Hey there, unfortunately, since this was a one off commission, Black Fencer isn't making this a standard product, hence not being available in their website. You can still get in touch with them to see if they are willing to make another.
Noticed the pommel-guard ring in the spec is missing in loco. Guessing it was a change you discussed and agreed to? It'd be pretty hard to miss amidst all that detailing.
@@BernasLL Yeah it absolutely was. IIRC the original type 1 don't have that ring so I decided to go against it.There were already too many changes turning this into a Type 1/2. The originals started having the ring from Type 2 onwards and it was there to prevent the hilt from basically deforming too much and force the closure of the knucklebow against the pommel.
Thank you so much, I was always under the impression it would've been said like that so I'm grateful to finally get that out of the way, just hope I didn't butcher it often during the video. Cheers! - Rui
Well it is slightly. Best I can do is tell you that this was made as a one off custom and price was adjusted for a friend. If you're looking to get one made you'll have to get in touch with them directly and inquire on a price. Usually though Schiavonas go for a very high price HEMA wise, and are rank high on the price list. They can range over +/- 600€, which given the amount of time and work needed is justified. - Rui
@@EspadaNegra Thanks a lot for answering! I kind of wanted to get a feeling for an aproximate price range, as my current budget is unfortunatelly limited. It is logical that the price here is not fixed, as it is custom made/made on demand, but some guideline In the pricing helps one decide and plan on what they can reallistically afford&expect. I am glad you understood that and answered! And apologies for the rudeness sir!
Looks like a beautiful blade. Congratulations on the purchase!!! 🎉👏👏👏
Thank you, it really is! Can't get enough of it!
Do you have a link to this product? Perhaps it isn't sold in the United States. I was just wondering if I could get one.

@@EspadaNegra Thank you, sir!

Thank you!
😎 Sweet! Can I get a matching parrying dagger with it?
If you ask them I'm sure they'll make it.

Also, nice bout there at the end, as usual.

The name is pronounced skiavona. "ch" in Italian is hard "c".
Thank you for the review!

Is it rude to ask how much you paid for a custom made schiavona?
