Really? try Walter Freeman, his therapy would make you clean slate. And I can think of far worse ones, so probably some joke I dont get or you really dont know much about medicine history.

@@The_KingDoge I dont know what are you trying to say? I accept, but did not understand what is so scary about "Freud" in particular in comparison to many MANY worse cases. SO, I deemed its either some kind of joke, or lack of knowledge of how bad it was because IMO "Freud" is nothing in comparison. Anyway thanks for grammar lesson, not sure I needed it but ;)
This game has four different horror stories, each of which has a different graphical style and different gameplay (and they all have good and bad endings). It's a fun concept, I particularly liked Lord of the Road and The Red Button. :)
I do like how the game reminds you that you can take a break if needed. It's kind of neat how simple and integrated it is. ANd oddly fits the story, given how intense therapy can be.
In Nocturne, its kinda funny that the story compares fantasy and reality in its endings. Seeing as how in the "reality" ending the girl jumps from her second story window, that's 20 feet up, in the rain... When she could have just left out the front door when she saw the creature/person initially.
You unlock this door with the key of your imagination. Inside it is your therapist, who's Sigmund Freud, with a Hellraiser hand puppet. Maybe it's magic or contains some kind of monster. The second one. You've just been diagnosed with... the Creepy Syndrome.
The first two were fine, the second one was even a little intense at spots... But that "Watchful Gaze" episode? The most "terrifying parts" about it were the pacing, story, puzzles, and progression. The concept was about as scrary as a sliced orange -and I have absolutely no idea why they would put a dragged out, uninspired, and pace-destroying chapter as the FIRST on the list. I wouldn't be surprised if people were requesting refunds after three minutes of playtime.

You can't make your game scary without the vine boom sound effect.
