I just picked up an MXR from the new Dye inventory. They must be listening. Mine came with the newest software and the smaller Oring already on the eye sleeve.

is the breech sleeve have sharp edges? mine was shaving the black tip off the bolt on the top side after a day of play. i sanded the sharp edges down with 600 grit sand paper

@ I don’t think it does but then again I wasn’t looking for that. I personally think they should have just stuck with the last gen eye pipe. I never had a problem with it cracking and it just takes a little self awareness to not shoot it out the breech with the barrel off.

@fibonacciitv2402 mine was sharp and I too used 600 to clean it up a bit. It seemed to help sigh the breaking issue a little but but it didn't shave my flex face which is kind of odd now that I think about it

That CTRL loader came as separate pieces and were invoiced separately, because they sell all the parts individually. Top shell, bottom shell/tray, speed feed, spring ramps, normally they’re all sold separately. Only recently did Bunkerkings realize how dumb that is. I spent wayyyy too much on my CTRL with all its bits and a month later they introduced the CTRL2.

It’s crazy Dye releases top dollar markers and they have all these problems…. Planet eclipse will always be king!

@kylebedford8731 riiight because eclipse has never struggled with a marker design with the original geo, the geo+, or the original etha. All of which were completely reworked and rereleased at a later date such as what dye has done with the DSR, the M3, and will possibly do with the MXR.

@@TinkersKustomPaintball You're proving his point there fella. the markers you listed came out almost 15 years ago. Are you saying Dye is 15 years behind PE in terms of QA/QC? the point is in 2024 there is NO excuse for widespread manufacturing defects in a high end product line. people are having to sand down parts of the MXR to make them function for fucks sake. You paid 1600+ for that marker to not work correctly out of the box.

What is your operation pressure now that you’ve changed all the seals?

I wonder if the product testing before launch just isn’t as extensive as it was back in the DM days. This and the dls having so many issues is wild. Just started using my first dye product marker this month. Went from a PE CSR to a dsr+ with a pro kit and I don’t know if I’ll ever go back. Just the ergonomics alone are insane.
