      That's truth.. and people don't know lots of things, like D serie actually make more Nm by horse power than a B or K series because of sohc (yes, a b series handles more power/kw than a d series (with similiar builds). 5:15 you don't have an intake system! really nice setup but the open turbo no filter is a big cringe, anyone who knows anything about engines will tell you that's basically a road vacuum cleaner and will not last long at all!! all it takes is one little rock and thats it!! damages everything even offsets the wide band 02 reading used to actively tune the engine correctly

    So like that d15 runs 75.5 vitara I’m trying to run a d16y8 which is I believe 75.0 so that’s what I should do? And what about the Notch when you ran with the skunk2 do you need to clear the notch or you had to notch it? (Keep in mind I don’t wanna bore more so I just wanna keep stock sleeves 75.0 and I don’t want to notch so I’ll just be running the no notch speed factory I want to know if I can get away with the skunk2 and not having to do that so what you guys think????

    • @hatchbackturbo93
      @hatchbackturbo93  5 лет назад

      No, with the Skunk2 Rod's you have to notch the bottom of the cylinders and the girdle on a D16

    • @hatchbackturbo93
      @hatchbackturbo93  5 лет назад

      Also if you're going to run the standard 75 mm Pistons it will be very noisy like a diesel when it's cold due to excessive piston to wall clearance (piston slap)

      Which exact skunk2 should I be getting I see there is two the vitara spec and the other just says d16 (alpha connecting rods) and okay sounds like I’m notching I’m fine with it. And I guess I’m cool with the loud noise. I’m going to do more research on the girdle right now
