The sound pick-up volume was 20% too low for me. The injury exam was fairly self-evident, though.. Safe cranial & neck exams require caution, with victims often "out of it." Skull fractures and punctures are common. The turn-over position needs to be memorized. This whole patient assessment would be particularly valuable in case of a fall or a watercraft accident. I am reminded of the usefulness of clothing shears. I have a short gutting knife that I am planning to test for quick cutting of clothing, I keep a basic surgical kit in my vehicle. A surgeon & a nurse or two can be handy companions, eh? In case of fever, checking for appendicitis should not take long. WWII-style tourniquets seem to be OK, and are compact to carry. T Y!
