I recently just got this card and getting the same specs. I even had a suffocating Phanteks case. I helps to have a Noctua fan and maybe arctic fans which doesnt cost much. I seriously love it and goes above casual gaming. Thanks for showing us your specs!

I reach 70 degrees maximum while playing on max settings on any game. It’s probably because I have 5 case fans in my system. Maybe try adding more fans in your system if you haven’t already.
Got this card on a budget but getting a 2070 super with much better cooling in December (30th August Right now) to pair with my r5 3600 4.2Ghz OC should last till then!
I used this gpu like 1yr still didn't get any problems..... Almost Run all the games pretty good fps❤️❤️ Some time get more heating at summer days....overall such a good gpu for an budget 👍👍
@@ZayedAlshehhi I have the same design for the 1660 ti, how I am managing the temperatures : - limiting games to 60 fps using vsync. - use MSI afterburner to undervolt the card so I have GPU clock speed at 1770 Mhz. - use MSI afterburner to set gpu fan speed to 75 percent atleast while gaming. Doing so gives me max 79 degree C ( room temp 28 degree C ) on ultra settings with 99 percent GPU usage.

@@nunsiama How many fans do you have? Ideally you should have no less than 3, two pulling air through the front and no less than one pushing hot air out from the back. Your case has a covered front cover which creates poor airflow which leads to higher temperatures, you could remove the front cover to let the front fans pull air more easily. Removing the side panel will also improve temperatures, unless you want to buy another case. There will be more dust, so clean the interior often to keep temperatures low. Double check if your fans are set correctly to pull air in from the front and push air out from the back. Another good way to cool the CPU is to set one of your top fans to blow down while the rear fan pushes air out of the case. If you are blowing air out remove filters of the top, remove the dust cover to improve airflow, since you only need them to keep dust from coming in, not from going out. Another solution to lower your CPU temperature is undervolting it. This is often used by overclockers. There are plenty of videos on youtube showing you how to do it. If your cpu came with a fan, it likely already had the thermal paste on it, but if you installed another cooler/fan then double check the thermal paste, check youtube for how to remove thermal paste and out in a fresh dab.
That used to be the case for me when I was using the RX580 Red Devil... like a damned Hair Dryer and too hot. But after switching to 1660super temp improved a lot!
@@Nucle0nic07 the gtx 1660 isnt the best card, but this specific card with no overclocks or underclocks can reach 81c underload, this card ranks in the top somewhere amongst all the gtx 1660 cards and its amazing but i wish the cooling was a lot better but it is a single fan card and it handles the card well, its not too loud but its audible keep that in mind, if its your budget go for it, but with the money you can get this right now you could get a used or new rtx 2060 or rtx 2060 super for about the same price which i would recommend instead as they have more fans depends on the varient of it

I have the single fan version of the 1650 super, I get around 35c on youtube with 35 fan speed. While i'm gaming I turn the fan speed up to max (It's really loud but I don't care) I usually get around 71 to 76c.
I addded thermal grizzly to my card same one as the one in the video. Idel temp is 29 max settings on cod 60c I also have 8 fans in my case 3 intake 3 exhaust and 2 fans on cpu intake and exhaust (Arctic duo) loving the temps after cleaning the card and repaste it. Highly recommend to do. Really easy as well. Hope this helps someone.. cheers 🍻

If you lock the fps to 60, it will low the Temps... It happened on almost all heavy games that I have... But on the witcher, I don't know why, it goes to 80/83° But, it's not like the card it's going to melt down, the hardware just do termal throttling when it gets high temps... Everything it's fine actually... Mine it's a 1650 Super, same model
Idk why but this card is not running hot on my pc cs go runs perfectly at 50c 30% fanspeed overload 65 70c (demanding games) but during summer it gets hotter as hell 60c cs go and 80c (demanding games) idle 50 but this card is still a good deal if you have an good airflow
@Luciano B u need and really nice cooling aswell + try to make ur room more cooler u can aswell try to make airflow better this ones might deacrease 10 15 c depending on what was causing it to run hotter i can run any game at 40 50 stable not demanding games and demanding games around 75 80 if your pc case is trapped and has nowhere to get air out then move it out it will help alot
if it has the same design as this card, then dont. Since the temps are too high for all of these. I have same 1660 ti version and it gets 80 degree + aswell
That and upgrade the thermal paste used you will see a big difference trust.. also give it a good clean make sure you get all the old thermal paste off before applying more.
I got the same card bro, I use EVGA X OC, I adjust the power target to roughly 90%, card sits at 75 degrees max settings on warzone 1080p. Just takes some tinkering.
its good at 1080p, nothing amazing really. Pair it with a good CPU and you will play almost every game maxed out. I just get annoyed when my GPU temp reaches 83-87 degrees so i'd recommend you to pick up 2 fan version. Although you can increase fan speed to cool it down below 80C the sound is just awful especially without headphones.

I have not, but it seems my GPU feels a bit broken, where when I start PC and do a little browsing, then I play games, 95% of the time it will freeze and crash. But if I start fresh and then instant play games, 80% of the time will not crash. I have try every oc and underclock it still happens. :O

I bought the 2 fans version , the tuf gaming gtx 1660 oc dual , the temp is 87 after litterally 5 min of gaming , on the first day of usage
@@Blatt246well undervolting would be fine after maybe a year of usage or 2 , but i bought it recently so im send it back to them as its still under warranty , i dont want a heater i wanted a gpu , 88 on the first day of usage is just not acceptable
