We ran at the highest temp for 20 min before using it, and it went away. For most air fryers, it seems to be normal to smell the plastic the first 2-3 times. In our experiences, some of the other ones smelled worse. This is just our experience with the unit we received.
How to get rid of the plastic smell? My instant vortex plus, after 3 sessions of 40 minutes at 205 celsius, still emits a strong plastic smell. I think it comea from the top vents and not on the drawer. As when i remove the drawer, the drawer does not smell plasticky.
@@thomasrodinel I ended up running a few more sessions like that and then days later just started cooking food. Eventually did not notice plastic smell anymore
I’m surprised at the noise level. They always advertise the pro LE Cosori air fryer with very little noise and to hear yours sound as loud as a truck? This is false advertising on the Cosori industry.
My Instant vortex 4qt lasted 3 years so I wouldn't sweat the 6qt plus unit only having a 1 year warranty.

Plastic smell on the Instant or Cosori? Our Cosori smelled for a few days.

Thank you for watching! It's not really a very little noise but normal/expected noise for an air fryer.
What a waste of space on top with the COSORI having the controls on top.
Agreed - we also didn't see the point of the Cosori's control panel being on top
