Thank you so much for taking the time to do this, very useful.
Thank you! So after changing and clearing the code and driving it for 2 weeks the codes still come back on right away. Do you have any ideas on this? 2014 model.
Wahhhh , a new sprinter season thanks Sergei
Your welcome Trying hard to make more Sprinter videos, in December I will make way more and many this year as well
Hello
Please thell me what is the collor of the wire from car ?
The new abs sensor ist just with cable BROWN and JELLOW
I need to know the collor of wiering from the kar at abs
I will be installing my ABS soon and I will tell you what I did
Hi.
My Sprinter went in limp mode. Wont shift. Changed conductor plate, all solenoids. Reset. Still the same.
My ABS light is on. OBD reader says two rear wheel sensors and it refers this code to transmission. Can tranny go into limp mode if 2 rear sensors are bad?
Did you ever figure this out???!!!!!! I’m having same issue!!!!!!
How’s you get the speed sensor out?!?!
So all 4 of my speed sensors are reading 1.16 mph when the van is completely stopped.. none of my lights are on but I'm having transmission issues. Any idea what's causing them to not read zero? Or are they all just bad?
worry when one keeps reading 1.16 and the others dont when you are driving...
I had the front speed sensor ring that that sensor looks at fail as it got really rusty
Installed new ones and brakes worked awesome again
Great 👍
What about the front wheel? I heard a strange noise on the front when I deployed the brakes, eventually the brakes would seize up on there own, my van has been down for months and all efforts to correct have failed (new used ABS system, bleed brake lines) the only thing I haven’t done is check the abs sensors.
sounds like you need new brake pads . are your rotors ok?
Hmm I'm just a DIYer but to me seizing points at calipers. What did it end up being?
U skipped the only part why I came here...
Stop talking bunch of unnecessary things work instead
Спасибо за видео!))
I'm really missing some vital information here...
According to Mercedes the sensor should be coated with acid free grease and then installed all the way into the mounting hole. The clearance will adjust itself automatically when driving. It's very important not to have too big of a gap between sensor and slotted disc. Otherwise you get an abs fault even with a good sensor...
Another thing to remember, if you decide to spray the rotor (and brake disc) with WD40 etc. is CLEAN THE BRAKE DISC WITH BRAKE CLEANER BEFORE PUTTING BACK TOGETHER. You risk increased brake distance/brake malfunction if oil or grease gets on to the brake pads...
Do a quick search on RUclips on how to ACTUALLY TEST if the sensor is working or not.
This so called "expert" doesn't have a clue what he's doing. Just taking stuff apart and wiping it with paper towels and putting it back together again doesn't solve anything except clearing away built up dirt on the sensor...
Do it right the first time and test the sensors and wiring and clean both sensor and slotted ring (make sure the slots are not blocked by dirt and rust build-up etc.)
I've got nothing against this guy, but don't claim you're a "Sprinter Expert" and give people bad instructions and information...
if grease or oil gets onto them and
Did I claim I am a sprinter expert? I don’t believe I did, I don’t claim to know what I am going look at my videos, I just do everything from my own experience and share my know how, unfortunately the actual sprinter experts won’t make videos like this, just think about it, why would they, they much rather get you in a shop and charge you for the work, then give the information like this in a video and just make $1 per month from this video, obviously this would be a complete waist of time, I am here to help Sprinter owners with less knowledge then me or similar knowledge then me, to share my DIY with like minded people, I will say this I don’t hold this against you, I actually appreciate you letting me know how it’s done, maybe this is why my ABS light is on
@@ZimaletaMotors hey did you finally get the abs lights to clear ? what did you have to do to clear it . Im working on that right now, thanks
I need a video on turbo actuator replace/repair for 08.
I will keep you in mind when making 2012 videos, it’s 3.0 diesel as well
Your videos are ordinarily great but this one really doesn't show me anything at all about where the sensor is or how to replace it. You left out all the vital parts showing what to look for and where unfortunately.
I'm having the same problem... What are you doing? The 3 braking sensors all come on one day.
@@Gabbyk77 - the common reason is that something happened to one of the wheel speed sensors. This can occur when someone does brake or suspension work and knocks one out of place.
My issue though is that I got a new steering rack installed and the alignment is all out of whack so all the traction, ESP, and ABS light illuminate and that system doesn't function correctly.
This video..although I appreciate your time to do it is not correct..no need to remove brakes or disk...unless your brakes are all gunked up..simply remove the abs sensor and test and check the wiring...mine was a worn wire that had fallen on the prop shaft..there is a much better video in this section which is technically correct
removing rotor allows you to clear all the #)*#)*& which has collected on the clock ring. Doing this ensures a better repair than just changing sensor.
I can't find a bolt on my rotor. There are holes in rotor but no bolt. Wtf ???
Maybe it’s missing?
how do you remove it ?? how do you bring the new one in ??? to much blabla - who is worst !!!
Useless. Literally all I came here for was to watch you take out the sensor.
You skipped the actual removal!
Maybe
this guys videos drive me nuts...
WOW I got nothing...just like the info in this video
Why do you never finish your videos. You get to the clincher when your just about to show repair result and you end the videos !!!!!! I have watched and followed you for years and you are so frustrating
Really stupid instruction! Because it is impossible to remove ABS- Sensor after more than 10 years without destroying it.
make a better video yourself, jackass
