their job isn't to take care of the employees. It's to help the company so either they don't get sued, or how to get the suit dismissed.
In other words, they're there to protect the company, not the workers
How about a change of pace? Do some "ThereWasAnAttempt", or "InstantJustice", "InstanKarma" or simlar?
yeah r/entitledparents is getting old.

"Super" VP's. Very, funny. :) However, it is "Senior" VP (Vice President). But I am sure that most SVP's would love you version better.
The 34 dislikes are the "being sexist to men doesn't exist" crowd lmao
technically sexism towards male iis not the same as sexism towards female, as sexism towards women as a really complicated link with society in itself and a multitude of problem going from rape, to violence and so on while male victim of sexism are most of the time in a situation where one person of the other sex is sexist towards them. It's the same for racism, it's not that it doesn't exist it's that it's a different form that does not involve the same logic
Benoit Ducloy um yeah girls can be racist if you actually don’t think so then your dumb and I actually is the same since all the stuff is the same for boy or girls to have
You are so right!! I grew up in a firefighter family and you would NOT believe some of the women I met that tried to put down the men yo make themselves look good!
Speaking as somebody with an extremely common name, it's probably someone called Ashley or Michael, who knows how much of a pain in the hole it is and that they would have felt like they were being punished too!

That's the point I'd beat her to the ground cause you dropped a crap ton of money on that trip
The boss deserved it, you should always treat your employees equally no matter what gender 🗿
The fact that lady still had her job for however long she was pulling her crab just tells me that the company was just covering her and her bullshit until it simply no longer worked for them and negatively effected them.
what I wish I could see was a waitress/cashier "can I speak to your manager?" Karen and a customer "Can I speak to your manager" fight
it would be glorious.
Ok but were the conversations detailed as well, littered with "she said, he agreed" etc?
"Super" VP, that maked me laugh. Wait, I assumed you knew it was Senior. Either way, lol.
When you can legally break the land speed record on a Canada road 😂😂

Only *I* can speak to your manager😂 These Karens are getting more entitled lol
I quickly clock in and get to work on the dishes
About an hour goes by and the vp comes storming into the kitchen.

That crazy boss and her "feminism" (which is actually sexism and insecurity) are a perfect example of why people who would happily support equality, are wary as he'll of feminism. She even makes those crazy "masculism rights" people look like they have a point.
I was on a choir trip with five Haley's and five Noah's. On the trip the teacher just shouted their last name during role coll.
If there had been a flood during the trip, you'd probably be safe
I hope all the men that sexist boss fired team up and sue the company and sexist boss for discrimination, defamation, and wrongful termination

Holy s~~t, that boss. That was disturbing, was almost creepy like she was trying to claim and own him.
I misread the title and thought it said "sexiest"
That last story really pissed me off, people who speed are the worst. Like a drunk driver, only giving a shit about yourself instead of the others on the road who you might hurt and possibly kill.
I hope that boss lady can't advance to a higher position ever again

Hi I'm new to ur channel and I've been binge watching for about maybe two weeks and I have to say I love every video so far but my favourite are always r/maliciouscompliance
The dads who kept getting speeding tickets could be putting themselves and other people lives in danger due to their reckless driving. How about just slow down and drive the speed limit.
I had similar thoughts. Reckless drivers are bad but to knowingly and intentionally be reckless is worse. No excuse. Bet they dui as well.

The guy was pretty lost at that point and didn't know who to trust in the company
He was expecting women to stick together as they usually do.
He wasn't trusting anyone, neither the VP Or the Boss. Considering the situation he was in, I'd lose my trust too.
