Also I am just realizing this right now as I type this, but after I close the program, my PC reverts to its original color, and does not stay the same colors I've input into the program. ive had this computer for a long time, actually have the same ram as him i knew i could change it through corsair. but motherboard, wasnt working through its compuiter app thing, and i couldnt change the fans either, this app really saved me as the fan was always stuck on blue and motherboard was stuck on some amber color and my computer was just the ugliest thing known to man

Quick question, Im going to be using a splitter to connect 3 rgb fans, the cpu fan and lights strips. Then Im connecting that splitter into the argb connector on the motherboard. Doing it this way, will this app find the rgb's? Or do I need a sync box? Thank you!
It'll work. Every device will just show up under the one header in the motherboard section of Open RGB. You'll only be able to set them all to the same color, though. If you want to make some of them a different color, you'll have to connect those to a different RGB header on the motherboard (if you have more than one). I have all my RGB fans, etc alternating between two headers in my build, since I have two ARGB headers. That way I can select two alternating colors to set a theme or set both headers to the same color, depending on my mood.
Big thanks for the video but it seems like the software doesn't recognize the lights in the case, on the CPU cooler, fans, GPU :( So, I'm stuck with the rainbow unicorn nonsense, haha.

For some reason OpenRGB is seeing only 2 of my 4 Corsair Lighting Node Pro strips and as for the fans...I had 8 Thermaltake Riing 14s in there...took 2 out so 6 in there now....OpenRGB only sees 5 fans and 2 of the five fans are the ones I took out so its only letting me change colors of the 3 out of the 6 that I still have connected. Weird!!
I've been looking for something like this. The only thing it can't change is both LED's on my RTX 4090. The LED by the fans I can change but I can't change the writing (GEFORCE RTX) LED's.
use signalrgb instead of this if you want better device support and better effects, and i dont think the aio screens work with any of these softwares it doesnt work with mine either
Thank you for your indepth video. Do the RGB devices have to be connected to the motherboards RGB connector? Or will these programs work with external control boxes like the Coolmoon LED and Fan HUB connector that is just plugged into a SATA power connector and controlled normally by a remote etc. Thanks.

Is it possible to address 4 different devices(labeled and ENE Dram) which is my 4 sticks with the same pattern.? I have to select each ram stick, and they are never in sync.

When scanned, system does not appear, only Logitec mouse....😃....Alienware Command Center does not work anymore with this system, since BIOS A14 installed. Hello. I am using Dutzo and Termalight fans but for some reason when i select a profile or color in OpenRGB the fans just flash that color and nothing, they switch instantly back to this rainbow mode. Same things happens with my G skill rams Any idea why?

Hi! when i open the program i get a blanc window. first it says that my AVG blocked the driver winring0x64.sys .. even when i add it as safe to my avg it just doesnt start up like it does in the videio.. HELP!

This software just fixed my issue, thank you. Ram channel 1 was not synced so 1 and 3 were all screwed up. This fixed it!
The app changed my RGB on the Corsair, GPU, RAM cards but it can't seem to find my Arctic Cooler, you are definetely underrated!

You need argb with can be controlled. You probably have rgb.

Got the IPASON gaming PC off Newegg and it has NO RGB controls on it whatsoever, will this work for it?

yes the modes could be changed, in order to do so, you'll need to disable icue
every time i restart my pc one of my RAM sticks no longer lights up? any ideas why that would be?

There is a music mode in some of the RGB SYNC software's but it won't glow at all without music

No problem at all! yes, they need to be connected to the motherboard directly, otherwise RGB's will not be recognized.

It'll more than likely be under your rgb or argb headers on your motherboard. From there you can control them.

Unfortunately not, I believe Alienware lighting is strictly under Alienware’s command center.
direct mode just turns off the LED's on my keyboard ( razer huntsman mini )

Make sure there isn't any other programs activating your RGBs for your fans. Usually that'll cause conflict with your lighting. Hopefully this helped!

Probably not, if it doesn't show make sure to inform the devs as they are constantly working on OpenRGB

See if you have your rgb strip connected via argb header if not it could be running off a power source where it randomly changes colors.
I need help because as soon as I used it and changed the color to blue it went to red but when I changed it again all my fans went black..
