My 1998 carrier air conditioner and Goodman furnace got replaced about a month ago… the new furnace is a Lennox elite and the air conditioner is a Lennox mermit series… I forgot both model numbers…
1 compressor, and the motor of said compressor is single speed. It uses a series of unloader valves within the compressor to vary the refrigerant flow.
